This toy is lots of fun -- my son loves it. However, patience is a must and an adult to help is useful, as it falls apart easily. The mega blocks don't lock tightly....

I enjoy a toy that teaches the child how to use their hands and their imagination. This does both. They can learn how to build things, think up ideas on what to make or play and it teaches patience when building. There are several pieces so I have my child put it all away when they are done, into a baggie and then store it in a box....

This (and all the others in the series) is great. The pieces are small enough to not take up a ton of space like Little People, but have a lot of the same features. My two and a half year old son will play with these block/action figure sets for hours.

These toys encourage the use of imagination. The blocks can be used with other blocks to make towers, buildings, etc. You can also follow the suggested building that comes with the package to practice following directions and a pattern. Tgese blocks are a great toy that is educational and fun.

Roughly $20 is a good deal from Mega Bloks for the durability and popularity of the Spider Man and Hulk Park Adventure set. I especially like this set because it ends the fights between my kids over the regular size Lego's. My younger son always tried to get his hands on them, while my oldest was protecting them with his life.

With Mega Bloks: Spider Man and Hulk Park Adventure, however, we don't have that problem anymore. My younger son is happy to play with his own set because it is cool. It includes superheroes and trees...it's not your everyday set of squares and rectangles. The size is perfect for him to grab the piece and fit them together without having to worry about the risk of him choking on one or swallowing a piece.

Of course, he often just plays with Spiderman and the Hulk by themselves and just dumps the other pieces, but it is a small price to pay for his safety and the reduced fighting over building blocks in my house!
