blueprairie says "I've used 5 slings, this was my least favorite." about New Native Carrier Sling

While I can't say there is anything specifically wrong with the New Native Carrier Sling, it just wasn't the right one for me. I think perhaps it was too big. I didn't feel my newborn was safe when inside and found it uncomfortable when they were older and trying to use it as a hip sling. I suggest you shop around and ask your friends to try out the slings they have to find the one that is right for you.

Bottom line, buy a sling. I couldn't have survived without one.
...

adcdaylight says "THE best thing I bought for my two daughters when they were born" about New Native Carrier Sling

The New Native Baby Carrier is the absolute best baby sling I have ever seen! It is small, light, easy to pack, and it doesn't require adjustments. No buckles or extra fabric to wrap around you. Nothing to slip, nothing to come undone. Perfect! It works wonders! My oldest had severe reflux and this was the only thing that would stop her crying. They should issue them at the hospital! My second child loved it too!!! If you are thinking of getting a sling... this is it! It works for years too.... just leave it doubled over and you can sit older kids in it and save your arms! My 5-yr old still rides in it on occasion. Just put their legs through and it fits under their rear and holds them up. So comfortable and convenient. I would not dream of having a child without one. It is so comfortable - i used to wear my children around the mall, Target, etc. They absolutely loved it and so did I. We recently used it at Disney World for both my 3 and 5 year olds.
...

festiveoccasions says "great for small amounts of time. " about New Native Carrier Sling

Love this sling! the New Native Carrier Sling is great for when baby needs to be held for small amounts of time. It is easy to put on and to get baby into. I have used it several times and always get a lot of attention from other shoppers. I think everyone should wear their baby. Baby is much happier and has less colic. Also it alows for hands free shopping or cooking and cleaning! I love it! I have used it for long periods when baby was sleeping and felt uncomfortable and worn out at the end. Of course my son is now 22 lbs and heavy! If you are going to be shopping or walking for over an hour I would bring backup, like a stroller. Unless you have an infant, I didnt use this with an infant. My baby was about 7 months old before I started using the sling. I wish someone had told me about slings when my baby was a tiny baby! I prefer a wrap for longer periods of time, but a sling is a must!
...

Carrie779 says "My baby loved being in the New Native sling!" about New Native Carrier Sling

Two of my friends have New Native baby carrier/slings and I took their advice and purchased one for myself off of their website. I got a huge discount on my sling because I bought one with an imperfection that they fixed and then shipped to me. I spent maybe $35 with tax and a brand new one is double that price plus shipping. As soon as I got my sling I put my baby in it and she fell asleep. I believe the New Native mimics the feeling of the womb as my baby was snug as a bug in there and as I walked around she got the same feeling as if she were inside me. This sling was a lifesaver for her fussy moments and for when I needed to get things done around the house or had to run errands with her and my 3 year old. I am considering a different sling now as she is getting heavy and the weight is all on one shoulder so I may purchase a baby carrier that distributes weight on both shoulders equally, but I used my New Native every day for the first 5 months. I highly recommend it as I believe slings...
...

Bdraja says "You'll use this one a lot" about New Native Carrier Sling

As a first time parent there's so much stuff on the market it's hard to know what to choose. Somehow we ended up with several baby carriers. This one is one I reccomend very highly. It's easy to wash, durable, "stylish" (you don't have to look like you're wearing a baby contraption if you take the baby out of it but leave it on--looks like a scarf).
I still use this with my son now that he's almost 14 months. I love how I can just throw it on and have him at my hip or back hands free.
When he was newborn he loved to take naps in it and I brought him everywhere with my that way. Plus you can discreetly breastfeed.
I could go on and on but lastly the sling doubles as a blanket if you should happen to find you need something else to wrap the baby with.

...

cbacon says "Easy to use sling, great to have in diaper bag." about New Native Carrier Sling

This sling is awesome. Unlike many of the ring slings and whatnot, you don't have to worry about ajusting or wrapping it over and over. It just loops over your shoulder, and baby fits right into the pouch. It's soft, easy to wash, and folds up super small to fit into the diaper bag. I used mine from the day my son came home from the hospital, it was a great help in making sure I could use both hands for my older child....

foytix says "I could not live without this" about New Native Carrier Sling

I absolutely love this sling. It is very light weight. I usually just throw it in the diaper bag and go. It is easy to breastfeed your baby in. I also love that you can use it from birth until 3 years of age. I use it when we go shopping. I love having my daughter close but being hands free. It's a lot more sanitary that putting your child in a shopping cart. My daughter is 7 months now but she has always loved it and still does. She loves being able to see everything going on. I highly recommend this product....
