I bought a Mr Coffee programable 4 cup coffee maker last week and after getting just 2 mugs of coffee I decided to measure the pot to see how much water it holds and it holds only 3 cups. This is very deceiving, I thought with it being a 4 cup maker I would be able to get 3 mugs of coffee, I get just 2 and can only get 3 tea cups out of it. I am very disappointed with it. It works fine but is not adquate for us....

I now have my second Mr. Coffee 4-cup brewer. Actually, it makes two large mugs. (I broke my first one; couldn't wait to get another.) I got the one without the capability to set for automatic timing, since I unplug it when not in use. Would hate to be without it....

its perfect for on the gotta have my coffee type person. if your time is limited in the mornings this is the pot for you. get it ready before you go to bed then when you get up hit the brew button jump in the shower and your coffee is ready to pour in your go mug and out the door right on time. that works for me...

I have the 4 cup programable Mr Coffee coffee pot and I love it. I usually only make coffee for myself before I leave for work. It was a great value for the money and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have to make alot of coffee at one time....

My husband bought me this one when my old faithful no-name-brand bit the dust a couple of months ago. I had not had a Mr. Coffee product for years because the first few I had burned out so quickly compared to other brands I bought later and the coffee was so hot that I had to wait to drink it. This little pot is just right for me. I mamke one pot a day and the cup I use gets filled twice from the carafe and I turn it off. I really like this one - I'm glad my husband brought this one home."...

I recently bought this small Mr. Coffee coffeemaker and it is wonderful for just one cup at a time. I am a single lady and don't drink more than one cup a day. It says it is a 4 cup maker but I find that with my size of cups, I can fill it up to 3 cups and it is just right. Takes the smaller filters and washes up great. There is no timer however, but it perks really fast so the wait time is short. ...

I like this coffee maker. It makes a decent cup of coffee. And you can't beat the size.

But the automatic drip-stop doesn't totally work and even when I wait for the job to finish coffee drips onto the hot bottom and it sizzles leaving an unpleasant burning smell.

I am not the coffee drinker in my household, my wife is, but I find myself making the coffee on the weekends along with the rest of breakfast. Up until recently, we had one of the large 12-cup machines that Gevalia sends you for free-of-charge for trying their gourmet coffee. But my wife grew tired of it and started looking for a replacement more in line with the amount of coffee she actually drinks every morning: two. She settled on the small foot-print drip Mr. Coffee TF4 4-Cup Coffee Maker.

The 3.3 pound Mr. Coffee TF4 coffee maker features just one button, the on/off switch. But it unit allows you the luxury of removing the glass carafe (called pause-n-serve) while the pot is still being brewed. The off/off switch lets you know when the coffee maker is on by illuminating the on switch, and the Mr. Coffee TF4 features a dual water reservoir so you'll never have to guess how much water remains.
