Moonlight was a fine television show that should have been given at least a few more episodes to find its footing. It had an interesting mythology, one that I thought was fairly unique. But then again, I am not a huge fan of vampire shows (I have watched Buffy and Angel in the past). What I liked best about the show was the way it explored the vampire community. The romance angle was a bit cliche, to be honest, but then again I am a guy and rarely get invested in television romances.

I think that the show was great. The story line was awesome it had so much suspense that you could not wait for the next episode . I liked the whole vampire story but he doesnt feed on people and makes it his job to help out everyone else by being a private detective. Hope that they bring it back.

Moonlight is a breath of fresh air with all the medical and detective shows!! Now I know that Mick solves crimes and mysteries, but he's a smokin' hot vampire!! What's not to love right?? The show is action packed, adventurous and funny with some romance on the side!! It's a good show for men and women. i absolutely love this show and can't wait for the next season!!!

"I don't vant to suck your bluod", "but I vill ifv I have too". This would be written in invisible ink on his P. I. business card. Here is a guy turned into a vampire by the women he married in 1952, while on their honeymoon. The ultimate "I thought I knew her, but I guess I really didn't" scenario, Mick has for fifty plus years, hated the fact that instead of getting to eat his favorite well done steak, he must settle for the ultra extra rare version he must suck with a straw.

I love this show. The underlying reason is that it has at its core a masterful twist of how Mick's yearning to be human again is enough for him to emulate human compasion, which produces the same results (or even better) than genuine feeling. This is not a good recline spoiled. It really does provide a neat insight into what self-control can acheive even when you really "Vant to bite their Edd offv"

(the music is awesome for all ages applicable) should be rated tv13 or tv12 if you have a tivo and can ff......

Great entertainment. It has an interesting cast of characters. It appeals to me, my husband, and our teenagers.

OK. I was waiting to see a flop. Another out-of-this-world drama opposite Ghost Whisperer? Moonlight, a story of Vampires living amongst us mortals, was a surprising experience. They put together an Aussie, Londoner and a Canadian with a few USA types thrown in, PLUS a fantastic writing team and set developers, and the mix is marvelous.

I got hooked because of the writing. It is very good. This could be an absolutely awful show with pretty people, but the actors/characters really seem to like each other, the story line is fantastically displayed and the actors know how to act. I have noted a couple of rough spots, but if I just wait it out, everything smooths out nicely, and I'm satisfied at the end of the episode.

How else can I recommend it other than letting you know that my husband, Mr. "I hate everything on television and don't understand why anyone would watch that d--- thing!", has actually sat with me through 5 entire episodes (impressive for him - he didn't get up once!)......

This show has alot of action and iinterplay with the characters. It makes the usual bad guy into the good guy. The romance that seems to be budding between the two leads seems to be heading along the lines of "Dark Angel". It seems that whenever they are about to get close, something will come between them. It is the hope of every romantic that it will work out in the end for them. The ex-wife on the scene is an added plus that will always add to a story line. I hope they develope some of the other characters as the show goes on. If you like romance, action, and are a dreamer that love can be found in any situation, then this is the show for you!...

I've only seen two episodes of Moonlight, but those were enough. I'd just as soon play cards, or do the dishes. It was too dramatic and cheesy. Some of the expected vampire things don't apply (the main character can walk in the sunlight, what's up with that??). Overall, it wasn't terrible, but it was just average....

Great, entertaining show. It mixes the crime fighting mystery with vampire and romantic triangles. Definitely more for women than men. My husband watched the first 2 episodes, then gave it up as too much like a "chick flick". ...

This show keeps me on the edge of my seat for the entire hour it's on! When I first saw the previews for it, I was a bit skeptical about watching a show where some of the main characters are vampires. However, I quickly got pulled in by the chemistry between the main characters. The story line continues each week, where the previous show left off. The show contains alot of drama and action, but there's also an undertone of romance and sexual tension, that I find very appealing. I like the way the show is narrated by Mick (one of the 2 main characters). Mick is a vampire, who was "turned" into a vampire by his wife at the time, Cora Lee. She was believed to be dead, but has recently showed up on the show in mortal form. The other main character is Beth, who is mortal, and works as a detective. It's very hard to summarize several months worth of shows into a one paragraph review. If you're into detective shows, and like to feel a connection to the main characters, give this show a looksy! ......

If you like Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel, I think you will like this show.

It's got parallels to Buffy the Vampire Slayer in that it has a vampire that wants to be with a mortal but knows he shouldn't and stays away from her.

The main reason I watch this show is that the Alex O'Loughlin, the lead charcter is very very good looking. I've stayed because the show isn't half bad. Alex and Sophia Myles, the lead female work very well together. You know they shouldn't be together but you really want them to be.

The one thing that's different from Buffy is that the vampires don't die from being staked in the heart, don't blow up in the sun and don't look that much like demons when their fangs come out. but like Angel, Mick St. John the protagonist, is a private investigator that helps people.

You should really check it out.

I am astonished that the crtics haven't totally been won over by this new series. The plot lines are fresh and entertaining. It has the action for the adrenaline buffs, and the romance for the love bugs. I can't wait for each new episode. The characters are fantastic,the eye candy is great for both genders, what else can you ask for? I would give it 50 stars if I could....

This is a show that is not getting a lot of buzz and it should because it's not like any other vampire show in the past. The main character, Mick St. John is so quirky, funny, and charming that he makes you love the fact he is a vampire. The being in love with a human is not the only plot to this show. The cases he solves as a private investigator that sometimes involve going up against bad vampires including his trouble past of how he became a vampire (his ex-wife) means this show is never a bore. Check it out!!!!...

When I first saw the promos for this show, I thought with distaste, "Great, a vampire show." I am not into vampire, witch, scorcerer, etc. type things. I like the occasional sci-fi show (Star Trek, Stargate SG1, etc.), but vampires just don't appeal to me. Yes, Alex O'Laughlin will stop a few hearts, yes, the show probably has some good lines in it (after all, the promo did), but come on, how good can it be? Then I happened to be home one Friday night with nothing better to do so I watched it. (It was the best thing on and I was bored.) From then on, my whole attitude about the show changed.

I love the way Mick and Beth look at and interact with each other. It's almost like you can tell what they are thinking. (And each one is thinking that they love and want the other one--good acting guys and nice facial expressions!) Yes, alright, I am a hopeless romantic and I play some of their moments over and over in my head. Of course, there is action, suspense, and plenty of...
