My son was born early and was on a high calorie Enfamil and breast feeding combo for the first seven months of his life. The Enfamil was $13.65 a can for the 12.5 ounce cans and he got up to two and a half can a week plus babyfood! When his weight finally got to where it was supposed to be , our pediatrician ok'd him for regular formula. He recommended Enfamil and I had been very pleased with it the whole time I had been using it. However, I was picking up a case of diapers and wipes at Sam's club one day and noticed their brand of formula. It was over 3 lbs for $20.00. I looked over the comparison chart on the label and discovered it was almost identical to Enfamil. I asked the pediatrician if I could swith and he assured me it was a good formula. My son never had any problems with it sure saved us a lot of money. The only downside is that it is only sold at Sam's club. I did a little research and discovered that Wal-Mart's Parent's choice brand is the same formula, made by the same company....
...

Love this formula. My daughter has been using this formula for the last 4 months and seems to do really well on it. She only has the occassional spit up problem (that is completely normal), but otherwise no problems with this formula. I have compared the ingredients in this formula to both Similac and Enfamil and there is very little difference then either one of them, but a HUGE difference in price. I asked my dr. about this brand and he told me that they are all made by the same company, they just don't send out samples like the big companies do, so they don't have to charge as much for their formula.
...

I started using Member's Mark Infant Formula with Iron and DHA & ARA Lipids with my first child in 2005 and now am using it with my second child born in 2008. It's a huge savings over Enfamil or Similac, with the same ingredients and nutrients. If you compare the labels side by side you'll see it's the same, but a larger container and at least 1/3 cheaper than name brand. When you're buying diapers, baby food, paying for daycare, etc., spending less for the same quality of formula just makes sense! True you pay $50 a year for a membership to Sam's, but the savings in diapers, formula, milk and many other items makes it more than worth it! Additionally, I never had problems with colic or abnormal spit-up with either of my children.
...

Huh. So of course I had to try this out when I gave birth to my little Malania in February. I was a new mom, professional in the workplace and definitely short on time. Sounds like the perfect scenario for this kind of preoduct, yes?

WRONG. Wrong, wrong, definitely wrong. Most definitely, truly, I can't believe whatthehell you're talking about. Malania tried one little sip of this baby formula and SPAT IT OUT.

I'm not kidding you. at all. Why do we even create this stuff? Here I was thinking that yeah yeah Malania she should try this out. My pediatrician, Dr. Smithson Browne, even asked me to, since I am and was and will be a very very busy official at Better Homes and Gardens. I did not even simply doubt his advice-- I took it and what a bad choice THAT turned out to be.

I don't feel that new mothers need this type of formula. I feed my baby Malania pure breastmilk, the best of its kind: MINE.
...

With my first child I used expensive formula. Because of the price we ended up putting him on whole milk early to save money. With my second I got smart and went the economical way! I used the Members mark infant formula. Not only was it a great price, but it contains the same great nurturance that the other expensive formulas have. I just felt so great at letting him be on the members mark infant formula the whole year that he needed it. In fact I had him on it a little longer so that I felt better about him getting all the nutrients that he needed to grow big and strong. The Members Mark Infant formula came recommended by several of my friends who had recently had babies. Now I know why it was came recomended! Kids are so expensive anyway with all of they toys and the crib, and everything else you need. Why not save some extra money, you can even put the money you are saving in a saving account for college! When I have my next baby I will definably be using this formula again!...
...

I love Members Mark formula! You get almost double you get when you buy Enfamil for cheaper!! It isn't as easy to mix, but for the money it is perfect! The powder is more like Similac, but with the ingreditents of Enfamil. This is perfect for every baby!...

At my daugher's newborn check-up, the Pediatrician asked what formula I was using. Enfamil of course. He shook his head and told me to stop wasting my money and try Member's Mark that it is the exact same formula and costs a lot less. So I took his advice and I am hooked. She had a problem with spitting up every now and then and using this formula seems to have resolved that as she has not spit up once since we switched.
...

This product is great, and the price is great also. My Baby loves his formula, and he is not short of growth that is for sure he is at 20lbs and 29in tall at 6 month old. I have tried other Name Brand formulas, and he had a lot of vomiting and spit-up from them. He rarely ever spits up and has never vomited from this formula. I have also had no problems with stains on clothing from it either. I would highly recomend this product....

My son was started on Similac at the hospital and I was given lots of free Similac from the hospital, pediatrician and my OB. But when the free supply ran out, I was shock at how much it cost and how quickly we were going through it. I tried the free sample offered on sam's club website and it worked find, smelled, looked, and tasted just like Similac. (Yes I tasted it) The CRAZY thing is that my son spits up MUCH less since we switched, Similac is too bubbly. For me, this product isn't the same as Similac, it's BETTER!...

This formula is great. I'm a "fan" of the Enfamil formulas, but those can get expensive. This is a great alternative, if you are looking to save cost. You can about $500 a year. I actually used the Member's Mark version the the Enfamil Gentlease. With my baby taking 5-6 oz every feeding, the can lasted me almost two weeks!! What a great deal.

Only thing is that you need some elbow grease to stir the formula.
...
