The service is great. I pay a higher bill to them monthly than any other of their customers in the "West-O-Plex". The morning their ad hit about Blackberry Service I drove with lights & siren to the Metro store. (hear tires screeching) I was informed there that only new customers could have this service and I would have to go to BestBuy to get them!

My jr lawyer woke up and discussed false advertising. In the end, I had to drive to Plano (132 mile Roundtrip) to another Metro company store. The manager at my store had called and told them to sell me the phone.

Who you do business with has a great deal to do with the Metro experience. I had tried at an "authorized" Metro store on my corner. Boo Hiss Jeers and attempted ID theft later!

I returned the phone later that day and collected everypiece of paper I filled out with personal information with the assistance of the local gendarmes.

I then learned about "Company Stores". I now conduct all business there, not quite...

Metropcs is a mixed bag.

First the good: unlimited calling/texting to anyone in your vicinity! Set prices, so no surprises-well almost ( more on this later). No re-connection fees, and that's good to know because we will all go through that, we are after all on tight budgets.And 3G coverage and all the bells and whistles for $50, wow!

Now for the bad: Unlimited talk/text is great except for when you have no signal/ have dropped calls and/or can't deliver or receive your text until hours later which is half the time,errr!

Next we have the set bills which shouldn't change. Well what if, you pay your bill in full at the appropriate time then have the next bill come with and extra 10 or so dollars extra in the bill with no description? what to do, naturally you call in to customer service except no one answers you and when they do, they don't divulge anything and essenially say live with it or move on..Of course those extra $10 were still cheaper than the comparable...

They lure you in with a cheap rate. Then your bill creeps upwards. Why? Who knows? You can't see your bill, without paying extra. I paid the extra. They never delivered on my e-bill. So I've still never seen it. Oh, it was supposed to cost $1 to see the bill. They charged $3, then had the nerve to act surprised when I asked why. Then they hung up. There is absolutely no customer service. They only have "activation" representatives. If you can get through to their phone number, which is always "busy." Don't hold your breath, it usually takes me 20 or 30 tries to get through. Then they'll frequently hang up on you, and I'm always polite and soft spoken. The hang-up trigger is if you ask about charges or anything to do with over billing. Boom, hang up. 30 more tries on the phone number.

Metro got tired of the billing complaints, so they handed over billing to BillMatrix, who can do nothing about your account. They will not give refunds. Odd, the "activation" representatives send you there...

I want to talk about the Metro PCS phone service. I loved it when I lived in Florida and it was great. One flat monthly service fee and you had access to unlimited time , local and long distance. The only thing I didnt like about it was the service coverage area. If you went too far out of the city you had no power. I really wish they would cover more ground. The concept is great!!...

I really enjoy metro pcs. It is affordable, and if you dont pay the bill they just shut off the phone they dont charge late fees or anything like that. They also dont charge for terminating service, like some providers do. The service is pretty good for the amount that is paid....

I love metroPCS. Though the service is a little low is some areas, it is heard that metro is adding more servece towers up. I can pay my bills add or take away features if need be, and they text you the amount of money you owe a while before it is due. This is so you know what you owe, and gives you time to come up with the money. Their phones are like normal phones, actually from real companies like samsung and such. I give credit to the founder of this company it is great!

Love this service. Hope they expand. Dropped calls occur on moving vehicles or underwires, but the price is perfect for the service. Like no credit check too....

Metro Pcs

They will ripe you off sell you a phone then when there is a problem oooo yeah that phone has that problem will not exchange it for a different brand they speak poor english and do not care they are rude if you don't like us go elsewhere in less than 30 days I exchanged a phone 8 times for problems of one sort or another and no help from the corporate store or on the phone

When you call after an hour of punch this punch that and get all the voice computer help which is NO help then hold for a real person or leave a message I am still waiting form 3 months ago for a call back so I sit on hold and plug in the power cord and hope when I get a real person they speak english and the call does not drop

Metro PCS is almost the perfect provider. It has been my provider for 3 years. With a fixed rate, national long distance included, you can talk as much as you want to. The service would be perfect if their satellite signal were stronger. It could be that while you are talking the call drops. But it happens only in certain areas. It's a fact that Metro is improving its service each day. Unlimited minutes, same rate! Doen't it sound incredible???

As a person that is a very busy independent contractor and rely on making numerous calls, I love MetroPCS! I don't have to worry about any surprises monthly, I know my budget for my cell phone service will always be the same and I can always upgrade or downgrade without having to worry about re-starting a contract!

The only downside is limited in travel coverage which is okay for now and the phone styles are limited for now.

I love metro because it is a one flate fee depending on what service you sign up for. the prices are great and the sign up contract there is none which is even better because if you dont pay your bill or for get the pay it ontime it does not go against your credit report they just turn if off until you pay the bill....

THis is my second time with MetroPCS. THe only reason I left them the first time was because I moved to an area they didn't cover. Now that they're here, I'm back with them.

There's a lot less hassle than with the conventional carriers. I was able to get a great Qwerty phone for a good price, and I pay $100/mo for two lines of unlimited everything. Just don't forget to pay on time - they mean it when they say that they will turn your phone off at midnight! HOwever, even if it slips your mind and that happens, you just call, pay and your service is restored within 2 hours, no hassle.

I'm quite happy with the service I recieve with MetroPCS....

I have had Metro PCS for almost a year now and am extremely pleased with the service. It is very affordable with great benefits. The only drawback is the limited service area. But this is counteracted by no minutes to deal with. Unlimited local and long distance service. I am a loyal customer and recommend this phone service to many!...
