allithie says "makes good coffee but it is slow" about Mr. Coffee - Coffee Makers

I have had my Mr. Coffee coffee maker for about a year now. I love the fact that is keep coffee HOT!!! when the warmer is on. If it is left on for more than an hour the coffee gets a burned taste to it. Usually I want to have coffee right away when I get up and well, I usually have to wait fifteen to twenty minutes for the coffee maker to be done brewing before I can have coffee. Also, when company is coming over for coffee I have to start it when they are on their way so as not to have to wait when everyone gets here. I do like the fact that you can use any brand of filters in it and it is easy to clean but like I said if speed is what you want this is not the coffee pot for you. Also, if you like luke warm coffee this is not the coffee pot for you. But, if you are patient and like really hot coffee in the morning then the Mr. Coffee coffee maker is the right one for the job. It is not outrageously expensive so that makes it even better!
...

We have always used a Mr. Coffee coffee maker and have always been very satisfied. The other day our Mr. Coffee died and my husband went and bought a Proctor Selix that has way too many buttons on it. He threw the instructions away and I can't figure it out either. It was so simple with the Mr. Coffee coffee maker and this thing is a bear to figure out. I wanted a black coffee maker, instead of the white Mr. Coffee that I had, and this was the only thing he could find in black. It will make the coffee just fine, but won't keep it warm. I really think that with coffee makers, they have made them to complicated for us old folks and I will definitely stay with the simple Mr. Coffee maker and it cheaper also. You can always find real good sales on the Mr.Coffee coffee makers and I do have more than one at a time so I have a back up. The only thing is the color as the white shows so many stains.
...

doublesideddiamond says "Mr Coffee Coffee pots are cheap and last forever" about Mr. Coffee - Coffee Makers

I'm 24 and have owned two of these coffee pots in the last 6 years. They're cheap to average price in comparison to most in their competition and they last forever! Well atleast a couple years, I only got rid of the first one in trade for a microwave with an old roomate. They're easy, some have turn off timers so you don't burn down your house, and they make great coffee every time. Which reliability is key when you don't have time to check and possibly remake your morning cup when your rushing to work. The one that I purchased took paper filters, but Mr Coffee has metal filters that you can purchase for five to ten dollars that will permanently replace those for you, which I did. The typical size of the coffee pots will make up to ten cups of coffee which is plenty for myself and a few more people. It's quick but it can be a little noisy, but nothing very obnoxious while it's brewing. There's no timer or auto off but I'm ok with the basics. I would recomend this brand for...
...

Mr coffee maker is one of the most popular coffee maker brands around today. It can be bought for a very reasonable price at just about any retail store around. Extra coffee carafes are easily available in case your should crack or break. Also permanent coffee filter baskets are available at a very reasonable price at just about any store around. Paper coffee filters can also be used and are also easily available, but i prefer the permanent basket to save on paper products. All you have to do to brew the perfect cup of coffee is measure out your coffee and fill the coffee filter basket. Open the top and pour the premeasured water into the top, shut the top and push the brew button. In just a very few minutes you will have your very own cup of fresh brewed coffee. You can use any amount of coffee grinds you prefer to make your coffee any where from strong to weak. You will be guaranteed a perfect cup of coffee everytime.
...

I have a Mr. Coffee coffee maker. I don't know the model because I've had the same one for the past 10 years. It works fantastic. I bought it in black so it still looks very clean. It turns itself off after about 2 hours. I'm amazed this thing has not died yet. I make a pot every single day (sometimes two). I've even taken it camping with me. I'm confused by the negative views. Maybe a different model? Mine looks like the picture, except in black.
...

lgantcha says "Mr. Coffee coffee maker keeps your coffee hot." about Mr. Coffee - Coffee Makers

The Mr. Coffee coffe maker is simply the best coffee maker for the price bar none.

I have had a lot of coffee pots (I drink a pot every morning) and consequently have gone through a lot of coffee makers.

The thing that I love about the Mr. Coffee coffe maker is that my last cup of coffee is as hot as my first cup of coffee. I have tried the more expensive brands and by the time I get to my third cup it is not hot any more and that is the way I like my coffee.

The price tag is also very good since it is one of the least expenisive brands on the market.

I did get the white color which makes it a little more difficult to keep clean. And once one part is stained chances are you will never get it to the white that it was before. So if the black color can fit in with your decor I would recommend to buy that.

The automatic stop when getting a cup while it is still brewing always drips a little bit so I usually wait until the entire batch is done brewing.
...

I started drinking coffee about 5 years ago. I have had the same Mr. Coffee maker ever since and I havent had any problems with it at all. It still functions just as good as the day I bought it. It makes up to 12 cups of coffee, even though I dont need that much. hahaha. You can delay brewing in order to pour yourself a cup and then just continue again. My boyfriend actually bought me a Mr Coffee for his place. Its even better than the one I have. The one he bought has a digital clock on it. Delayed brewing button, off and on buttons. It has a timer where you can set a time for the coffee maker to start brewing coffee in the morning while your sound asleep. What a way to wake up, to the smell of fresh coffee. I love that feature soooo much. Its my favorite feature. Mr Coffee brand is also very reasinably priced. My boyfriend bought mine on sale for twenty five dollars. I got mine for about thirty, but his is way better. I love my coffee from mr coffee.
...

I have made the choice to review under the general heading of Mr. Coffee coffee makers, as I have a few comments to make about the basic unit, which held 10 cups, and the programable units which drip out 12 cups.

We had used different types over the years, and my better half, tired of waiting for me to grind or press coffee chose to use a Hamilton Drip, this baby driped happily for years and then of course gave up the ghost.

We first replaced it with a Mr. Coffee ten cup automatic, it was on sale cheap! This bad boy quit on us one week later. I couldnt find my receipt and decided that sometimes these things happen, maybe it was just made on a friday or something. We will try again, but as coffee should taste great when you make it,maybe a little more of an investment was in order, but you know not to much of an investment.

I laid out how much we would spend this time, off to the store. Lovely choices but once again my range left me in the Mr. Coffee section again. Okay maybe one of those black,...
...

Hi, I just recently purchased the Mr. Coffee 12 Cup Coffee Maker. Its so amazing. Its easy to use and the coffee is so rich and better than Starbucks or Pete's coffee. I am very satisfied at the ease of use. There is even a delay button so you can set your coffee to be made later after you have added the water and coffee! I got it at Sears at a price that was six dollars lower than Kohl's for same coffee maker. Way to go Mr. Coffee and Sears. You make a great team!!!! Lots of Love. N from Ma....

I purchased a Mr. coffee Maker at Wal-Mart while I was out shopping for Thanksgiving preparations today. I hadn't planned on purchasing another, since I had a working coffee maker already on my Counter, but there it was in a smart Black color, and it shined in the corner shelf, so I spent the extra $14.98. Since the new mr. Coffee Maker would replace an older one, I had no hesitation. They last well, work for months on end, and to purchasde a newer one; was giving myself an early Christmas gift!...

I just bought a Mr. Coffee Coffee Maker last week and I love it. It was so inexpensive, only $19.99! It makes 12 cups and brews quickly. The coffee comes out nice and strong the way I like it. The whole system is easy to clean and the white color blends with the rest of my kitchen. The only problem I have is that it drips occasionally when I am pouring it....
