I don't have a major problem with acne, but I do get the occasional break out from time to time. There is nothing more annoying than being in your mid twenties and having a random blemish that just won't go away that makes you feel like you're a teenager again. Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Elminating Spot Gel is a great spot treatment or to use on small breakouts. It is a clear gel, and doesn't burn when you use it. It works fast to clear skin, I could tell immediately that it reduced the redness of my blemishes. It also reduced the swelling and it was not even half the size a few hours later. I find that it works best to use it at night right before bed and your face is starting to clear up when you get up in the morning. I use it now when I feel like I am going to get a blemish right away and it seems to prevent new ones from popping up. And the ones I do still get seem smaller and less noticeable than before.

ive struggled with acne for most of my life and all of my teen years. It was always something i tried to treat but most products either dont help at all or they just simply make it worse by increaseing redness or increasing dryness. Neutrogena has been a great tool in my life. The doctor actually reccomended proactive and i tried it but it really didnt help much. Then we tried Acutan which i would never ever reccomend to anyone. Finally she said,lets try something simplier and something thats going to be nicer to skin. So i went to my local drug store and picked up this product and tried it that before i went to bed and when i woke up the next morning. It took about a week but after that first week i could see a great difference. My face was less red and irritated and i had alot less acne. I went back to my doctor and we took my after pictures and it was insane the difference. i hadnt noticed how bad my skin was until it was almost perfect and neurtrogena helped me do this

I used to have Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Spot Gel, and switched to Clean and Clear, because the Neutrogena option was so much more expensive. I'm not sure I'd say I regret the decision right now, becuase I'm a starving college student, but Rapid Clear definitely works better. I have to put the Clean and Clear one on more often to get the pimples to go away as fast, and it ends up really drying out my skin in whatever area I put it on. The thing is, this tiny bottle will last you FOREVER, so it might be worth it over the long run to have the better product at your disposal. I have only occaisional pimples, especially when I'm stressed, so I'm not using these products to manage serious acne, only a breakout from time to time. I can't speak to what using these products more often would be like. I think next time I run out, which probably won't be for a long time, I will go back to using Neutrogena because it is the better product, and even if it's twice as expensive, 9 dollars...

I discovered Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Elminating Spot Gel in my mother's bathroom! My mom has given me a lot of crazy advice over the years and sometimes I look back and shake my head at some of the things she has told me to do. I mean, but she never delt with facial hair issues herself, so how was she to know that women should not shave their upper lips with a dry razor to rid themselves of this plague!

My sisters, on the other hand, on the other hand have the low down on all things facial care and I suppose they are actually the ones responsible for having this miracle worker in the cabinat. Stress makes me break out like crazy and the larger the stress... the harder the break outs to control. When my brother passed away you would think that the ensuing break out fest would be unbeatable! My sisters dabbed a bit of this ointment onto my zits the night before the funeral. Ouch, but it did burn! (not as bad as the day they held me down and plucked my eyebrows, but it did...

I have tried this gel several times and see no difference between using it and letting nature run it's course. It stings and has a very chemical smell. I think there must be other products that would work better for the price. Available at any drug store, this product seems to irritate rather than sooth the blemish. I paid around $8 and find it to be money lost in the fight against the zits that attach once a month. Surely a dab of toothpaste would be just as helpful. I've heard that is what the stars use.

I went and got me the neutrogena acne eliminating spot gel. I tend to have small breakouts when im more stressed and this product says it reduces redness and swellin within 8 hours, and it does. It is pretty effective but im no soo excited of it i have tried better. But this will do until it runs out and i can try another.

Found that is didn't try me out, but I use a lot of lotion because it helps control my acne. But it didn't clear up more than any other product I have tried. It worked but not better than some other brands.

I usually use Netrogena products, and they in general are very useful and do not damage my skin, this product didn't damage my skin. But it didn't do much to help my acne problem.

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Spot Treatment is the BEST acne product you can buy. They claim it will shrink your pimple in like one night, and guess what? This one really does work. My first thought, the first time I used it was: "Where was this product when I was a teenager?" Oh well. These days, I only have to it once a month, but its great for those pesky pimples that pop up during that time of the month. I just put a tiny amount on the pimple(s) right before bed, and in the morning, they are gone! Every woman needs to own this product! Guys too! I still can't believe that it really works! It is a little more pricey than some other acne medications, but you don't need to use alot, and it works the best (i've tried almost every product out there) Its worth the few extra dollars!...

Works well to eliminate the pimple but leaves my skin dry and red, to the point that it's painful and almost better to suffer the acne than have my face feel like it's peeling off. It makes my skin ultra sensitive and not worth it....

this product really does work, I recomended to anyone with acne, it may dry up your skin a bit but it gets rid of the pinple within like 2 days its fantastic....

There are numerous acne-fighting products that can be found on numerous drugstore shelves. For me, the formulations that contain salicylic acid have worked reliably well for many years. From time to time, I do like to try different brands to see if there are any improvements in effectiveness, lotion texture, or application. My latest must-have acne product is Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Spot Gel.

What caught my attention about this product is the label that promises to "visibly reduce breakouts in 8 hours." Who wouldn't want to apply a gel and wake up with once less blemish?

My skin is still very oily even in middle age, so I have to be diligent about skin care. That means using oil-free wash and toner every night and morning. Still, there is always that occasional stubborn pimple that insists on popping out no matter how closely I stick to my routine. A whole-face mask can be too drying, but a spot application like Neutrogena lets me target the places on my face...
