I live in North Carolina, and in the South, we drink Sweet Tea! It doesn't have to be summertime to enjoy a nice cold glass of Sweet Tea, it's the most requested beverage in our state. Our family can go through A LOT of tea, so having Mr. Coffee's Iced Tea maker is essential in our home.

I believe I've bought three different models of Mr. Coffee Iced Tea maker. When we've used one to the breaking point, we just go buy a new one. Now, that doesn't mean that the Tea makers aren't durable. They are very well made and last a long time. It's just that we use it a lot! :-)

When you use your tea maker, it really works a lot like a Coffee maker. You add the water to the pitcher (there are lines on the pitcher indicating the amount of water you are using) and then pour the water into the base. If you like your tea sweet, just add the water to the pitcher and put it on the base. The tea bag basket inserts right on the top, so just add the amount of tea bags desired. Then turn...
...

If you enjoy ice tea, this machine is wonderful. It is simple and easy to use. The tea tastes wonderful! I love being able to make it right in the pitcher that can be placed in the fridge....

lillystoads says "Makes tea fast but needs work" about Mr. Coffee 3 Quart Iced Tea Maker TM50P

I love how fast it makes the tea. I hate how there is still water in the container after the tea is made. You had better remember to dump the water out or mold will grow. Didn't know it was broke and didnt dump the water out so my machine molded! Now every time I use it I have to wait for most of the water to run through and then add more water to the tea maker. The maker started having this problem about 3 months after getting it for Christmas. I do still use the Tea Maker but the whole reason for owning this is fast tea and not it takes forever....

Stormy says "Most dependable appliance I have ever owned." about Mr. Coffee 3 Quart Iced Tea Maker TM50P

I have lived in my house for 16 years. One of the first kitchen appliance I bought was a Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker. I don't like canned or bottled iced tea, nor do I like sugar or lemon in my iced tea. I drink about two gallons a week, and it is all because of the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker. It has been used at least twice a week for 16 years, and has never given me a day of trouble. We have replaced all other appliances in the kitchen, big and small, some more than once. But my iced tea maker just continues like it is still brand new. With this kind of durability, maybe it should be endorsed by Cal Ripken Jr. instead of Joe DiMaggio....

My family loves to drink iced tea, especially my husband, who can make short work of a pitcher full of iced tea! I was raised all over the country (navy brat), but never really learned the art of iced tea. I married my husband, a true southerner, and this wedding gift was definitely what I needed. It makes short work of brewing a pitcher of iced tea and can easily be customized by the size/number of tea bags you use, amount of sugar, etc. This gadget is worth its space on my counter!...

I got this for making iced green tea which, other than coffee, is all I drink. It works very well, although one time I used it I did set it up wrong and it leaked all over my counter. Other than that one time though it's been great. I just got one for my mother in law for christmas and I think that it is reasonably priced....

I drink a lot of water throughout the day. When I'm at work, I'm speaking almost non-stop for five 40-minute periods. I keep a bottle of cold water close to me at all times to refresh my mouth and allow me to continue on with my lecture. By the end of the day, I don't want to drink any more water. I'm not a big fan of soda, either, so that pretty much leaves iced tea as the default drink. We bought the Mr. Coffee 3-Quart Iced Tea Maker a couple of years ago so we could make our own rather than dealing with powders or expensive Snapple products.

It's extremely easy to use this machine. The body of the machine has water fill lines for making 1, 2, and 3 quarts of iced tea. After adding the water, you put the white tea basket into place and can use either tea bags or loose tea in a coffee filter. You also can add sweetener to the basket at that time so it is evenly distributed throughout the drink. The last thing to do is to add ice (again to the 1, 2, or 3 quart lines). ...
...
