AirKrol says "I thought skin id worked fast and I loved what it did to my skin" about Neutrogena Skin id

I was first using ProActive and it wasn't working too well. I decided to try out Skin Id to see what would happen. The first week it cleaned out all my pores so I broke out a little bit, but that is natural when you first switch to a different face wash product. After that first week, I could tell that my skin was starting to clear up and it is still working great. Every once and awhile I get a zit but I never breakout anymore like I used to and I love it. It is completely designed for our skin and asks many questions about ur daily routine and where and when you break out. The only problem I still have are all my pores seem to still be there. They aren't as bad as they used to be but I mean I naturally have bad pores and I have tried everything to get rid of them but nothing works so it is just something I have to live with. Anyways I would really recommend skin id if you have breakouts a lot including during your period because it really helped me.
...

Violetppg says "Neutrogena Skin ID sucks your wallet and skin dry" about Neutrogena Skin id

I've been TRYING to be nice to this product for a while. I kept telling myself that I'm probably over-using it, and other days I used to tell myself I'm under-using it...but I'm done making excuses. Skin ID is overpriced, smelly, it makes your skin feel dry and it's definitely not a routine you eagerly want to perform before and after a long day of work. The face-wash feels like butter when you smear it on your face, the acne treatment gel makes your face feel tight, and the moisturizer? It doesn't moisterize! It makes your face like a Raisin!! Seriously? I want to give it one star, but it does kind of work.

I'm saying it 'kind of' works, because I haven't had large, painful pimples since I got the product. However, I got the product for those minimal pesks--blackheads and those small bumpy white heads you can't actually pop, and I've still got them. I routinely use it, yet my goal to beautiful skin has not been achieved :(. Recently I've noticed that the product has been actually bleaching...
...

jq2122 says "Worth a try but beware if you have sensitive skin." about Neutrogena Skin id

I've tried Neutrogena products before and had good experiences with most of them, so I thought I'd give skinID a whirl. I filled out the online evaluation as honestly as I possibly could (making it clear that I have very sensitive skin), and I still ended up with products that caused an allergic reaction.

If you don't have sensitive skin, this product may work very well for you, but I think you can probably find products with the same ingredients at a drugstore for much cheaper. If you have sensitive skin, you'll probably do the same thing I did, which was spend 30 minutes on the phone with a customer service rep trying to convince her that no, I'm not SUPPOSED to have red, itchy, flaky skin after using these products and that yes, I would like my money back.

I'm not giving up on Neutrogena as a brand. I'll just stick to choosing the products I want and not being forced to buy what they think is best, based on some online questionnaire that they obviously don't pay attention to anyway....
...

I used the Neutrogena Skin ID recommended following the short quiz performed regarding my skin type; environment; etc.

I must admit that it helped my skin -- Did it clear me up -"no" but it improved my existing acne condition... Not well enuff to commit to a $40 auto-ship tho.

Within DAYS of discontinuing it, the acne starting coming back, just as bad - IF NOT WORSE, than it was prior to using it.

All I can say is try it... We are all different, so who knows?

I have always had a problem with breakouts... not exteremly bad breakouts, but bad enough to make me self conscious about it. I saw the commercial for Neutrogena Skin Id and decided to give it a try since nothing else seemed to be working. I have tried various products but nothing else has helped me like the Neutorgena Skin Id. I have three products that seem to really minimize my breakouts, and on the occassion i do breakout it isn't as bad as it once was.
...

bepink1001 says "neutrogena's skin id, results in clear healthy skin in only a fe" about Neutrogena Skin id

Out of all the acne solutions I have ever tried, Neutrogena's skin id works the best. It is a personalized system based on your skin type and lifestyle. In order to purchase skin id, you must sign up at www.skinid.com, and take a skin evaluation so that you can be matched with the right skin-care products. The questionnaire is advertised as quick, it took me about fifteen minutes, which I don't consider quick, but it WAS worth the time. I have dry sensitive skin, which often breaks out with large red pimples (not pretty!!!!!). Most skin-care products would dry my skin out more, and leave it read and irritated, and I was breaking out just as often. So, basically, not only did other skin-care products NOT help at all, they made my skin worse. I was kind of losing hope in ever finding a way to stop my acne, until i purchased skin id. My personalized skin routine consists of a cream cleanser, an all over acne treatment, and a skin hydrator. The cleanser is soft enough to not hurt...
...

I am Brand New to Neutrogena Skin ID and I have to say I am not sold on it. I only started to develop Acne late in High School and Just like most girls I used make –up to cover it up and over the counter acne control products. Now I am 23 years old and my Acne condition is worse than ever. I have tried most brand including Pro-active, Noxema, Clean and Clear and other Neutrogena products, pretty much everything you can find in local stores. I am Just wondering if I will ever find something. I live in Wyoming so I am in the Mountains and we have a differing kinds of climate and weather conditions. Let me Just say I have only been using Neutrogena Skin ID for about a Week and I think it is making my face worse. But most products make my skin worse before it gets better. But like most products before I am scared that my face will clear up and then go back to being bad. Its weird because I think I found something and then just like that its Bad Skin Again. I will post again in a few weeks...
...

mamontenegro says "This is the best, most effective acne treatment I have ever used" about Neutrogena Skin id

Neutrogena Skin ID is by far, the best acne treatment I have ever used. I have struggled with acne since I was a teen, and as an adult I have not been able to find a better acne treatment system. The personalized treatment ensures that you get the right products for your skin type and lifestyle. After taking the simple survey to get your personalized products, you get a two month supply of your products. Although the price seems high at first, it's actually a great value because it lasts for a long time and it works so well that you don't have to use it as frequently as other products. The best part is that it's more than a system of creams, face washes and medications. Membership to Skin ID also allows you access to dermatologists who are on call to answer your questions about your skin. Also, the customer service representatives provide great services and are prepared to answer any of your questions. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for great skin.
...

When I first saw the advertisement for Neutrogena SkinID, I thought, 'o another acne product like pro-active', but then I ran out of my face cleanser which I was using for the past year, which my aesthetician recomended, which wasn't doing it's job like I was expecting it to do, and she promised it's the best thing out there. The name of it is Babor, it's made in Germany, and it just wasn't working for me. The cost of my usual cleanser was about $40, plus the day moisturizer another $40 and night cream another $40, I was already looking at over $100 just for that and it wasn't even working. I thought, well why spend all that money for that, why not give the SkinId a try and the price for 5 products cost me about $50 with shipping. For years I had problems with my face acne, and I'm already about to turn 30, and I brake out like never before. As soon as I got my product I was 'iffy' but I gave it a try, and it's been over a month now, one side of my face and my forehead cleared completely,...
...

I have been using Neutrogena's skin ID products for a few weeks now, and have not seen a difference from using any other acne treatments. I feel very disappointed because I had such high hopes for it, seeing as how it is supposedly personalized. It probably works for people who have success with any regular acne cleanser. I, on the other hand, have not had true success with any product, so maybe it's just me?
