So you go out and buy a new toy for your kid who falls in love with it instantly....Just to find out a few days latter its being recalled for lead! Great now you have to break your kids heart! And why might you ask are so many toys being recalled for lead these days...Dont blame the country they are made it its all our own fault! Its cheaper for companys to have toys made outside the country than it is to have them made here. Why do we let these companys get away with this. Oh I know were to busy...Have to cook....In the middle of a book that we just cant put down....etc...etc...In the meentime little susy or billy is sad cause his/her toy had to be taken away. If this irks you as much as it does me (companys making a buck off of our childrens safety) Then put down that book roll back the clock tou your own kiddy days and imagine how you would feal...then get on line and start demanding the goverment to do something about this...Other than recalls when its to late!!!...

new toys are great for children but how is one to buy a great toy if you have to constantly worry if they are gonna recall them for lead poisoning? i think they should be much more concerned for a childes safety. have you seen the testing sights? they are disastrous!! how could you test something for safety in a mess like that.... it is time that something be changed because Chinese children are not playing with these toys the American children, our children.. i think that if these toys were being made here we would not have as many problems....think about it if we were manufacturing these toys for other countries and something like this would happen to them would we care as much?? no so just flip that situation around!!
...

The Baby Einstein Chair was great in theory but in practice horrible. The chair was purchased at a store with a policy of not accepting returns without reciepts. It was a shower gift without receipt. The chair itself is great as it can hold 40lbs and become a great chair to relax and read books in....
