Medieval times in New Jersey was a great show except i couldn't hear ANYTHING going on. the sound was horrible. I was sitting near some of the actors and still couldn't hear a word. It was disappointing.

amalin32 says "Medieval times is fun for everyone and it doesn't require a fork" about Medieval Times

I have never enjoyed eating out as much as I did at Medieval times. Throw out the fork and get ready to cheer your heart out for your teams knight. This is a very interactive experience, you form friendships with total strangers on your team and create enemy's with the folks of the other teams, but its all in good fun. It doesn't matter if you are old or young, this show will definately put a smile on your face. You might even leave with a new desire to become a knight....

I have been to two different Medieval Times experiences now, one in Illinois, and the other in Florida, and both have been amazing experiences. The first time, I went with a small group of about 12. The food was incredible and we got to sit in the center section, which I believe offers the best seat in the house. The next time was more recently, and I was there with about 40 people. This time we sat at the end farthest away from the center of the action but it was still incredible.

This dining experience is like no other. Expect no silverware and TONS of meat (ribs and chicken) along with tasty soup, bread, potato, and dessert. Not to mention all you can drink of water and soda! It truly is a meal to remember! Plus, you get to eat in the dark, so nobody else notices how messy you are being! ;)

The entertainment is great as well. The horses are elegant and talented. The knights put on a great show of chivalry and skill, and the acting isn't cheesy like some dinner shows. From jousting to...
...

djcarr says "Exciting Time for all! " about Medieval Times

This is an exciting experience. I took my wife to the Baltimore/Washington DC 1,000 seat Castle in Arundel Mills Mall and we loved it. We had a blast. The costumes are extragavant and very realistic. One is immediately taken back to the 11th Century by the language and the decor of the castle. We were greeted as "My Lord" and "MyLady" and given crowns that showed which knight we would be cheering for. We posed for portraits with the King and then were free to wander the grounds of the castle until showtime. Drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) could be purchased from the tavern at very good prices. Jewelery and other souvenirs are available for purchase.

An Exciting Knighting Ceremony for special occasions(birthdays etc) is available upon request before the Grand Ceremonial Arena is opened for guests.

Dinner is served without utensils by wenches(women) and serfs(men). The medieval menu of Soup, Garlic bread, Roasted Chicken, potatoes and cool beverages are served throughout the evening...
...

Ever wonder what it felt like to be placed in the earlier times where people would crowd in an arena and watch men duel, somewhat like in the movie Gladiator? Now is the chance to watch this live action and very entertaining show!
Medieval Times is an excellent restaurant as well as a live entertainment source. When visiting Medieval Times, the setting and atmosphere are reminiscent of the medieval days. There is a museum you can walk through before the show begins, which shows the chambers and jails of earlier times. Once entering the main building, you are handed a crown with distinct colors representing your team. In my case, I was the Red and Yellow team. The arena is divided into sections for each team and you are seated on a long bench next to other strangers. Before the show begins, you are greeted at your seating by your slave. He will make sure you call him Slave! :) He will ask what drinks you would like before the food is served. The food is exquisite and hearty. You will more...
...
