AWESOMEMOM88 says "It is a great treat, but too pricey for an entire diet." about Natural Balance Dog Food Rolls

I primarily use this product as training reward/treat and in the show ring to bait and keep the animal's attention. It is simply too costly a product for everyday use especially with larger animals. My dogs eat it enthusiastically, but I am not sure if that is because it is a treat and they don't get it every day. The ingredients are high quality and there aren't alot of fillers and chemicals to aggravate allergies and sensitivities. You have a variety of flavor combos to choose from, but I usually stick with either the venison or lamb versions. It is somewhat of a pain to have to cut it up into portions and it does have to be refrigerated once the wrap is broken and you have taken some to use. Once open, the shelf life is about the same as human cold cuts, and be careful, my teenager grabbed it and made a sandwich out of it without realizing that it wasn't salami....he survived, and the dogs are speaking to him again....

this is a great product. you just cut off the amount you need so there is no waste. Also it is more economical than canned food. I have a maltese,so this really lasts a long tme. She is a diabetic, so I have to feed her all natural. Most she does not like, so I was happy to find these rolls....

Moldeetoes says "Great for sensitive dogs" about Natural Balance Dog Food Rolls

My dog is incredibly sensitive (not her feelings). She is very allergic to everything. She is allergic to most dog shampoos, household cleaners, and most dog foods. Now, the everyday Wal-Mart, Target dog food makes her vomit. So, my vet recommended some very expenseive dog food that is made specifically for sensitive dogs. Well, downside to these dog foods is that, to begin, they are pricey, my dog doesn't enjoy them, and they give her really bad breath. Then, one day, my dog and I were at the local pet store, and she kept sniffing around the Natural Balance Rolls - I couldn't keep her away from them. So, I read the label, was a little impressed, and then I decided to buy a roll. She loves them. They are really a great treat for her...and she doesn't vomit. ...

I do not use this product as dog food that is fed regularly. I use it as a treat. Since it comes in a "tube" like shape, I cut it up into slices and put it in a baggie in the fridge so it is always ready. It has good ingredients and smells good. My dog loves it and like it because it is not soft food but it is also not dry food. ...

Kestrelle says "Dog's love it - even picky eaters. " about Natural Balance Dog Food Rolls

The Natural Balance rolls have to be one of the best, most versatile feeds out there on the market. Not only are they a true dog food (not full of sugars and preservatives) but they can easily act as a training treat as well. If you have a dog who is a little finicky and doesn't want to eat, try grating some of the roll on top of their regular food - it doesn't take much, and then the pieces are so small the dog can't pick around them. If you have a dog who won't hold weight no matter how much dry food or canned food you stuff into him, try supplementing with the rolls. I have been in the pet industry for over 20 years, and I have never seen a product that is so universally accepted by dogs. Unless they are very nervous and scared, they don't turn this stuff down! I'm certain that the Natural Balance rolls saved my German Shorthair's life. When I first rescued him, he was literally skin and bones. Very high energy, very nervous and pretty much obsessive. The Natural Balance rolls helped...
...

I buy Natural Balance products because of the quality ingredients that they use. They also do not do any animal testing, which is important to me. I add this product shredded to my dogs' regular Natural Balance kibble. They love it. In small pieces, it also makes an excellent treat....

This is a fantastic product to use for clicker training. Simply cut into 1/4 inch size pieces and use as a food reward. Whatever isn't used from the roll can be frozen and even cuts up well while still frozen. A great way to give your dog a food reward that they will love that is actually healthy for them since it's actually food, not treats. Simply subtract volume of Natural Balance used in a training session from the food bowl to avoid an obese dog....

I have very picky dogs - and I can almost guarantee I can get my dogs to eat something when I put this product in their dish. My dogs will sometime go days of not eating - but I can always count on this product to get them to come around and eat!

It can be used as a treat - to hide pills - as a plain food itself or added to dry - whatever your need is - it can fit the senerio.

three flavors - beef , turkey and lamb.

looks like a summer sausage roll and the beef flavor sorta smells like it also.

A good product - just wished it didn't have wheat in it.

...
