I remember a time when my mother once thought that Neutrogena's hand cream was going to be phased out of the market. She immediately went out and bought as many bottles of it as she could find. She has extremely dry skin especially in the winter time because her hands are in and out of dish water all day long as well as other normal wear and tear during the cold weather. Her fingers and knuckles will crack, and any time that starts to happen she reaches for the Neutrogena hand cream. Growing up as children, we always used it for dry cracked hands caused by playing out in the snow or just the dry winter air. It is an intensive hand cream for seriously dry skin. It is not the most luxurious feeling hand cream on the market, nor does it come in a variety of exotic and beautiful scents, but IT WORKS. I used this in winter in negatve degree wind chilly Chicago while waiting tables and my hands were beautiful all winter long!! Highly recomended in the cold months!

Several months ago, I was searching for a good hand cream and found a magazine article recommending Neutrogena Hand Cream. I ran out and got a tube and was not prepared for such a dissappointment. This stuff leaves your hands feeling sticky. Yuck! I tried to wash it off, but it still felt sticky. I'm sure that there are lotions that smell worse, but I can think of any off hand. I mean this really smells bad. I tried to use this moisturizer anyway, because my hands were so chapped and dry but after a week with no improvement I decided to throw it away. I haven't found a great hand lotion yet, but at least I don't have to put up with the smell any longer. I guess the search continues. I you, like me, are searching for a good moisturizer, save yourself some time and money and skip this product. Good old Vaseline is greasy (so is Neutrogena) but it works just as well and smells a whole lot better!

Neutrogena hand cream is for dry, chapped hands. I was given a sample to start with from a dermatologist's visit.

The first time I opened it up and squeezed it out of the sample tube, it looked just like petroleum jelly. It had no smell as it is fragrance free. I rubbed it into my hands and it didn't go in at first. I had to really rub my hands together for it to penetrate.

After I had achieved that my hands still felt greasy. This continued for quite a few minutes. It felt as if my hands were wet. I persivered with the feeling and finally I could handle it.

For several hours my hands felt really moist and I couldn't help rubbing my fingers together.

This hand cream does work great in putting back the moisture into your hands. If I could get over that strange feeling of having wet/moist hands I would use this product more often. I know it sounds stupid but it is not a comfortable feeling for me.

I didn't even finish the free tube of Neutrogena Hand Cream, and ended up...

Neutrogena hand cream is the best hand cream I have ever used. As it is very good qualify. I have used many other brands but they cannot compare to neutrogena brand. A lot of cheap brand lotion are not rich at all, I would say it is just like water. Neutrogena brand hand cream is very rich, but not oily. I really removes the dry feeling of hands after long time housework.

Ladies need to do a lot of housework like washing, cleaning, cooking, etc. It is not convient to wear gloves, but detergent make hand skin rough. I feel a good hand cream is very important to me because I use it several times a day. I want to keep my hand skin young and soft.

I have bought other brands before which is cheaper, but I feel my skin still feel dry after use. Even if a non-working product is a waste of money, I feel bad to throw them away. Until one day I used Neugrogena hand cream I feel I finally found something I need.

I first tried Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream when I was working in a machine shop. I had a horrible reaction to some of the lubricants and machine oil they used and got the worst red, chapped cracked skin on my hands. Added to the fact that I lived in an extremely cold dry part of the country and my hands were a mess. It was so bad I actually thought I might have to quit the job. Then my sister recommended this cream and I thought " yeah, like that's really gonna work." But when I tried it it was great. I used it when ever I could for a week and saw my hands much improved. I continued to use it and eventually got to the point where my hands were fine most of the time. I eventually left that job, but still use this cream for any trouble spots. I sometimes get very dry patches on my knuckles, elbows, or heels and it works great. I recommend to all my friends for any real trouble spots. It is a little expensive, but it is the only thing I've ever found that really...

This is probably one of the best hand creams I have used thus far. No other handcream comes close to this one. I like the fragrance free version best, but I will also use the perfumed one as well. Use it at night and also during the day. I have used Neutrogena Hand Cream for years as nothing else could soften my feet or cuticles as well. It's always consistent in it's moisturization plus has no fragrance. I use it after the pool, after watering the yard, after washing dishes- basically after any exposure to water or extreme. I noticed an improvement after the first application. Yes, it's thick. That's why I apply it every night after I get into bed. My husband says he stopped getting hangnails when he began using it every night before bed.I keep one at work so I can put it on several times a day, especially after washing my hands. Pea-sized amount is all you need! My hands are silky smooth and crack free thanks to this wonderful product. Overall great product , love that it stays...

I have been using Neutrogena hand cream for years. I have tried several other brands and not one of them has compared to the effectiveness of this cream. I use it once and it will keep my hands soft for hours. Sometimes I use the cream at night before I go to bed and my hands are very soft in the morning. I believe this hand cream is the most reliable for softness.

I love the Neutrogena hand cream and have been using it for over 15 years! It heals and repairs any dry skin area and I use it even on elbows and knees and my feet. It is nice and thick and provides good coverage and absorbs into the skin to make it feel soft and smooth. I wash my hands a lot so it is definitely a hand saver. I get compliments that my hands do not look my age, so I will keep using this product! I wish they came in larger tubes as it is easy to use it liberally all day long. There is one in every room or bag, and my friends and family like to use the Neutrogena hand cream too. It would be nice if there was also spf 45 in the hand cream like the Neutrogena moisturizer! All sun protection is good as I like being outdoors a lot. I bring the hand cream with me everywhere I go and always offer to share it with others. It is a highly recommended product and will always be used daily and often!

I have worked as a server or a bartender in several different establishments. While working in a bar I was required to wash bar glasses in a chemical substance that is supposed to sterilize the glasses. These products, however, were making my hands become dry and they would eventually crack and start bleeding! Also, while working in restaurants a person is required to keep good hygiene and to also wash hands very frequently. This too was making my hands dry and crack. I tried everything to revert the damage that had been done to my hands ie: coconut and olive oils, various lotions and creams. Finally I tried the Neutrogena Hand Cream, and after just a day, I started noticing results, after a week, my hands were almost healed. As long as you use the product on a daily basis, multiple times a day, you will see results and have soft and supple hands again. I wish I had tried this product sooner!

I have tried everything for my dry cracked hands,they look ten years older than i really am, i tried neutrogena hand cream and have stuck with it since,it makes my hands soft and supple and best of all they look younger,,thanks neutrogena! I have reccomended this product to everyone i know and a few of them love it also and say they will never switch again, It's great when yu finely find something you can stick with instead of spending a great deal of money on all kinds of creams ttaht don't work,then end up with several full bottles that willnever get used.

I love Neutrogena hand cream because it comes out very concentrated and 'gel' feeling. I use it on the bottom of my feet because that location especially my heel gets very dry. Neutrogena soaks in and provides a non-friction feeling which I love because once I put on my sandals the hand cream grips to the bottom of the footbed and makes my feet feel better. I get prickly feet and this hand cream actually helps that condition because of the gripping feeling it provides. Also if I do happen to wear socks which I hate, the hand cream stays on my feet even better because the sock helps the hand cream soak in and also helps with the friction problem I have. I have found that Target gets the same price as Wal-Mart and I always buy the non-fragrance variety so I don't have to smell the product on my feet. It's also very helpful with dry hands especially fingers. I tend to get dry around my finger nails and Neutrogena hand cream soaks in at that location as well.

I have dry patches on my hands that come and go. I have tried many lotions, with no luck. When I found this lotion, I couldnt believe how fast and how well it worked! After just one application, my hands were feeling softer and the dry patches seemed to dissapear. I used it twice a day, once in the Am, and before bed, and when I woke up my hands were like normal.

I really like this lotion because it doesnt leave a greasy feeling, and it absorbs into my skin very quickly. I can go about my day and not feel the need to reappy it, it works the first time! Also, when applying, you dont need to put a bunch on, a little bit goes a long, long way!

The price is a bit higher than other brands, but well worth the extra money. The tube last a long time, and that is another great thing about this lotion.
