I am thrilled at getting the opportunity to review this dishwasher. The model I purchased cost approximately $700.00 right after the warranty was up it began not working. It would pump the water in, heat it and then stop. We called a maytag and they sent out a man who said that the main pump was out and it would cost $450.00 to fix. We had already paid the man $50.00 just to look at the thing. We knew that it could not be the main pump because it would pump the water in and out - it just wouldn't go into wash cycle.

We took the thing apart down to the motor and cleaned it and put it back together. It worked fine. We called the Maytag company and they reimbursed us for the money we had spent and gave us a 1 yr warranty for the machine. Seems like a perfect thing to do huh? Well it continued on for several months and then just about the time that the year warranty was up it began to do the same thing and then when we took it apart, although we would find nothing that would...

my dishwasher was disconnected a while now that you plug into my new house, worked very well the first time and now does not work, put a light wash and gives me a time of 7 minutes, do not have the user guide, someone I could point my e-mail is agar05@prodigy.net.mx thanks

When we built our house, we got all GE appliances. When the GE Dishwasher water pump went OUT, the pump cost as much as a new GE dishwasher. So, we purchased the Maytag Jet Clean Dishwasher-EQ Plus and have never had any problem with it. We bought this weekend, a new Whirlpool/Maytag Front Loader Washer and Dryer and a new Whirlpool/Maytag Refrigerator-Stainless Steal, Side by Side with freezer below.

This dishwasher is as old as the old Maytag Neptune Washer and it is STILL working and going srong. In fact, it is running as I am typing. We have found no problems ever with Maytag-Whirlpool appliances.

I own one and love it. Cleans great and is so quite. My kitchen opens into my family room and you can run it and not be bothered with noise while watching TV.

We have been really happy with the over all performance of our dishwasher.We bought it 8yr. ago and have not had any trouble,cleans dishes well although it's not silent its not too loud.

i have had my dishwasher for awhile and it still runs as good as it did the first day. maytag had to replace some things under warranty but thats all i have had done with it . i couldnt live without it!
