The 30gb zune sucks big time. for one thing its really really really really really really big it cant even fit in your back pocket its sooo big its redicoulous at first id didnt mind i but oh my gosh it sucks. first off its really old and breaks easily too easy. the smaller zunes are better this one is just big its good if you have alot of music and dont mind the size but other than that i sucks . its also good becase the screen is reall big so if you have something with your eyes its good for you. the zune is ver heavy though maybe weighs a good pound or two. also it runs very slow. its like a tank and has wifi syncing . thesongs sound ver good on it kinda lyke the person is right infront ofyou singing the song to youwhich rocks i think it is worhte the money fothe timed it does work. it also comes with a warranty which is some what good if anything ahppens with it you sed it in an the fix it and send it back to you fixed and all.

It recently bought a $300 white Zune 30gb and within 6 months of having it I turned it off and it never came back on. I'm very upset with this product.

I will start this review with a little disclosure. I have always been more of a mac fan than microsoft, and I received my zune as a gift. While it is better than average for a microsoft product, it still falls short of the ipod touch. When I first got my zune, I was impressed with how easy it was to load on all my music, pics, video, etc. It does a solid job as an mp3 player. It has all the usual shuffle and playlist functions. However, unless you're going to take the time to access some of the wifi services it offers, then you should definitely buy an ipod touch. I have not actually accessed these services because I'm lazy, but if you are really into music I would check it out. The zune also just doesn't have the same accessories or applications as the ipod touch. The variety of things you can do just seems limited compared to the ipod touch. So in summary, unless you got a zune as a gift, you should go get an ipod touch.

I love the Zune! I found the songs easy to find and categorize and uploading to be simple. The price is a bit hefty but it is a great product. It is really big for taking jogging but I love the fact that the screen is big enough to watch movies on! It's like having a mini dvd player for the kids to watch movies on! I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a nice Mp3 player.

The 30 GB Microsoft Zune is a great Mp3 player that rivals IPod. They cost about the same, and with its large screen and storage capacity, it's a great take-a-long item. It is large and somewhat bulky, but the Zune allows you to view videos, photos, music, podcasts, play their selected games, and manage all the inventory through their program. That is however one downfall of Zune. They almost force you to buy music through their site. It is a great site to find exactly what you're looking for, and 79 cents per song (most songs) is not a bad deal. I have also found that Zune does not support some versions of videos I've downloaded onto my computer. I got some Looney Tunes classics through entering Pepsi codes, but they will not work on Zune. I've also found the syncing with Zune to the computer takes a long time just to connect to my Zune. Videos take forever- sometimes overnight - to download onto the Zune. I have to say that I got my 30g Zune as a gift, however, even if I had paid for it with my own hard earned cash I would feel the same way about it, which is to say that I love love love the thing.

Zune doesn't produce the 30g anymore, and I can't figure out why. It's the perfect size for me, I hardly have 30g worth of stuff, much less 80 or 120g. The 4, 8, and 16 are too small, so the 30 is just right.

Mine is white, and despite only having a case for the last 4 months or so, it looks excellent. Is not a stain magnet and cleans well with a soft cloth.

I have always used a screen protector, so the screen stays nice and unscratched as well.

I have had the 30g Zune since April, 2008 and have had no issues with it, or the Zune software. I do enjoy the Zune software better than iTunes, which I hated so much that I stopped using the iPod I had because it was so cumbersome and such a memory hog. Apparently I'm the only person on the planet that hates iTunes, so who knows.

This Zune mp 3 player is a must have for every household. Zune comes in variety of colors red white black brown pink sorry no orange or blue neither yellow. maybe in the near future you can store thousands of songs in this little device. Its out of stock in stores. but ebay has this. there is also 80gb. So if you are looking for an mp3 player. look no further and get a zune mp3 its worthwhile.get It for a low low price. I love it.you can also store pictures and movies. Its so small you can carry it in your pocket or purse. You can add some accessories like head phones or carry case. I give it an A+++. And also 5 star out of 5. it has a bright screen. A 3 hour battery life.you can connect it to your car stereo.

I think the Zune is a excellent MP3/4 player, I really enjoy all the options and ease of upgrades & syncing. Only wish Microsoft would link the Zune automatically with Windows Media Player. The Zune maybe thicker then Apple's, but it has more options, is wireless & has built-in FM Radio. I only paid $100, cause I waited for the price to go down & didn't want to pay $250 for a Apple iPod with not as many options as the Zune. I have never had any problems, battery life is great and video is awsome. Playback is easy and is sounds great.

I purchased my Zune on sale at Target when it was insanely cheap for the 30GB and a car audio kit. The Zune integrated right into my audio folders on my computer which was great because I have used Media Player as the software to play and organize my music for years. Everything transferred over without any hassle whatsoever. I cannot say the same for the piece of junk iPod I also own.

The bad part about the Zune is the software - go figure. Microsoft started out with a winner and then it went downhill. Unfortunately, they decided that using the playlists that you already created in your Media Player and transferring them over to your Zune wasn't a good idea. Well, they were dead wrong. I have had to go and rebuild all of my playlists in the Zune software so that I would still maintain some level of continuity with my Media Player. BAD CALL MICROSOFT!!

The car audio kit i.e. FM transmitter that came in the kit was junk really. Not that any of them actually work they way...

I searched and read a lot of reviews before deciding which MP3 to buy. The big seller for me was the large screen. If you plan on watching movies on zune, which I highly recommend, the screen is awesome. The quality and sound is very good. Right now I have about 2,000 songs and 30 movies on my 30 gig zune and there is space still available. Another really great thing about the zune is that you can continue to update your zune even if you have an older version. They have already come out with newer versions after mine, but I still get to have the latest software even if I have an older model. Zune has even started putting games on their devices which I think is pretty cool. The battery is also better than I expected. I can watch about 3 movies before the battery goes down or listen to music pretty much all day with a full battery. Sometimes, it will tell me that the batter is low and I will still be able to listen to music for another hour or so.

Well first off, I'll say this. When i first got my Zune for christmas a few years ago, I absolutely hated it. I wanted one for so long, and when i finally got it, I was so excited. But after having to download soo many add-ons and having installation problems for almost 4-5 days, I was so over it. The Zune customer service people were completely useless. I kept getting these stupid error messages when it tried to download and the employees pretty much didn't even know what the messages meant. Finally, i called my friends brother, and i knew he also had a Zune, and eventually he got it to work. Then I finally started loving my Zune. It has more than enough space to hold all of my music, and my favorite pictures and videos. The sound and picture quality were very good, and it holds a charged battery for suuppppeerrr long. But, my screen broke. its a cheap *** piece of plastic that they want like 200 bucks to replace. So once again, customer service seriously dissapointed me.

The Zune is a good MP3 player, however it does have it's drawbacks. My favorite feature (apart from the amount of memory) is the screen size. I don't remember the exact dimensions but ipods make me feel like I need an even higher prescription for my glasses. I won't make too many ipod comparisons as I do not have one, and have never used one. Functionality is great, pretty basic, but it will let you set any of your stored pictures as your background. Gotta love Microsoft for giving you the fluff that isn't necessary but is enjoyable. So far I've been limited as to what I can put on the player but haven't tried too hard to get around it, probably just need to make sure the files are in the right folder on the pc. Also from what I can tell the store for music and movies is much more limited compared to say Itunes. Though anything downloaded legally will definitely be picked up by the zune software. Zune's are also not very cheap when bought brand new. I bought my 30gb as a refurb from Woot.com...

The zune 30gb it to perfect. It has perfect color and sound, great picture. This size zune it probably the best in sizes wise because it is not to small but not to big either. This 30gb zune has reat memory holds alot. The downloading from the zune marketplace to the computer to the zune 30gb is pretty fast pace. The new zunes that came out are enable to play games and the 30gb has a perfect picture for the games. The hold button it awesome it helps to puase the music without actually stoppin' it. you can download and put movies onto the zune and watch them with pure crystal clear clarity and perfect surround audio great. The settings are easy to handle and very simple and understanding. This is my favorite portably player out of mp3 players and ipods ect. The zune software and the zune account, and zune it very easy to use and very simple if you are not computer eliterit. Zunes are the best.

The 30gb zune is a good buy it has the option to downlode music right to the mp3 player it has games a big 3inch screen sound quality is amazing even the ear buds it comes with a great. the screen is a very clear picture and the games are nice it also plays videos and you can put pictures on it and veiw them the software that goes on the computer is very nice and user friendly along with the zune.

I got the 30G Zune for Christmas last year. So far I have seen no flaws in the mp3 player. I used to own an Ipod, but that broke on me within two months, so I personally like the Zune much more than Ipods. Zunes are much cheaper and from what I have found can do as much if not more than what Ipods are capable of. I have added a ton of songs and I have not even made a slight dent in the storage size (I barely filled up 1G, that includes a few videos too.) I have tried the games that come with the system. I was not blown away by any of them, but for free games they are not too bad. I still sometimes find myself playing the poker game. I still listen to a bunch of the free music videos that came with the system. A few of the songs have become favorites of mine. I find it a little dumb that pictures come with the system though, but that is an easy fix with the delete button. Overall this is the best product I have found for the money and would recommend this product to anyone currently in...
