Member's Mark Litter Clean Scoopable is a very good scoopable cat litter for the price. There is not much scent, so my cats are not put off by it. It is pretty dusty, though.

But, my complaint about it is the newest container. Particularly the lid. I would love to reuse the containers, but I have to use a screwdriver to pry off the lid, and then the lid cannot be used. I cannot use the container with that lid on. And I can't nest the containers to save space, whether in my basement or in my car on the way to the recycling place. Please go back to the old lid!
...

GlasSlipper65 says "Member's Mark Scoop Cat Litter is the best value for your dollar" about Member's Mark Litter Clean Scoopable

I raise Siamese cats, so a good litter is a neccesity. At any given time, I have upward of fifteen adult cats and up to 24 kittens, all housed inside. Not only is this a good value, but my house does not smell like the Crazy Cat Lady's! The cats are not offended by its odor, yet the slight perfume is enough to keep the smell of multiple cats to a minimum. One of my first remarks to visitors is, "Does it smell like cat in my house?" Thanks to Member's Mark scooping cat litter, the answer has always been no!

While I really like the litter, and its price, there is a down side to this litter. The packaging is, by design, very heavy and difficult to carry and pour. I use a large plastic cup when the bucket is fullest, but the trips to Sam's Club are still tough when I have to transfer four or more buckets from the shelf to the cart, and then from the cart to the conveyor belt. The transfer from shopping cart to car isn't an easy one either, especially when I have my two small...
...

piperzdad says "Every bit as good as more expensive brands" about Member's Mark Litter Clean Scoopable

The Members Mark Cat Litter helped to control odor, which was a surprise since it was much less expensive then the name brand litter we had been using for our eight rescue kitties. The value was wonderful, but we did not have to sacrifice quality. The granules were not so fine that the litter was dusty, but small enough that it did not put the cats off. The cats adapted easily to the new brand with no hesitation, and as the head scooper, the litter clumped well, and scooped easily. We have even used the in house brand from a national retail chain that was almost comparable in price, but the chains quality was much poorer then the Members Mark. We have also used the in house brand from Wal-Mart, which I thought would be the same product in a different package, since Sams and Wal-Mart share cash registers. The Members Mark, again, is far superior in quality. For my money, the Members Mark Cat Litter is the best litter for the money out there.
...

The current (August 2009) Litter Clean scoopable cat litter from Sam's Club comes in a 40-pound green plastic pail with a navy blue lid supplied by a firm based in Toronto. The label boasts that it's 99 percent dust-free. NOT! My local Sam's Club recently stopped selling Tidy Cats scoopable and began carrying this stuff. The clouds of dust rising from this litter are awesome, so much so that I'm concerned for my cats' respiratory health when they scratch around in their litter boxes. I returned the product, readily received a refund, and wrote a complaint to Sam's Club.

Following is a portion of the reply I received from a Sam's Club rep: "Your comments have been taken seriously and we are working toward a better quality product for you and other members that have supplied similar feedback. This supplier is either going to improve the quality or we will have a new supplier."

This product is so bad that I cannot understand the favorable reviews it has been getting. You may save...
...

While shopping at Sams club I came across the scoopable cat litter by member's mark. It is wonderful and a LOT cheaper than the other brands. For $12 you get 40lbs of cat litters. It's a steal and works much better than the normal Walmart brand, which I would not recommend.
...

I have used the Member's Mark Litter Clean Scoopable litter for many years. All of my cats took to it quickly. It clumps well and the clumps hold together when scooping them out of the box. The litter contains odors satisfactorily.

This item is sold at Sam's Club, so you have to be a member there to purchase it there. Membership costs a yearly fee, but even with that yearly fee, the savings on the litter will make up for that. It is one of the most economical scoopable litters that I have found on the market.

This litter comes in an plastic 40-pound bucket with a lid that seals tight, so even if you don't use the entire bucket to fill your litter box at one time, you can safely store the remainder without worry about spills. You can find other uses for the plastic bucket, too(remember that reusing and recycling is better for our planet). Everyone needs a bucket for cleaning around the house, washing the car, etc. Or you can use it when you scoop the clumps out of...
...

Member's Mark Litter Clean Scoopable works great. I have one cat inside and two cats outside and use this in both litter boxes. It makes cleaning out the litter boxes easier, considering it is a 9 year old boy who cleans it out. There is less mess with this and really keeps the smell down. I would recommend this to anyone with a cat. It is affordable and works wonderfully. The less smell and mess we have to clean up the better for the cats. I buy at least two containers at a time and the value is tremendous.
...

Fresh Step kitty litter is the best litter I have used by far. I get the multiple cat litter and find it works wonderful. When you walk into my house you would never know I own even one cat and I have two. I love the fresh scent this has and I'm sure my cats do as well. I have tried other brands and my one cat in particular avoids this one box when I am not using Fresh Step (I keep two different litter boxes upstairs and one in the basement). I notice he will only use the litter boxes with the Fresh Step for whatever reason. Maybe he likes the smell better, or it could be the texure he feels on his pads that he likes better. Although he talks to me (he is Siamese after all), I don't quite understand everything he is telling me so I'll never know for sure his exact reason for not liking the other brands, but I do know it's just way too hard to buy 10 different brands, so now I just use the Fresh Step. I guess it's always best to just stick with wat works. Now my other cat...
...

This Member's Mark Litter Clean Scoopable is wonderful stuff! It is easy to clean and cheap. It controls smell, so there is no smell at all. And I have 4 cats using one big litter box, so that is really putting it to the test. People come over and can't even tell we have cats, even when they are in the same room as the litter box. People with cats always comment on how they can't smell the cat box. Wonderful stuff and I would recommend it to anybody and everybody....

We always have 3 or 4 inside cat's and we go through a lot of litter! Member's Mark clumping, scoopable Cat Litter is exactly what we need. It comes in 40 lb plastic tub's with a handle and a lid that snaps back on real tight. And it's at a price we can afford.

We have 3 or more litter pans going at a time. Our system is scoop out one litter pan putting the clumps into an empty Member's Mark plastic tub (with the snap on lid) and top off that litter pan with fresh litter. Next day, next pan, same routine until it needs a complete change and scrub.

When the old bucket, with that odor free snap on lid is full it's off to the landfill and home to a new tub of litter. The only drawback is the cats track it and if you pour fast it does make dust. But it's as good as, if not better than anything else out there. And it's affordable. So we are ALL happy!

...
