I am not saying they're cheap, but I think overall Nationwide has treated well. I have insured my cars, trailer, home, and I'm paying a reasonable price for it....

Nationwide Auto Insurance Company is the laziest company I have ever come across. I had auto insurance with them for two months, when they asked me to provide 6 months proof of insurance before I signed up with them. I faxed the info from the previous ins co I had ins with. They informed me that I was short 3 days of prior proof. I called Safe Auto and the man on the phone faxed the info to Nationwide while I was on the phone with him. I called Nationwide and told them that the info had been faxed from Safe Auto. The next thing I heard from Nationwide was a cancellation letter saying that I never gave them proof of the 3 days insurance coverage. I am livid. Someone should have called me the next day and told me they could not find the fax that was sent to them. I will never use Nationwide ever again. I implore you to never use them. They are lazy and haphazard in their customer relations. I believe that insurance companies should be responsible for obtaining proof of insurance coverage...

i have been in six car accidents (i was not at fault). but thet have not fougt for me to get lost wages, future medical bills, & pain and suffering. the ajuster talk to my lawyer after the dedopistion. then he left nationwide. i had to use my inheritance from both my parents just to keep afloat. now years latter, i am just about broke, and has harm to my marriage. the did not follow up. thet so uncaring to , it seemed they just wanted to rid of me. now, at the 6th accident, all i fell is pressure to get too much done on their time schueld, they cannot get this down as fast as they want. so they keep pressure just to close the case. it has not even 1(one) year yet. i didnot kmow i had to sue my own insuace company. to get them to up for underinsure. but too late. i feel they just wanted thier money. they do not seem to care about me. it jst makes me cry. and wonder how many others they did this to.

I have been with this Insurance agency for 10 years now. I had 3 no-fault accidents within a few months of each other and Nationwide was there for me through all of them. They even paid me when I was injured as a passenger in my own car....

Recently I was hit by a nationwide insurance client and let me tell you what a joke of a company they are. The first claims adjuster found 3000 in damages Rental - wouldnt pay, health care- wouldnt pay, 2nd adjuster found 12,000 in damages AFTER A PHONE CALL FROM AN ATTORNEY THEY decided to pay for the rental and fix my brand new car they way it was. However this took almost 3 months to get my car back.

I have Nationwide.I had a problem with my car insurance renewal.I have been with them for years so when renewal time came they forgot to give me a buz.I paid thinking things was ok then I got a letter from the DMV stating I had no insurance and I did.I ended up sending them a letter to no avail paid a $100 fine not once bu then again twice so it made me really mad and the Tag office did not care if I had proof or not tag renewal time I was screwed.Stayed with them but told them if this ever happened again then I was never coming back as a client.So far so good we will see....
