My top 15 movies that I love and have watched a million and will watch a million times more are:

1. Urban Cowboy (John Travolta)

2. Notebook

3. Dirty Dancing (Patrick Swayze)

4. Gladiator (Russell Crow and Joaquin Phoenix)

5. Grease (John Travolta)

6. A Christmas Story (hillarious)

7. About Last Night (Demi Moore and Rob Lowe)

8. Dancing With Wolves

9. Foxes (Jodi Foster)

10. Little Darlings (Kristie McNichol)

11. Fatal Attraction

12. Saturday Night Live

13. Dace Fever

14. Valley Girl (Nicholas Cage)

15. Brave Heart

Those are al the movies I love and will watch a million times more. Whenever they are on regular television, I always stop and watch. I can't help it. I love movies and will always be a couch potatoe. HA.......... My kids love movies too, but we have to watch G and PG with them. I highly recommend all the movies and rent them at your rental store. They should have all of them. They aren't that old. HEE HEE........

It's hard to begin, there have been so many great movies. Many have been commercially successful, others have gotten rave reviews and numerous awards along the way. Most were well deserved, either for the actors or the movie itself. At least one of these choices was snubbed, though I can fathom why. But there is an intangible quantity that makes any particular movie special to each of us as individuals.

In no particular order, these are the movies I cherish most:

1. The Shawshank Redemption; 2. Star Wars, Episode IV; 3. Star Wars, Episode V; 4. Star Wars, Episode VI; 5. Saving Private Ryan; 6. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring; 7. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers; 8. The Lord of the Ring: The Return of the King; 9. E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial; 10, Forrest Gump; 11. Jurassic Park; 12. Dances with Wolves; 13. The Terminator; 14. Terminator 2; 15. Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

I can already see a common thread...

My top 15 movies is going to be an interesting subject because when i started this I have no ideas as to which ones I am going to pick. Being a movie addict this could be a very difficult selection but here it goes.....( in no specific order)

"Grease" this is one of our family's all time favorites the combination of music and comedy is a delight for all.

"Mama Mia" this was a very funny interesting film that I immediately fell in love and even my husband enjoys it and watches it over and over. Though the daughter did not care for it....probably because she didn't grow up during the Abba generation as we did.

"Major League" the underdog baseball movie where they win just to spite the new own starring Charlie Sheen and Tom Berenger is always a good one.

"Miss Congeniality" The way Sandra Bullock acts as an FBI agent is classic and taking her from "agent" to "beauty queen" is very entertaining every time.

"7 brides for 7 brothers" this is an old classical musical that is very funny...

Ever sine I was born I was in front of a tv. When I was 3 I enjoyed watching with my mom, Diane Keaton's Baby Boom. When I was 6 I sat in a crowed movie theater falling in love with James Cameron's Titanic. Movies have always been apart of my life. I learned how to sream to the top of my lungs from Diane Keaton in The First Wives Club. lol So now its time to place in my review and say what my top favorite movies are. Where shall I begin but with non other than Titanic. I know im a girl, of course I love Titanic but cmon the story, the acting, score, visual effects, the costume. Everything from the movie Titanic is brilliant. James Cameron created a true masterpiece! My next film choice I would say is Chicago. I must have been maybe 13 or 14 when I saw this movie. never even heard of the musical before and I had not one clue of what the plot was about but I remember coming out of the theater in love with Chicago. i wanted the movie album soooo bad after watching it. So it seems everyone has a list of movies that they feel are the best, well guess what so do I! Some may agree with some of my choices others may not, I guess thats why they keep making more and more movies of every type to keep all of us happy huh? I tend ot be an 80's girl and love the movies from my chidhood. So here goes my list in no particular order:

1. Clerks (directed by Kevin Smith) love it for its simplicity, love it for its sheer stupidity (which is so rare for me to love a movie like this, I acutally LOVE LOVE LOVE all of Kevin Smith's movies)

2. Slingblade, who can ever forget Billy Bob Thornton?

3 Footloose No Dancing allowed? I will forever be in love with Kevin Bacon

4. The Goonies-- I am a Goonie and just wanna have fun

5. The Replacements - for many reasons this movie is sooo funny if you have not seen it go rent it

6. Coming to America- I love Eddie Murphy, what happened to him being funny?

7. The Blues Brothers- Orange Whip?

8. Ghostbusters is always a classic

I am like this guy, if the movie makes me forget what lies outside the theater doors for as long as it is playing, then I am a happy camper. If not, then believe you me, I am going to let everyone I know how terrible I thought the movie was. I'm al;so going to be honest with ya when I tell you abou tthe movie. Did it make me laugh? Why? Did it make me cry? Also why? Was I scared at all during the move? How did it make me feel? All this and more I'm going to tell you when I tell you about a movie. Just like this guy.

1. If you want a great love story, it HAS to be Bram Stoker's Dracula, it is the greatest love story EVER made. The actors are awesome, the story is timeless and even Drac made me fall in love all over again.

2. The Wedding Singer-how can you not fall for Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore? Adam with his amazing voice and Drew with her quirkiness that is so endearing. Again, made me belive that nice guys definately finish best.

3. The Shawshank Redempition-Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman tell the tale of a budding relationship in the worst of all conditions. The hope that is given throughout the movie, the remarkable lines like "get busy living, or get busy trying". And who can resist Morgan Freeman's narration.

4. Million Dollar Baby-Again, on of Morgan Freeman's finest hours. Great narration, keeps you thinking about not only the fight this girl has, but the emotions of all involved. Won't give away the ending, but it is a powerful, lovely movie that keeps you thinking long...

My favorite movie that I can watch over and over is...White Chicks! This movie so so halirious, I cannot help but to wach it! These guys are great! No matter what mood I'm in, this movie always lifts me up! I already can't tell you how many times I'v watched this movie! I'm sure I will watch it again and again. I can't even name just one great thing about it, because the whole entire movie is so great!

Next, I would have to say The City of Angels would be my next favorite. This movie touches the soul. It really gives you something to think about. The story leaves you happy, but sad. It gives you hope and leaves you believing in miricles.

Another oldie but absolute goody is Message in a Bottle. Kevin Cosner is the best actor. All of his movies are awesome. But, this movie really touches the heart! I love romantic movies, and this one has such a great story to it, I can truly watch this one over and over again too.

My top 10 all time favorite movies would have to be 1) Gone With the Wind, 2) There's Something About Mary, 3) The Holiday, 4) The Sound of Music, 5) The Sixth Sense, 6) Practical Magic, 7) Titanic, 8) The Pursuit of Happyness, 9) Atonement, 10) The Chronicles of Narnia--The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe. I like each one of them for completely different reasons. Gone With the Wind--well who can resist a historical movie with fabulous costumes and beautiful actors (please look at George Clooney in Oh Brother Where Art Thou and tell me he doesn't look just like Clark Gable--he could so play him in an updated remake!)? There's Something About Mary--too many funny moments to count. I think my favorite would have to be the zipper scene! The Holiday--Jude Law--"horrible weeper" and "Mr. Napkin Head" and Jack Black and his "scroodledy dooo"--perfectly paired up couples make you really want to be there--and that cottage in Surrey is pretty fabulous too! The Sound of Music--ahhh...young...

I love favorites lists because they make no sense. They make no sense because they are based on what a person likes not what the critic thinks is good. Why we like something sometimes makes no sense at all. I have been a list maker for many years and the lists change all the time A movies comes along that disrupts the list and forces change. Here is the list for 8-3-09. Most of the titles have been on my list of 25 favorite movies for some time. Now to cut my list to 15 by eliminating 10 of my favorites.

1) The Thin Man: A great read and a great movie. William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles. A detective story that is as light and fun today as it was the year it came out. My mom was a kid when this hit the theatres the first time but it is jusyt as good today. A story with a plot not 2 hours of action. Make sure you watch it as it was make, in B&W.

2) The Maltese Falcon: Bogart at his best and a great supporting cast. Mary Astor, Sidney Greenstreet, and Peter Lorre. Film...

Hollywood is known for its good and its bad. It's a place one can go and escape the troubles of the world for a few hours Following is a list of the 15 movies that I know fully well I can watch over and over again; Not in chronological order or years or importance. It is just a set of movies that I fell in love with and consider them favorites. For the most part, I ran into these movies via cable tv; some I saw once they came out, some I just took a chance on. Hopefully you will too.

1.Now, Voyager(1942)- I dont know about you, but seeing Bette Davis go from a straight up ugly duckling to a swan in the space of thirty minutes in quite interesting to watch. A soaper about a woman under her domineering mother's thumb so bad that she has a nervous breakdown and is sent to a rehabilitation center to recover. Once out of the woods, she is sent on a cruise where she meets and falls in love with the very married Paul Henried. In spite of it, they know they cannot be together and enjoy what they...

i am a mother of 2 little ones that i love to spend movie time with.the most famous movie in my house is cinderella that is a priceless classic my 3yr old has seen this movie so many times she knows every word that the characters say. Now on a little boys perspective my son likes the bedtime stories a perfect combination of fairytails and humor it was great.

Now when it comes to me i take the movie Twilight!!!!!! i know the thought of vampires is a little childish but.... it is the perfect combination of fairytale mixed with romance the best movie ever!!!!
