DeniseJS says "Refreshing and Delicious Even Though it's Low-Cal!" about Monster Lo-Carb Energy Drink

I've been a fan of Monster Energy Drinks for quite some time, but the regular version is LOADED with calories and sugar. I switched to Monster Lo-Carb in the hopes that I could still enjoy the great taste without the added calories.

Thankfully, I can!

The taste is still very similar to the full-carb Monster, with only a slight difference in the aftertaste. Honestly, it's not a big enough difference to me that it affects my overall enjoyment of the product. In my opinion, the two taste very similar, but I'm eliminating a bunch of excess calories and sugar by drinking the lower-carb version.

Although I know that energy drinks are probably not the healthiest thing for you, I limit myself to a can per week. I figure I should be able to indulge now and then, and if I'm drinking a low-cal beverage then that's even better!

As far as how much energy I derive from Monster Lo-Carb, I can't say it lasts all day. I do feel slightly more upbeat with one of these in my system, and I can typically stay...
...

jessicaasarg says "Why are Monster and other energy drinks so expensive?" about Monster Lo-Carb Energy Drink

I do like the Monster Low-carb better than most it doesn't seem to have that weird after taste. They are very expensive, and there are never any coupon! It does great for a mid-afternoon pick me up without getting the shakes. I was able to use a target special where I received a $5 gift card so I used that to purchase a four pack. Makes a great pick me up during thesummer when it is to hot for coffee, or want something refreshing. I have no problem finding them in the stores, but trying to find them in the four packs is not as easy. When I do find the four packs they are $8, where is the discount for buying in bluk! I would like to see more bulk size packs for a better price, other wise what is the point. I have noticed that our Target and Race Trac has the four pack for $5.99, but not the other stores. I hope that price isn't for a short time. Overall I would reccomend this product, but it is pricey.
...

I would say that Monster Lo-Carb Energy Drink is one of the, if not the best energy drinks around. It is somewhat healthy and gives you a kick of energy when you drink it. Even though it has all of those great atributes to it it doesnt give you lasting energy it causes you to crash after a couple of hours. ...

smellmyselfski says "Good--but there are much better out there" about Monster Lo-Carb Energy Drink

Okay, monster is a great company, and I have enjoyed their drinks for a long time now. But I have to admit that this drink is not their best. I have never been a fan of low carbs. That taste is dramatically affected, and the kick is altered. Now, this would be okay if these factors were not too affected--but they are. If you are too worried about the calories and carbs--honestly, either you should not be drinking energy drinks, or you should go on a run.

This drink has a decent kick, but I am just pointing out that in no way does it measure up to the high standards that the other monster drinks have upholded.
...

MaineMomof2 says "This will keep you going all morning - and you won't be drinking your calories!" about Monster Lo-Carb Energy Drink

I started drinking regular the regular Monster Energy drinks a couple years ago until I realized that there were 26 grams of sugar per serving and 100 calories (and there are two servings in a can of monster!) Forget the fact that sometimes stores only cary the XXL versions and that is THREE servings!

I have to say that the taste of Monster is acquired - that is, you may not like it when you first try it. However, if you are into energy drinks - like myself - you will already know that it's very difficult to find a GREAT tasting energy drink that isn't full of sugar or carbs.

Lo-Carb Monster has a total of 10 calories per serving and 3 grams of sugar per serving. So, if you were to drink the whole can (like everyone does) you would only get a total of 20 calories and 6 grams of sugar! Plus, I really didn't notice a difference energy wise between the lo-carb and the regular monster.

The only problem I have had is finding these in bulk. They always offer the regular Monster - but not...
...
