I've heard Feline is a big company and the product is good, but I never try it because it's much more expensive than the other brand, ExcuisiCat. My two little kitten was using ExcuisiCat Pine Litter and it was really good.I started to use this Feline Pine Litter because one of my friends' cat doesn't like it. She tried to get rid of it and I was happy to give her a hand. I heard that I should replace the litter little by little in case kittens couldn't be use to the new smell, but I was too busy to do that. So I just pured about 50% new litter to match the old one. I noticed that Feline Pine Litter looks harder and firmer that the old one. And after few days, it seemed much durable and didn't crush easily. As to the smell, it doesn't smell if kittens remember to cover their drops. But there's no big difference between Feline and ExcuisiCat in this area. Overall, it might be more durable than ExquisiCat, but it's also much more expensive.
...

Trying to be more healthy with my cats, I tried Feline Pine, and continue to use it in one out of three boxes. So here's the scoop, (no pun intended) some cats don't like it because when you first put it in the litter box, it is in the form of little wooden pellets that resemble large rabbit food pellets. These probably bother their paws. My three adult cats use it just fine, and the funny thing is that to start with, they will only urinate in that box. Once the urine hits the pellets, the pellets expand and turn into a saw dust like material. Once most of the box turns into this state then they will elimiate feces, and use the saw dust to cover it up. I get a large bag at walmart for $9.99 and that last almost a month (keep in mind I have two other boxes, so its about one large bag month per cat). The key is not to use too much at first, because in its sawdust state it expands and then its like a sandbox and gets everywhere. I like that it is all natural (they suggest...
...

I usually use tidy cats but when I got my cat Jezebel fixed and declawed the vet told me she could not use regular cat litter since it would get in the bandages and infect the incisions. So she recommended either I use this product or shredded newspaper. I opted to use this even though it's a bit pricey I didn't want anything happening to her. It says your not supposed to use much and it works pretty well considering what its made out of. The only problem I had was because they're pellet shaped the cat urine would a lot of the time seep through ad get to the bottom. A for a regular everyday use of cat litter I would not recommend it, but for a replacement for your cat to use until any bandages are off or cuts are healed this would work just fine. Especially in comparison to using newspaper instead....

I use Feline Pine for my cat. The convienience comes when, because it is biodegradable, I can simply flush any cat-leavings, and when it needs to be changed I can toss the old stuff in the yard instead of in the trash. It also controls odor with a nice pine-wood smell instead of that cat-litter smell that others have. Thank you!...
I've used this litter for over a year in a small-ish apartment with 2 cats that share a litter box. Cats seem happy with it and enjoy digging through it (the pellets make a lot of noise when swished around in the litter box). I really like that it's eco-friendly but not crazy-expensive, and it has a nice pine scent. You can "refresh" the scent by shaking the box a little. BUT I have found it somewhat inconvenient to clean up. The large pellets are hard to scoop--you end up throwing out a lot of clean pellets with the poop. There's no good way to remove urine. The pellets turn into moist powder when wet, and that means urine just sort of stays in the litter box until you change the whole thing. In my experience, this litter does not hide odor as well as everyone seems to think, unless you're changing it completely every 3 days, which can get expensive. Also, I've found that the powder, once dry, often ends up on the floor just like clay litters. A more serious warning: I originally thought......

Although I really liked this litter, and spent several months trying, our cat did not. I followed the directions to get her to like it, introducing it gradually to her by slowly changing over from the clay litter to the pine. When we were completely changed over, I noticed that although she was still using the litter box for BMs, she was urinating beside the litter box, and on the basement floor. When we changed back to clay, problem solved. I'm sure this works well for some, but be aware that not all cats like it....

This is a great cat litter for anyone who is environmentally aware and who has problems with other cat litters. For one, this litter does not kick up dust, it's dust free! It has a nice woody smell and not as strong an odor as traditional litters. The litter is a wood press pellet that is made from renewable Southern Yellow Pine. It is 100% natural (no chemicals!) and you won't have to worry about your pet cleaning themselves and ingesting toxic chemicals. The pine naturally neutralizes ammonia and the pellets fully absorbs liquid, keeps boxes drier and minimized chance of bacteria. And yes, Feline Pine is environmentally friendly because it's renewable and biodegradable.

The wood pellets break down (here's how). The pellets turn into saw dust when it soaks up the urine. It then falls to the bottom of the litter box. Just move the pellets aside and scoop up the sawdust. Scoops don't work so well on the sawdust as it is small particles and will fall through. A sifter box that...
...
