Sun, 18 Nov 2007 19:03:20 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/McCormick-amp-Schmicks-Dayton-OH-review-03a30 boiaquamarine 5 http://www.viewpoints.com/McCormick-amp-Schmicks-Dayton-OH-review-6aa7 <p>I have found it difficult to find restaurants that offer real seafood.  It seems everybody serves the requisite salmon, tilapia, and mahi mahi, but rarely can I find restaurants that venture beyond that.</p><p>Enter McCormick &amp; Schmick's.</p><p>They have a very exentsive wine list, about 10 different types of fish (cod, halibut, walleye, catfish, salmon, mahi mahi, tuna, tilapia, sea bass) served different ways, and a variety of other seafood (such as calamari, shrimp, lobster).  The house salad is to die for....leafy greens and arugula with walnuts, cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette.  YUM!</p><p>The desserts looked wonderful, although I didn't have any of those.</p><p>The service was prompt and very courteous.  Our waitress had exentsive knowledge of the fish and wine selections.  The restaurant was very slow that night, but I am sure it's a waiting list on the weekends.</p>...
