The great thing about Firefox is that it's not IE. I've always had a ton of trouble with internet explorer, but firefox is great! There are great ad-ons. I use the small search toolbar on the top left for searching sites I frequent, without having to go to the site first. For example, google, IMDB, ebay, amazon...they all come down from a drop-down menu and you can search whever from wherever! I also like the download manager and download helper. It allows you to select any downloadable file from a menu and not have to look aroud the page for wht you want. Some features that are nice that are also included on most other browsers these days are, the multiple tabs for multi-tasking, and the bookmark toobar. Those two are my favorite features and as much as I can remember Firefox had them first. Mozilla really is becoming the pioneer in web browsing, and I will never go back to Internet Explorer!
...

Plugin System
Firefox's capablities are not limited and they can be extended by using the plugins.Firefox at this time has got millions of plugins which add true functionality to this browser.Anyone can find plugins according to his needs.

softball18 says "amazingly fast and has so many extra add-ons" about Mozilla Firefox 2.0

Firefox really is making my life so much more convenient. I have it on my personal computer as well as on the computers at school, and its personalization makes it so nice to use. The only down part is that there isnt really a good way to look at the history conveniently, it just lists it out and doesn't put it into different days like some other internet access applicaitons. I have a few add ons, such as cool-iris which allows me to view pictures on a website alone, without the rest of the website showing and shows thousands of pictures without having to wait too long to load. Mine also has a built in music player that accesses music from several sources, such as itunes and pandora which allows me to skip songs, replay a previous song and show song information. There is tabbed browsing, which makes looking at several different websites at one time great. It also has google browser built right in, so looking up information is quick.
...

I am a big fan of Firefox. I used to use Internet Explorer but it was constantly crashing when I had multiple windows open. I switched to Safari but never really loved it. Firefox was a ray of light. All the best features are on Firefox first -- tabbed browsing, integrated searches -- and it's very stable. It only crashes once in a while and has a feature that reloads all the browsers windows you had open when it does.

I had a few nitpicks here and there (it took me a while to get used to the way favorites are sorted) but overall, it's the best way to surf the web....

Firefox is a good alternative browser that offers pretty much all the features that internet explorer offers at a sometimes faster speed the only drawback with firefox is that many add- ons and applications are not compatible with it. Overall it is a good application to have for sometimes watching videos that sometimes work better on firefox....

Firefox has to be the best all around web browser out. It is extremely secure and fast and its leaps and bounds ahead of IE. My favorite things about firefox are its easy user interface and tabbed browsing. There are also so many additional add-ons for firefox, from different skins to other add-on that help you no matter what you doing....

I downloaded Mozilla as a back-up browser for when I have problems with my default Internet Explorer. I have Internet Explorer loaded with tool-bars that may not be available on Mozilla. The problem is Mozilla does not initialize or start, so it appears to be a worthless download. I have reinstalled hoping the problem would go away, but it didn't. While searching for free web browsers I found a browser called Opera. It has speed dial and tabbed browsing. I have not had a problem with as I have with other browsers. I find Opera convenient and easy to use....
