Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock, SPF 55, is very light and absorbs into my skin very easily. I purchased this product to use on my face because my face is very sensitive to the sun and burns much faster than my body. I love the high spf of this product and that it is made by Neutrogena. I always take this product with me to the beach and when I am on vacation. It is made with helioplex and covers a broad spectrum of uva and uvb rays. I never feel greasy when using this product and it doesn't clog my pores since it is oil free. This product is waterproof, sweatproof, and resists rub-off. The scent is very light and smells & feels clean. I love that this product is the #1 dermatologist recommended suncare, so I know I am doing something good for my skin. The bottle is a little pricey, but since I only use it on my face it has lasted a long time. I use a SPF 30 product for my body.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer, Dry-Touch Sunblock is a total joke. I was so excited when this stuff came out, because who doesn't love the idea of a sunscreen that's not oily and doesn't smell like sunscreen? And this sunscreen does exactly that...and really lives up to all it's supposed to be...as long as you don't move or let anything touch you after applying it! Ya that's how fragile your sun protection is with this. Literally minutes after putting this stuff on, if you so much as say touch your arm, it's all peeling off. If you brush up against something, it's peeling off. If you bend your leg, it's peeling off. This stuff is horrible! I'm so disappointed as this really is a great concept, and I have been searching forever for a sunblock that doesn't smell like a sunblock as I can't stand that smell. Plus the oily sunscreens are a serious turn-off for me too, but I guess the search continues, because this one is certainly not the answer.

Nutragena is known for its gentle products. The Nutragena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 55 is no exception. I had surgery in April 2009 on my neck. The only task I had to perform after surgery was to wear sun screen every day so my scar would not turn blue?!? Needless to say, having a 2 inch long blue line in the middle of my neck is not something I wanted to risk, so I became a religious daily user of sun screen.

My research told me that sun block is the more effective type of sun screen. Meaning that it needs to have something in the formula that blocks your skin. What this means in practical terms is that the sun screens with the best protection will most likely leave a white film on your skin.

Nutragena Ultra Sheer is really ultra sheer. It does not leave an annoying white film on your face, and it did not make my very sensitive skin break out. I can put it on instead of moisturizer and put my makeup on over it (even a liquid foundation when needed) and not have to...

I detest the feeling of greasy sunscreen, especially on my face. That's why I use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen. It is non greasy, water proof, sweat proof and has a high SPF of 55. It comes in a tube so I use it primarily on my face and use other less expensive sunscreens elsewhere. However, once you apply this sunscreen it absorbs quickly and you forget you have it on.

the neutrogena sunblock spf30 is good product for the body except for being bit greasy but for sensitive users is not product for face,like to see neutrogena make more natural of a sunblock for face & body,at price under $10 with helioplex.

I have been using this sunscreen for years and it's my favorite sunscreen, hands-down. I have recommended it to many friends with both oily and dry skin, and everyone seems to love it. Most sunscreens leave a slimy, oily feel on my skin 15 minutes after application (and I have dry skin), but this one does not. The "dry-touch" description is very accurate: it feels dry, almost powdery (but not chalky) on my skin without leaving a whitish mask the way some sunscreens do. It does dry sheer (invisible, really). I have no problems putting makeup on top of it, and it does not make my makeup slide off. It affects how the makeup feels a little bit, insofar as you can tell there's already a layer of something on your skin, but it doesn't cause my foundation to change color as other sunscreens do.

Also, I have had no allergic reactions to this sunscreen, so the hypoallergenic claim (as with all Neutrogena products) seems quite accurate.

I discovered this sunblock last year and quickly took to using it everyday. For a sunblock with such a high sunscreen number it does absorb fairly quickly and the protection is outstanding. I run outdoors in the nice weather and I never worry about burning with this product. I have tried using it with facial moisturizers that do not contain sunscreen and that is a hit or miss event. Sometimes they work well together and sometimes the products gum up. If I am going to put makeup on this is not my go to sunscreen. If I am headed to the gym, beach, outside anywhere au naturel then this is my go to product.

This product had a lot of good reviews so I decided to try it out. Someone mentioned that Neutrogena Ultra Sheer, Dry-Touch Sunblock was good for sensitive skin. Well, I have VERY VERY EXTREMELY sensitive acne prone skin, especially around my cheeks!! I have deep cysts that wont go away but just grow bigger when my skin doesnt like a product. When I put this on after I washed my face, I did feel a tingling sensation but its nothing big. It goes on very nicely and works well under liquid foundation. I have to powder my face with powder around noon but isn't it like that for most products? I've been using this for a week now and I haven't had any break outs (and my cysts havent grown!!) but I just recently got an explosion of bumps around my cheeks!! I can't claim that its from the suncream but if it is, I will be the first to post it online!
The price is amazing for the amount and quality. Some of my friends use this as a body sunblock.

I have tried a couple of sunscreens and still haven't found the sunscreen that I would religiously use everyday. Neutrogena's is definitely NOT every day use. It is super oily and super greasy, cakes and melts off all my make-up in a matter of few hours.
I do like how I really don't tan much more when Ido use it, so although uncomfy, it must be blocking some UV rays and protecting my skin.

I just wish it was more comfortable escpescially for the price it charges.

Sunblock is the best thing a girl can have. I truely believe in 50 or more for your face. The sun will age you so quick. Everyone thinks your not going to tan with sunblock. Trust me you still get a tan with sunblock you just dont get all that harsh damage....

works extremely well, I actually use the SPF 85. I was in direct sun for 3 hours, and my face showed no sign of sunburn...I highly recoment this stuff!!!! And the price is great too!!!
