This cd is full of intense lyrics and great fashioned rock and roll. There are a variety of styles in this cd including punk, alternative, hardcore, and emo. The best song of the album by far is "Welcome to the black parade". This song is totally mind blowing. It goes deeper than ever as far as emotions and pushes the limits on what is deemed "acceptable" by society. At the same time it relays the message of what is really important in life,  which is the bonds with people and life itself is a "treasure". All be it, an acquired taste, this album is definately worth the money and the time spent listening. </p>... I had heard all the negative talk and was a bit weary. Even with this, I fell in love. I was surprised. Most of the songs on the album are very likable. I recommend this if you generally like rock.
