I also see people selling there formula checks I WISH i could get some this product isnt all that great My daughter keeps spitting it up! Its suppose to help her fusiness but nothing!! I guess every child is different, The price is a little high Guess I could have went with the cheaper brand !?

My son tried three other kinds of formulas before we found Nestle Good Start Healthy Heart. He would constantly spit up everything until I started giving him Nestle. He never had another problem with spitting up his formula. The price is reasonable and the quality is good! I am no expert and I am a first time mom, but I can tell you that I had a wonder experience with this product and took a lot of the stress away.

nestle good start is a good product my son was a preemie he started on a special formula alamentum and was switched to this one at about six months the smell is so much nicer than the first and he is doing great on it gaining weight and hardly ever spits up he had acid reflux so i think it does everything the label says it does. such as the brain and eye health and easy to digest . i use the powder which is a lot cheaper that his first formula and as he is drinking a lot more now i can make it in a two quart pitcher and i dont spend as much time making bottles. neslte good start doesn't stain his clothes like some formulas do. nestle good start is also easy for on the go i just put formula and bottle in my bag and go. there are also a lot of coupons avaible for it . sign up on line with the company or do a search for baby sites they are every where.I would definately recommend this product to any new mother .

Good Start form Nestle is a great formula. My baby never suffered from colics or spit ups. With my oldest son I struggled to find a formula tha would not upset his stomach He cried after every feeding for the first tree months of his life. Its had to find a formula that is gentel in the stomach but with the additional vitimans for brain and eye development. I with I would have started my first son on Good Start from the begging like I did with my second. With my second child my feeding experiance has been compleatly different. Good Start was the fist formula I used and I have had a great experiance with it. I tried enfanmil lipid for about a week when he was about three weeks because a family member had given me a couple of cans of formula and I didn't want it to go to waste. But after about three days of using my son had gas and colics. I thought it might be my imagination so I still used if for about two more days but he only got worse so I went back to Good Start and...

I am a single mother with a decent job. I didn't qualify for any assistance so I was on my own paying for everything. When it was time to put my daughter on formula I tried Nestle Good Start formula because I received a coupon in the mail. When I went to the supermarket I couldn't believe how exspensive formaula was. I compared all the different nutrients to the more expesnsive formulas and they were exactly the same. They have so many different kinds to chose from. They even have a soy type. I asked my daughter's pediatrican and he agreed with me about my formula choice. he even told me that was the brand that his wife and him used for all four of his children. My daughter digested the formula without any problems. She rarely spit up. I did trying switching her to another formula because I was told it was better but she began to spit up. When I have more children I will always go back to Good Start. If you join their club on line they will send you coupons, which I love!!!

Our daughter was having trouble with diaper rash while taking aonther type of formula. She had to take the formula because we didn't have enough breast milk, and we tried a couple of brands of formula that would give her very bad diaper rash. She was conitually upset and had diagestive problems every day. Our doctor suggested Nestle Good Start and so we decided to try it. After trying it for only a few days our daughters' diaper rash was gone.

I have tried several formulas, and I love Nestle Good Start. The doctor did not recommend this formula, but I did my research on it anyway. I found that the first ingredient is whey, which is much easier for a baby's body to digest. We tried several other name brand formulas, and my child had severe reactions to all of them. She was hospitalized for one reaction. Other reactions included severe diaper rash, and bloody stools. Once we started using Good Start, she was a much happier baby. She was not as fussy, the diaper rash disappeared, and she seemed to tolerate it well. I just had my second child, and we went throught the same problems. We went through several of the major brands, and had no luck. I avioded Good Start this time because the doctor wanted to try some of the other brands with which he was familiar. Finally, I went against my doctors recommendations, and tried Good Start. It was a great success once again! I highly recommend this formula to all...

When my daughter was first born I breastfet for a few months. When that was finished, I wanted to give her the best formula on the market. Money was no object, just her well-being. So, I started (as naive as I could be) with the most expensive formula I could find. She hated it and was gassy and spit it up all of the time. I then tried the next to the most expensive one; and I got the same reactions. I couldn't understand what the problem was, after all, she was getting the best of the best. I then took her to her pediatrician who suggested I try Nestle's Good Start. I was shocked, I even mentioned to him, isn't that a really cheap formula. He replied back with a yes, but also a very good, unnoticed formula. So, I went to the store and tried it that evening. It was like magic. It worked wonders on her. It was like night and day. She took to that formula like no other. Plus, I saved a ton of money. I am so thankful I wasn't closeminded enough not to try it. ...

Pediatrician recommended Nestle Carnation Good Start when our baby was a few months old to supplement breast milk. Our baby was premature as well. Our baby tolerated this formula well and could switch back and forth from breast milk. Average price on formula scale, but could find coupons on Nestle's website. Be careful, some formulas can cause constipation. This one didn't seem to cause any problems for our family.

Nestle Good Start Soy formula is wonderful. This is the only formula my son was able to use. He suffered from GERD (gastro esphogieal refulx disorder) and he aslo suffered from sleep apnea. When we orignally took him to the doctor we thought he was colic. So the doctor did some tests and was able to tell us that the milk based formula causes a lot of acid refulx. we switched to the Godd Start Soy and he has been fine ever since. It also helped minimize his gas and fussiness. I was not to keen on the smell in the begining but i got used to it. Its not a bad smell...just a little different from the milk based. The only other disadvantage to this product is that it stains. so make sure you use bibs. But i highly recomend Nestle Good Start Soy to any parent who has a fussy child. This has helped calm my sons stomach, assisted with curing his GERD, and also helped us get some sleep at night!

My son was born a month early, and for many reasons, including lack of knowledge, breastfeeding didn't work out. We started him on Enfamil Lipil. We eventually switched him to Similac Advance due to the doctor's reccomendation. He continued on Similac for about three months, and while he finally began gaining weight well, he was having a lot of problems with gassiness and constipation. His doctor thought it would pass within a few weeks, and when it didn't, he told me to try Nestle Good Start. Within two days of starting the Good Start, it was like having a different child! We no longer had to give him gas drops, he was able to eat more than two ounces at a sitting (he would projectile vomit with the Similac), and his constipation cleared up! It made me so happy to see that he was no longer in pain - it always broke my heart to see his tummy hurt so bad after he ate with the other formulas. I've heard negative things about the Nestle company, which of course disappoints me, but I have to...

I love Nestle's Good Start! My son was born September 7, 2008. I was breast feeding, but the problem is he had jaundice. The jaundice caused me to have to have to use formula with the breast feeding. My son did not like similac. He would sip it out and wanted nothing to do with it. My sister-in-law Maria told me that she had the same problem with her oldest son Marc. She said that she feed Nestle's Good start in a powder form to her son and he liked it. She said that it was more like breast milk. She told me to try it with nursery water. I have to say that my son took to it right away. He gained weight and I could still breast feed. I stooped breast feeding at four months and he is now eight months old and twenty pounds. The doctor says he is the picture of health and very strong. I really believe that Nestle's Good Start has helped to make him the health happy boy he is today.

We were given a sample of Nestle Good Start formula, and I was glad that we had not spent money on it in the store. Normally we use Enfamil, and we will be going back to it soon.

When I opened the can of Nestle Good Start the first thing I noticed is the scoop was longer, and still in a mold. I had to unsap the spoon and it in turn made formula spill out onto our kitchen table. If I had bought the can I would have been mad to see some of my money on the table simply by trying to get at the scoop. The scoop was also longer than other brands. The handle was short, but the scoop itself was deep. It made me scoop several times to fill the scoop enough each time.

I also found that the formula did not mix well. I had to shake the bottle quite a bit in order to get the formula to mix fully. The first time there were chunks of formula that did not mix in the water, and it takes quite a bit of shaking to make sure it doesn't happen again.
