The new version of internet explorer has improved a lot from the previous version (IE 6). the tabbing browsing is one of the most desirable factor of IE 7. but IE 7 stil need improvement on its speed, consider the fact that it's much slower than Mozilla Firefox....

Microsoft has came through again to make a good product even better with the release Internet Explorer (I.E.) 7.0. I begin using IE7 late in the Beta testing and liked it from the beginning. Although it was not perfect (nor is it now) but Microsoft responded to the bugs and fixed them and released a very solid product when it was released to the public. This newest IE product has answered a lot of past security issues and made the product much more reliable and more secure.

This is a very solid product and I recommend everyone to try it if you haven't already.

Internet explorer 7 is a great program. The main feature that makes it great is the ability to use tabs. The tabs are a great feature and allows for less clutter.

Some of the cons that I have heard include the fact that it's supposedly not secure. So far, I haven't seen any major problem with mine. My brother constantly has pop-ups and hijack attempts.

Overall, I use it and continue to use it (until IE 8 comes out!)

I like things that are astheically pleasing. Pretty stuff. However, the technology's first goal should be FUNCTIONALITY first. Then we can make it look good, IF we can. Explorer 7 adds tabbed browsing, however, it also incorporates a load of add-ons. Fortunately, you can manage these add ons, but you'll find that you can't do much with these add ons disabled. These add ons, in turn, make it tremendously slow. Firefox is simple. It has the tabbed browsing, but few gadgets. AND you can customize the look of it. I don't really like Firefox's page presentation. But that's only because the world lives and breathes Internet Explorer and I believe that Firefox will become more mainstream in time.

I realize that the world owes a lot to Microsoft. The problem is that Microsoft realizes this too and has finally reached a plateau of sheer corporate arrogance which is equalled only by Commonwealth Edison. Your provider of electric power doesn't have to worry about what you think. If you want to be able to turn a light on, you have to pay up and put up with whatever the electric company does. So it has come to pass with Microsoft.

I have loved using my computer from the start but noticed that Microsoft incessantly bothered me with "upgrades available" which I usually gave in and downloaded. I don't know what happened during the last upgrade but here is what is NOT happening now ... WHAM, BAM, ALAKAZAM, suddenly I can't send something to print from the WordPerfect program, which always worked perfectly before. The frustrating thing is that sometimes it works and sometimes WP promptly hangs up and goes into non-responding when I hit "Print". Only when I dicker...

I dispise Microsoft internet explorer. All of their improvements are their attempts to make explorer to preform smoother like Firefox already does, which you can get free with many many many add ons that make the internet easier to navigate and fun. I hate Internet explorer for all of it's attempts to mirror everything that the wonderfull firefox already does....

If you're wondering if you should use Windows Internet Explorer 7.0, then I would suggest using something else- preferably Mozilla Firefox. There are so many problems I don't know where to begin.

Let's start off with the browser itself. It is unbelievably slow! It takes almost 2 minutes to get from Point A, to Point B, and it doesn't matter what kind of internet service you have! With the browser being slow, evidently, it will slow up your computer.

The interface may look nice, but don't let that fool you! It is quite often confusing, and no one needs that!

The next thing is, once I had updated to IE 7, I kept getting alot of pop-ups! I thought one of the things you get, once you have downloaded it, was a pop-up blocker. Yes, it worked 70% of the time, but the rest of the 30%, you were closing windows.

Don't get me wrong, there are SOME nice things about it, but not enough to use it!
