apricotale says "Great for babies that can sit" about Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub

I love this bath tub! We started using this for my 6 month old once he was able to sit on his own. It's nice because you don't have to worry about the baby bumping into the side of the bathtub and gives baby enough room to splash and play. Also, you don't have to waste a lot of water like you would if you had to fill the bath tub up a quarter of the way. The squeaker on the beak is cute, but not very convienent for the baby to play with. There is also a "hot/cold" sensor on the bottom of the duck tub that senses when the water is too hot by turning blue. We used this tub for our first baby up until about the age of 24 months, then it became too small. Once we had our second baby, we didn't use it at all since it was easier to bathe both kids at once in the bath tub. For the cost, I would say it's definitly worth it for a first time parent. On the downside, it can get a little gross on the bottom (in between the creases) if not washed and dried well after each use.
...

Eulaha says "Mommy loved the Munchkin Duck tub, but baby had a fit!" about Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub

I thought for sure that my daughter (10 months old at the time) would love the Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub. She was still taking baths in the sink and I felt it was time to transition her to the bath tub (notice how I said it was ME that thought it was time...). I blew the little tub up (took me a long time, and left my lungs hurting), and I filled it with warm water, baby wash and a few of her familiar bath toys. As soon as I lowered my daughter into it, she screamed like a banshee!! She grabbed onto me and wouldn't let go until I lifted her out of the tub. I tried a couple more times, but no go. I finally put the tub in storage, and at 16 months, she is still bathing in the kitchen sink (believe it or not, she can still sit quite comfortably).

The tub itself is very nice. I like the duck sounds that come from pressing on the duck bill. I'm starting to wonder if it was the duck sounds that freaked her out...?

All in all, it's a nice little tub at at affordable price....
...

MRSverret says "Fun for bath time" about Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub

Originally,I purchased the Munchkin Hot Safety Tub especially for on the go. It would be too much of a hassle to have a baby bath tub everywhere he went. But once my son used it once, he wanted his duck tub all the time!

For around $10 you get a giant yellow, inflatable duck tub. The recommended age is 6 -24 months and babies must be able to sit unassisted. My son has already outgrown this and he's 17 months.

The Munchkin Hot Safety Bath Tub comes equipped with a hot sensor on the bottom to let you know when the water is too hot. And when you press his beak, he gives out a loud "quack, quack!". On the bottom is a large suction cup so when you're finished bathing your little one just stick it onto the bath tub wall and let it dry. If you need it for on the go just fold it up once it's deflated.

To inflate it is rather easy and doesn't take too much time. Once it's blown up the duck becomes the perfect place for bath time. Because it's inflatable, it provides a soft and comfortable...
...

OKay, so we had this duck tub for my first son and I think my husband had more fun making it quack than my son did sitting in it! While it scared my son half the time and intrigued him other times he never really got past the eyes on it. It really only works for little babies who by the time they learn how to squeeze the beak to make it quack, are too big to be in it... If they were going to make this for little kids they should have thought of keeping the little one entertained instead of mom and dad. (I was never too fond of it myself)!...

This is super cute, and I got a ton of duck stuff at my baby shower because ducks were kinda my "thing." But...

I may have waited to long to use it, because I put my 11 month old son in it the other day and he SCREAMED BLOODY MURDER as soon as he touched it!

I like it. I think it's cute. The baby... not so much.

I'm thinking of sanitizing the thing and putting it on Craigslist, because it's still in perfect shape.

Ad could read;
"Barely bumped by my baby's bum."

Great features:
It's very soft and bouncy, and it has a water temperature gage built right into it, so you don't have to guess at whether or not your baby's bathwater is too hot.

I would recommended it, if my son hadn't found it so terrifying.
...

This tub is GREAT! When my daughter outgrew the baby tub, I didn't know what to do with her next. I definately didn't feel comfortable putting her in the big tub! I did some research and decided on this duck tub. It's the best! My daughter used it until she absolutely couldn't fit in it anymore! It was soft to sit in and she could reach all of her toys. I plan to use it for our next little guy when he outgrows the baby tub. And if it ever gets a hole in it, I won't hesitate to buy another one!!...

A friend of mine gave me my Munchkin Hot Safety Duck tub for my baby shower. I had registered for it at Target and Loved it! My daughter's bathroom was done in Rubber ducky's and it matched the theme perfectly!! My little girl loved the bright colors and the sound the beak made when we pushed it. The only bad thing, was there was really nothing to hold their head up while they were still very little. The Duck tub was easy to store away, easy to clean and very durable. When my daughter got a little older, she loved playing in her rubber ducky " swimming pool." I would recommend this safety tub for anyone who loves fun and is practical!!...

The infant tub I used for the first few months of my son's life was uncomfortable and slippery, hard plastic! Then, my sister purchased the Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub for us and we used it until my son was nearly 3 years old. We are now using it for our second son who just turned 1 year old. The Munchkin ducky actually quacks when you squeeze his beak! The tub itself is comfortable, a good size and height to keep baby from falling over or feeling too out-in-the-open or insecure. It does have a heat sensor window that changes color if the water is too hot, but I don't think we've ever seen it change color (the water hasn't been hot enough). My favorite thing about this ducky tub is that I can feel confident that my child is not sitting in or catching something from the floor of our shower tub, which I admit needs to be deep-cleaned much more frequently. When we're done with the ducky, I simply wipe it out (even just a baby wipe will do) and stand it up against the wall...
...

I saw this bath at the store and had to get it... how cute and fun! my daughter loved this tub and I was so sad when she outgrew it. It has a built in temperature gauge so you know if the water is too hot. This tub is reasonably priced and a good bargain. My daughter was much mre excited to bathe once we had this. It has a sunction cup so you can hang it from the bath wall to dry!...

This has been great of course after my daughters initial hesitation of the "quacking" sound. We even have used it as an outdoor swimming pool. It can be bulky if you have limited space for bathing but, fits great in a full size tub. Easy cleaning and storage have been a great bonus for us....

I am reviewing the Munchin Safety bath duck. It is too cute, and that is why I bought it. I got it home placed it in my shower (i do not have a bath tub) and gave my lil boy a bath, he loved it, but after he got out, it deflated. So...I patched it with the wonderful patch kit it comes with. Next time I used it, same thing happened..so i dont know if its just me...but it keeps popping!!!

I think the material is just too thin for my rough lil boy!
...
