LilliaNixon says "Netflix has given my home a happier atmosphere." about Netflix

Well, back in 2006 I tried Neflix out for my family and it was ok. I was limited to only a couple of movies at a time. But Netfiix seemed to really have a wide variety of movies I wanted to watch whether old or new. Recently my family has joined Netflix again. To my surprise it has changed quite a bit. I mean now we can watch movies instantly on our computer or tv. I can watch some of my favorite tv shows, and movies over and over as much as I want for just a low monthly fee. I was so happy, I had been looking for a particular movie and couldnt find it in the stores, and I looked it up on Netflix and there it was, I watched it a couple of times. My children spend a lot more time in my bedroom sitting around watching Netflix movies. Its better than cable. We can watch a new movie everyday. When we first rejoined, my husband and I watched 3 movies back to back. We have really enjoyed Netflix and plan on keeping it for a very long time. Thanks Netflix, you're Awesome...
...

bkind4peace says "Netflix is so pro-consumer. My one and only movie source" about Netflix

Okay, so where should I start? Net flix is not only a great service but the company standards follow suit. It seems as though Net flix is so pro consumer. If you need to put your account on hold -- you can do so for months at a time with out a monthly payment until your account is switched back to active status. I pay about $10 a month for unlimited on-line streaming movies and unlimited one at a time mail in movies. On the average I watch about 11 or 12 movies a month, sometimes much more and sometimes a little less. I have no late fees. I kept a movie for over a month and no late fee -- just a new movie upon return of the last. Once or twice a month I will receive quality check emails from Net flix, either checking the quality of the service or the customer service (which has always been pleasant in my dealings) -- The nice thing about the quality check emails are the brief nature of the inquiry -- usually just one question. I truly dig net flix. The tiniest thing...
...

kennarog says "We are definitely getting our money's worth!" about Netflix

I am signed up for 3 movies at a time and we are definitely getting our money's worth! I love that Netflix turns movies over so quickly!

I have noticed that, occasionally, we will get a dvd that is broken or scratched. Just about every movie that we receive has at least one place where the dvd will stop momentarily and then continue. I don't know if this has to do with dvds that need cleaning or what. I do wish that this would be something that Netflix could get control over.

The service is great for movie lovers! My husband and I try to watch them as soon as possible and get them back so we can receive new movies.
...

Anana17 says "I love Netflix...and it is worth the price." about Netflix

Netflix is awesome! My husband and I love watching movies so Netflix is perfect for us. They have a huge selection, no late fees and to top of the great deal, they now offer Netflix - Instant. The Netflix website is easy to use and navigate through. I especially like that you can play Netflix Instant using the Xbox 360 or some blue-ray players. The Netflix-Instant feature is also awesome and easy to use and makes it so you get even more for your money. New movies become available on Instant everyday!

My only complaints are that the search function could use a little improvement. The search function is ok, although I would like to see more of a distiction between titles that are just being released from theaters and titles that are simply new to DVD. Also, it would be nice if there was not a premium add to rent blue-ray versus the DVD format. Also, the new releases are sometimes a huge, long wait. Sometimes we get impatient and end up renting the movie from another buisness...
...

tmumf says "If You Love Waiting Months....." about Netflix

What does it take exactly to get a movie released in the last year from Netflix? Apparently the answer is, "the patience of a saint". The concept of rentals via mail is great, but you have to deliver at some point. There is no such thing as a "new release" with this company. You can add it to your queue, but you will not receive it until it is a "classic". We have waited as much as 4 months for new releases at the top of our queue! Never make the mistake of putting more than 5 or 6 movies in you queue. Netflix will skip to the "least popular" in line, and new releases will be kept on the "Very Long Wait" indefinitely. Sidenote: Netflix recently increased their charge for BluRay by 400%. If you have a BluRay player, Blockbuster's price is the same, and the last time I checked they actually had new releases!
...

This service is excellent for this day's economy. For less than $10 a month, you can watch unlimited movies that are available to watch directly from the site and still rent one movie a week that you'll receive in a timely manner right in your mailbox. Excellent idea whoever made this one up. Blockbuster couldn't hold a candle to netflix. Great service!
...

ACinNJ says "Best $20 a month you can spend!" about Netflix

I can see by the other reviews here that EVERYONE who has ever used this service loves it! A friend of mine recommended Netflix to me about 5 years ago. I am a huge movie lover and I was pretty skeptical about Netflix at first. She gave me her password so I could check out the site and see what they had to offer. I picked 5 of the most obscure movies I could think of & searched the Netflix data base for them. All of them were available for rent! The online catalog is so big that there are movies to cover EVERY taste no matter what kind of films you're into. I have a 4 year old son & this is great for him too as they have a ton of movies available for kids of all age ranges - they even break them down my age category. I love that you can keep the movies for as long as you want without late fees. I've actually saved money with Netflix just becuase of that fact. It seemed like I was always incurring fees at my local video store. Plus you feel like you're on some kind of time frame to watch...
...

khdeals says "NETFLIX!! Perfect way to watch movies in this economy!" about Netflix

My family are Netflix members. We have Xbox 360 and with XBOX 360 Live and with Netflix we can watch movies on our tv. It is so fun. Just cruize right through hundreds of movie on our tv or online just as if we were in a movie store. Then click to watch. How cool is that?!

Since we started the Netflix we have actually saved much money. It's under $10 per month for this. We can watch unlimited numbers of movies on tv or online. We also get 1 movie at a time through the mail. It's also really fun and cool to watch them through our Xbox 360 live because there is a way to watch the same movie with other friends that have Xbox 360 and netflix. It's called "Party". It's like a theater right on your screen. You can chat and make your avatar react to the movie to show your buddys. You can applaud or stand up.

The only con of Netflix is the lack of new releases on the Xbox 360 Netflix. There should be more new releases to watch this way. Other than that issue it's the best way to watch movies...
...

I would highly recommend Netflix to anyone! I started using Netflix after I dropped my cable company because I was constantly getting ripped off, and charged more by them. I was so frustrated and was looking for something cheap, but with much variety for me to choose from. My husband told me about netflix so we went online and checked it out. I couldn't believe at how cheap it is, only $9 a month!!!! YOu are able to pick which shows, movies, sitcoms, and reality shows you want to watch. YOu can go online and add more shows or movies to your instant queue, or see what all they have available for you. NOt only are you able to watch whetever you want, when you want, but you also pick what new movies you want to have delievered TO YOU and in what order. You dont have to worry about going out, spending the gas, and money to rent movies, because it is included in your netflix subscription. I highly recommend this product to anyone!!
...

You can also give netflex as a gift to someone you pay for them month they get the movies if your friends or family like it they can join and you can trade movies with them. it is cheaper than block buster was .
...

now this is a high quality company. I usually recieve my movies within 1 day and the online service with over 40,000 movies is phenominal. I personally think the online feature is the best feature. For those of you with an Xbox 360 or a child that has one it can send from your comp to the game system the movies and you can watch them on the tv. All this for just 8.99 a month thats for the one out at a time plan and unlimited online viewing of the ever changing online system. now to me thats cheaper than renting and with the average person having a game system and a computer in their house anymore this is like a steal. I suggest everyone join you wont regret it .
...

I have been a subscriber of Netflx for about 4 years now. And I finally have completely given up on them. Half of the time, their new release movies are on "long" or "very long wait" and you don't receive them for a month or so. To me, that is poor service. They should expect a high demand of new release movies, and order more copies to keep members satisfied.

Other than that, I have never had any other problems with using the Netflix service. Their prices are reasonable, and movies are shipped/received quickly. (unless it a new release movie).

I just recenly switched to Blockbuster online. Same type of service, same price. Only difference is I am now receiving new release movies as soon as they come out. Bye Bye Netflix, forever!!
...

I participated in a trial membership of Netflix. I didn't realize all you get in comparison to comparable programs. Its $8.99 a month for a video at a time, so pretty much every other day, sometimes sooner, sometimes longer depending on how quickly the mail gets picked up and delivered. In addition to this, which would be enough for me, you can watch unlimited movies on demand via your computer. There is the option of a box to plug into your tv that costs $100 one time and you get to keep it forever, you would then have that on tv included in your $8.99 rate. But aside from that, which is enough for me, you get unlimited on demand videos on your computer every day all day if you want, as many as you like and a video by mail as much as you want, one at a time. You can queue videos and they will just come in succession in the mail. If they become available on demand, everything is not, but many films are, you can delete, and change the queue and watch it online. There are...
...
