These are pretty bad. They are nothing like an Oreo and they are way too sweet. And not a good sweet. A fake sweet with an odd aftertaste. Will never buy again In fact if I got them free I wouldn't eat them....

PiratesLife4Me says "Cakesters good chocolate fix, but not as fun as original Oreos" about Nabisco - Oreo Cakester

I'll eat just about anything chocolate, provided it has a coma-inducing amount of sugar in it (none of that pure, healthy, dark chocolate nonsense, please). So naturally, Oreos have long been one of my favorite foods, and I've enjoyed the endless variations that populate the grocery store shelves: peanut butter Oreos, double stuffed Oreos, pastel colored Easter Oreos. I bought a box of Oreo Cakesters the first time I saw them, and they now make a semi-regular appearance on the grocery list. They're good. Much better than most of the cakelike individually wrapped treats I've tried. I'd probably absolutely love them, except for one teeny problem... they're not really Oreos. There's nothing wrong with them - they taste delicious. But they just don't have the charm (or texture, or flavor) of the original, and I learned from personal experience they're not meant to be taken apart, licked clean of their frosting, and dipped in a glass of cold milk. Sad day.

Oh, and in my...
...

Oreo Cakesters are not worth the calories. Why not just eat regular oreos...They are pretty much the same price anyway, and you get more for your money. I don't feel totally satisfied after eating a cakester. It only makes me feel like I wasted my time....

This is not one of Nabisco's better products. In my opinion they are so very dry and greasy tasting. I love Oreo's but they are soft cakes of dry. I let my kids try them and they both agreed too dry mom. I even thought they may have only been that type so found the new Nilla wafers ones sad to say also too dry.

I now finally know why they always say Oreo's are a dunking cookie.
...

These Oreo Cakesters are soooo delicious!! I was not expecting them to taste like an Oreo, being they are Cakesters, and Oreos are Cookies. They are soft and the cream filling inside is so good. Don't get me wrong they are not even close to an original Oreo, but are great if you looking for a change. I have recently changed my eating habits and are no longer eating sweets. I bought some of these Oreo Cakesters the other day for the hubby and kids, and every time I open the pantry I could kick myself in the butt. Just to see the box sitting there is so tempting. Oh well, once I get to the point where I have my weight maintained, this will be one of the first things I have to give myself a reward once in a while!!! The only down side is that they are a bit pricey, and thhey seem to go really quick. But also worth it for a special treat every so often!!!...

I tried the vanilla ones first.

These were really great. Sure they are sweet, and pretty fattening, but if your a guy that can eat what he wants, and keep skinny, then try them out, they are pretty good.

I wouldnt recommend this for people trying to lose weight or have trouble keeping the LB's off. But they are definitly delicious...

FAT PEOPLE BE WARNED : TRY TO EAT JUST ONE OF THESE A DAY ... i dont understand how you people can eat a cake.. then be hungry for mcdonalds ..

anyway

If you want tsomething to compare these cakes too, they are like the limited Starbuck Vanilla Cupcakes that were discontinued ( for whatever reason ) .. they were the bestselling thing AT starbucks .. ( my girlfriend works there ) .

anyway, if you like cake and you like vanilla frosting ... they are nice treats..

they are not cookies.. they are cakes...
...

I hate to say it but they just were'nt very good. They don't even tast like Oreo's, which I love. It's as if they didn't even try. They are bland and almost tasteless. I am very disappointed. I have been eating Oreo's for my whole life and I cant believe that this product is even selling. They are much too expensive to be worth the extra flab that I have to put on to eat them....

I had heard negative thing about the cakesters. This of course meant that I had to try them for myself. They were really rather good. As the name states is like a cake stand which. My only complaint would have to be that there could have been a bit more frosting, but I am a huge frosting fan. The texture was fun and the cake was light and fluffy. It wont be something that I eat all the time but it is a nice change of pace snack....

I tried them and I know they are not the cookie, but they looked simular to a whoopie pie.

I thought I will try anything once and gave it a shot, I was very disapointed.

The cake portion wasvery dry and needed a little more sweet flavor.

I am glad I got an individual sized package because after one bite I threw the rest away.
...
