I am the owner of a Maytag Neptune Front Loader Washer. I have owned it for about 2 years and am very happy with its performance. It uses very little water and cleans very well. The spin cycle spins most of the water out and helps clothes to dry faster. I have the matching dryer and pedestals. I really appreciate that I don't have to handwash anything. There are a variety of cycles and settings to accommodate delicates and hand washable items. It has served me well.I have no complaints with this machine.

The Maytag Neptune Washer is such a rip off! It gets moldy and mildew in the brush next to the drum which leaves a bad smell in the clothes after washing. Also there was a recall on my model but I did not get the notice in the mail --heard about it later and Maytag said the recall was over---they did not honor the replacement. I've had trouble with it --it's about 6 years old. Would not recommend a Magtag at all--will not ever buy another Maytag of any model.

My husband is a nice guy. He works hard and likes to spend his money getting nice things for our beautiful home. Since our son not only plays baseball but catches, laundry is a big deal. Those knees! So he spends top dollar on the Neptune.

It leaks. It has had multiple fixes because it vibrates so much, it broke its' own door. It has torn the linoleum flooring in my laundry room because it jumps so much. It's supposed to be large load but even using it at half its' touted capacity, it goes nuts. We've called Maytag multiple times hoping for a solution so we don't feel ripped off. They are making us jump through multiple hoops. My husband is so sick of the situtation, he's shopping other machines.

He works so hard. It really bugs me that his $1400.00 means nothing to the Maytag people.
Note: Maytag is now advertising "reduced vibration!" machines. Gee.

The Maytag Neptune Front loading washer is a good product but abou six month into owning it the front gastet started leaking. Not a hunge deal because it's in the basement but now I have to go through the inconvience of calling someone for maintanence and waiting for them....

This washing machine meets all my expectations. You can wash small loads to big loads. I like that it has a compartment for the soap, bleach and softener, you add it and walk away. It has all the settings a person could want....

I really love my Maytag Neptune Washing Machine. The front load feature really saves on water. I love that it's good for the environment by conserving water. I really like that I only need to use a little detergent also. There are all the setting for all my laundry needs. I've had it 5 years so far and it works like the day I got it.

Ok I had always wanted a front loader washing machine. When my 4 year old Kenmore died I said well now I will get a new front loading washer and dryer ! I got rid of my old ones and in came my new Maytag! Boy was I thrilled. For 4 long years I dealt with a washer that had troubles from the start and I was so happy to get a new chance at washing HEAVEN.

Well I had my maytag washer and dryer 2 weeks. I went to load a pretty little fleece throw in and wash it. My washer did not work. It never went to spin cycle. It left my throw drenched. I had to have the repair man come out to fix my 2 week old washer. He said I used too much of the he detergent. Well guess what I did not I used exactly as much as the bottle told me.

So this has happened twice. I know that I will have more problems and am very unhappy with this purchase. My husband notified the manager at the store we purchased this washer at about the issue and told him that if it happens again he wants a brand new washer. Of course that...

This rebranded Samsung washer is a mere shadow of the original US-built machine. I had ZERO problems with my MLG2000, but this machine actually caught fire. Water got into the control board, shorted it and the machine went POOF. Replaced with the German Whiripool/Kenmore/Maytag version; that's another story.

The Maytag Neptune (MAH 9700) Front Load Washer is wonderful. I adore front load washer because they save me $'s in water, my clothes are noticeably cleaner, i can wash practically anything from socks to my bedspreads and comforters and i don't have to go to the laundry mat now for that. When you have 12 in you family, and 8 are teenagers, you need all the savings and help you can get...
