Shirelindy says "best free site to manage finances" about Mint.com

Mint.com is completely trustworthy. I was a little skeptical when I gave them all my accounts including username and password but I have been using them for over a year and I have had no issues with them. They keep track of budgets and spending as well as give you tips for saving money. You can search your history and figure out where all your money went! It will categorize your spending and send you email alerts when you're bills are due or if you go over your budget for a certain category. My only complaint is that they don't have my main bank in their system yet. However, they indicated that they are always adding different banks so I hope my bank will be added soon....

trish126 says "I love being Minty!" about Mint.com

I recently discovered Mint.com, and feel like I've become a personal sales person for the site. I have only been using the site for a month, but love that I can see and keep track of all my finances in one easy place. It takes little effort on my part to set up or track. I basically log in to see how I'm doing with my current budget, or overall spending. The best part of all . . . it's FREE. Can't get any better than that!...

I have been an avid user of microsoft money, and other money trackers for quite some time now. after being introduced to mint.com I have not gone back to the other software based money trackers at all!! mint.com is so easy to use, I have even got my G-ma using it!!

The first time I logged on mint.com walked me through adding my accounts. within minutes after that I had a clear picture of all my incoming and outgoing money! mint even lets you categorize your spending so you know exactly where you stand at all times within every budget you set for yourself, whatever budget that is! whether it be for food, gas or even the birthday present budget! This program helps me save and spend appropriately ! I absolutely love it!
...

asamland says "One of the best free money trackers on the Internet." about Mint.com

Mint.com is fairly new. This free company allows you to set up an account with them. You can then enter your passwords and user names and they will automatically update your credit cards, bank accounts each night. Everything you spend, including interest, is tracked and put into a chart to show you where your spending is going each month, week and etc. After some time, you can compare where your spending is going compared to last year, last week, etc.

You have to tweak the categories so that they fit where you need them to but for the most part, Mint.com can recognize categories such as groceries and put how much you spent there.

Weekly updates are sent to you via emial saying what's in each account. Reminders are also sent when your credit cards are due, definitely handy!

A great free service that allows you to spend more time doing other things.
...
