I have five Labradors and every one of them loves Natural Balance. The oldest dog (3 years) has every allergy you can think of, but this food has helped him. He also has hip displasia, is a finicky eater, and on a few medications. But when it's time to eat he'll have the food gone in less than two minutes and he stops his scratching and biting! It's amazing! This food really works, I know because we had to change his food many times to get something he'll eat, he's not allergic to, and will provide him with nutrients. I love this food and I would recommend it to any pet owner with finicky dogs and allergies.

The best part is that's it's located at PetCo and PetSmart! Coupons are also available to members!
...

I have 9 cats and 1 dog. They all eat Natural Balance foods. It has helped them all in so many ways. It helps to maintain a healthy weight. Give them a abundance of energy for a happy and healthy lifestyle. It helps to clean their teeth. They are shedding less. And it does not smell as much when they go to the bathroom. It is all natural and all good. If I ever needed too, a natural disaster or what have you, I would have full and complete faith, and eat their food, because I know that it is safe and good for you. Let's hope it never comes to that though. I enjoy my people food :) I reccomend Natural Balance to everyone I know that has pets though. There is nothing better. NOTHING!

After giving my Grandmothers eldest dog Missy Natural Balance food, her coat came back, she was healthier, had more energy, and she got a couple more enjoyable months out of her life. She was doing horribly before feeding her NB.
...

This is a great food, especially for dogs with sensitive allergies. Our dog was on it until recently. He was still chewing on his paws (no longer think it's allergies) and gaining weight so he's back on NB Reduced Fat version for now. But, for dogs with sensitive allergies to wheat and other grains, this is probably the least expensive allergy dog food out there. ...

Rawkhouse says "All natural allergy food for dogs." about Natural Balance Duck & Potato

We got our very first dog for Christmas, a 4 year old Siberian Husky, through a rescue organization. She had been eating an inexpensive food when we got her, and following the advice of our trainer, we purchased Natural Balance Ultra Premium. She really liked the food, but she continued to have intestinal issues. After several visits to our regular vet with no successful treatment, we saw a specialist. The tests seemed to point to a food allergy, so we switched her to the Natural Balance Duck and Potato allergy formula. She's been on it for a couple of months now and her digestive issues have all but disappeared. She eats the wet food and the kibble and loves them both....

My two goldens are both rescues and when I adopted them, their coats were somewhat short and thin. Since I began feeding them Natural Balance Potato and Duck dry dog food, their coats have grown and are full to say the least. The oldest golden had allergies but the scratching has reduced significantly since I switched from a commercial brand to Natural Balance. ...

I use this for all my foster dogs. I never know what they have been eating at the shelter and this is a great choice as I can feed it to young or older Labs. Plus the adopter may not live in my city and this is sold in the "regular" pet stores nationally. The company also offers email updates and coupons! ...

slillie says "Perfect for allergy prone dogs" about Natural Balance Duck & Potato

Natural Balance was recomended to me by fellow volunteers at Arizona Cocker Rescue (www.azcockerrescue.org) for my cocker spaneil who is allergic to chicken and rice. It is a great food. He stopped itching and he does not need daily benadryl now. Best of all he loves this food.

The food is concentrated so at first I was feeding him the regular amount and he put on weight. Now that I adjusted his feeding amount he has not gained any more weight.

While it is expensive you feed less so it lasts longer. (also less to clean up in the back yard!) They have coupons available if you ask and Petco has the buy 10 and get 1 bag free program for PALS members (free program).
...
