At first it was great. I'm 24 and have had moderate acne issues for awhile. I just want to have a completely clear face and at first this did that for me. But now it just seems I'll have one big zit instead of a bunch of small ones. And don't miss the treatment because then you are right back to having it all, big and small.

I am someone who has had moderate acne since about the 6th grade. I have tried many, many products that claim to be miracle workers when it comes to clearing up acne, even some very expensive ones, but none of them did much for my moderate acne. I decided to try the 3 piece Neutrogena Advanced Soultions Acne Therapy Treatment Kit and I can tell you that it does great things for my skin. I can also tell you that now I only get a few pimples here and there, but none that are too large (or painful) or that last very long.

This product has 3 steps (and 3 products in it)

The first product (step) is the face wash, which is my favorite part. It is effective in cleaning and killing off the bacteria that form and cause the pimples. It is also a great exfoliator and leaves my skin feeling smooth.

The 2nd product is the acne cream that you apply morning and night. This works to fight and prevent the acne.

The 3rd product (which I personally do not use) is just an spf-15 face cream. Personally...

Neutrogena advanced solutions 3 step acne treatment is a really good product. As long as I use it everyday it keeps my acne under control. Only right before my cycle do I get the occational pimple and all I have to do is use the overnigt acne control lotion and it makes the pimple go away within a day. Neutrogena advanced solutions 3 step acne treatment is easy to use and easy to remember all you do is wash your face wih the skin polishing acn cleanser in the morning, put on the oil free spf 15 lotion with DermaNaturals and go, then at night us the overnight acne control lotion, very easy to remember just do the steps after you brush your teeth, and I am a very busy person, I'm a stay at home mom with three babies under three years old, if I can remember it anyone can. After using Neutogena advanced solutions 3 step acne treatment I saw great improvement after just three days, I was so happy that acne was one less thing I had to worry about.

This is a three step system. Skin polishing acne cleanser, sun shield day lotion and overnight acne control lotion. The cleanser has salicylic acid. The day lotion has SPF protection and the overnight acne lotion has benzoyl peroxide. Both the acne fighting agents in this are supposed to be good and working together it should be great. It didn't work so great for me though. I was using Proactiv, but wanted to use something a little less harsh. I ended up going back to Proactiv after a couple of months of using this Neutrogena system. I wish more acne systems, other than just Proactiv, would have a scrub. I know they say it isn't good to use a scrub on your face twice daily, but at least a few times a week would help without being too harsh I think. The acne control lotion in this system was pretty drying. I had to put a moisturizing lotion (one that I've been using for YEARS and know that doesn't make me break out) on right after because it would make my face feel so extremely tight...

I purchased the Neutrogena Advance Acne Solutions set for my son and it worked well.For the first week it cleared his skin fairly good,but after that his breakouts began to come back almost worse than before.This set is about a months supply and his skin just wasnt responding to the treatment.We thought it might just be his skin needing to "adjust" to this new treatment so we bought it a second time and again the same thing! First week nice and fairly clear then the breakouts return! I've always been happy with Neutrogena products but this one has really disappointed me.I hope I can find an acne system that works through and through the way it should for my son.

I was using Nuetragena Advanced Solutions Therapy for about a month and a half and within the first week I noticed that my acne had become worse. I'm not one known for very much acne at all but I have been known for dry, red, sensitive skin. My friend suggested this acne therapy system to me to get rid of the little acne I had (at the time I was having a larger than usual breakout)and use the moisturizer for my dry skin. She told me that her skin doctor suggested it and I may break out the first week or so but I shouldn't turn my back on it because it's just the frist time reaction. It had been about a month after what I had thought was a bad breakout and I became even worse. People were asking me why I all the sudden started breaking out and family said that I was finally becoming someone with acne and my time had come perminantly.I noticed my face started to become dry and red and tight and I was miserable! I have very sensitive skin, and I keep getting small blemishes. I tried a few products and they made my skin either very dry or I would break out in a rash. So I was going to buy Pro Active from a TV commerical, but then I saw Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acen therory system, I figured, why nit, I use that brand of make-up so maybe it will help. I lve it it, Fromt he first day I used it I noticed a difference, my face felt smooth and soft, it did not over dry my skin or give me a rash. It is a three part system, first part is a skin polishing acne cleanser, it cleans your face, gets your makeup off etc., then their is the overnight acne control lotion, out it on your problem areas before you go to bed, this make your skin feel tight or dry, but don't worry by the morning you will be fine, then the last step is the oil-free spf 15 lotion, this can be out on after you shower or before you but your makeup on.
