The screen is huge. So watching videos and movies is great. The Zune does tend to freeze, but that is an easy fix. I enjoy the podcasts. I do have the ugly brown one. I put a black rubber case over it. Transferring music can be a chore. It has to use the Zune software and all music may not be saved to the player for whatever reason. I only paid $89 for mine...brand new...so, I'm NOT really complaining....

I am glad I bought the Zune over any other media player. I looked at a lot of media players before I made my decision. I have a baby who was in the pediatric intensive care unit for a long time. I looked at the iPod, Zen, PSP and a couple of others I can't think of off the top of my head. I'm not a gamer, so I didn't need that feature. The reason I was considering the PSP is that it has a nice screen and I wanted something I could watch movies on. The Zune was in my price range and did what I wanted. The one thing I have recently been disappointed in is that I couldn't put podcasts on it. On Nov. 13 Zune updated the software and now I can put podcasts on my Zune. I have the add-ons so I can play it in the car and hook it up to my TV. Something I was shocked about, that I tried recently; I hooked it up to a 52 inch TV and the quality of the picture was just as good as it is on my 32 inch TV. I bought the new Zune - it is simply great. It is very easy to use and am loving it. I purchased Chocolate color and am using it to play my media files. I compared this with my iPod and Zune is much better. The sound quality is just amazing. I did side by side comparision and was amazed by the difference.

I asked my daughter to checkout both Zune and iPod - she liked Zune better. also, she was able to use Zune without guidance.

low cost, 27.7gb storage, esily transfers files into and onto zune software & zune, extremely easy interface, large screen, great sound quality, decent video quality, decent headphones, simple button layout arranges music by playlist, artist, album, song ... etc.

software is too 'ipoodish', battery life is not great, only .m4a(zune video type) mp3 and certain images, the 'squircle' pad thing is stupid not too much to complain about (thinking about the price)
