r3b3lg1rl says "Burn Baby B-U-R-N!" about Nair Shower Power

Nair Shower Power. The amazing cream that removes your unwanted leg hair (and skin) even as you shower and keeps your legs smooth for....a few hours? It took 3/4 of the bottle to do two legs, and then on top of that it BURNED! I am not a "sensitive" type person! I don't burn/itch/sting/have reactions to or from products, including other Nair products. But this...oh...this killed me. It burned while I was in the shower, well after the shower, and now, two days later, I have this horrible painful razor burn type rash on my lower legs (only!). Keep in mind I used it on all parts of my legs. *Sigh*....

I thought it sounded too good to be true, and in my case, I was right. It irritated my skin and I didn't think it did a good job. It took some hair off, but still wanted to shave with a razor because my legs did not feel smooth. And it smells bad, too! I didn't even use the entire container and was glad to go back to my old triple blade razor. ...

aef3482 says "Works adequately if you're not in the mood to shave" about Nair Shower Power

I love Nair Shower Power Hair Remover! Sometimes I just don't feel like messing with using shaving cream and a razor. Nair Shower Power removes all of the hair and doesn't sting or burn my legs like other hair removers (even shaving) do sometimes. I usually leave it on for six to eight minutes, a bit longer than the recommended time. It's thick enough that it is not supposed to come off in the shower, but I usually step back away from the direct spray while I have it on. The smell is tolerable; not hideous like past hair removers but not wonderful either. Overall, it does what it says it will do. I recommend it!...

kle0686 says "Nair Shower Power burns, with no results." about Nair Shower Power

Nair is a name that I have always known. I have tried a few of their products over the years and have never been completely satisfied. So when I first saw the Shower Power I was not expecting much. I tried it when it first came out and didn't like it. I don't like to throw things away so I hung onto it. My husband and I moved into a small apartment with a small shower a few months ago and it is hard to move around in it. I just tried the Nair shower cream again and am more disappointed than ever.

The directions on the bottle say that you should apply a generous amount of cream to legs, leave on for at least 3 min, and wash off with water. It says it "works while you shower".

The first time I tried the product, I followed the directions exactly. I put on the cream, got in the shower and took it off at the end of the shower. When I went to take off the product, I realized it was harder than I thought it was going to be. It took me a good 3 minutes at the end of my shower to take the rest...
...

Michelleosu says "doesn't live up to expectations" about Nair Shower Power

When I saw an ad for this product I had high hopes. Apply it before you shower, stays on while you shower and then just sponge away the hair sounds too good to be true, and it was.

This product did not save me time like I had hoped. It also only lasted for one application. I followed the directions and About half of the product did not stay on in the shower, the sponge did not work that well and by the time I had removed the cream, I still had to shave. Very disappointed. Will not buy again!
...
