We bought our Maytag Neptune Dryer a few years back right before they were discontinued. I had my eye on this set when they first came out and wanted to have it. When my old Maytag washer finally gave out, no I didn't try to kill it, we bought this new set and I am very happy with it. I have always been a Maytag fan and that is the only washer and dryer brand I will buy- Yes you can say that I'm a Maytag snob. :o)

My Maytag Neptune Dryer was bought nine years ago. I have only had the repair man out to replace the timer switch. It last as long as the washing machine. It drys faster and better than any of the other driers I have had. It makes doing laundry a breeze. It take only 20 to 30 minutes to dry a load depending on how big it is.

One of my pet peeves for years was clothes dryers. Either they would run too hot, or too cold, or they would take FOREVER to dry clothes.

Back around 1999, my washer bit the dust and we decided to try to see if we could get a front loader to replace it. We found an amazing deal on a Maytag Neptune washer and were thrilled that it worked well.

To match our washer, we bought a gas dryer (we always had electric before that) and we got the matching Neptune Dryer. It was the best move we ever made.

WHAT IS THE NEPTUNE GAS DRYER LIKE?

The MAYTAG NEPTUNE DRYER is a very large drum dryer. It is meant to take large capacity loads from the NEPTUNE WASHER which is about 1 1/2 times the size of a normal top loader load of laundry.

The MAYTAG NEPTUNE DRYER has an internal sensor in it which stops the dryer when the clothes are just about perfectly dry. This means that I don't have to have my clothes fried or left sopping when it is done. This is a separate setting on the dryer- it can be...

This is the first Gas dryer I have had. I bought gas because some friends said they had one and loved it, so I decided to try. I am so glad that I did. Had electric before and it never dried the clothes completely unless it was a small load. This gas one dries large loads every time.

i bought my Neptune's set in 06 first week they were here to check drum would not turn .....2 time i needed to have heat fixed and now they replaced the drum 2 time in 10 months last one last friday and now it has to be replaced again 4 days later ... i have 8 people in my house work full time i don't have time for all this back and forth to laundymat not worth the trouble i will never buy Maytag's ever agin lat time they replaces my drum it took 4 months to get the part in ... now they order a new one again we will see

The Maytag Neptune Dryer is a great machine. The dryer has different cycles to dry clothes & it also has a cool down cycle & then it beeps to let you know when the cycle is done. I have had it for at least 6 years & I have had no problems with it. I would recomend it to anyone.

I purchsed this because my mother had a Maytag when we grew up. What happened to the way Maytag Neptune, it seemed to have gone down hill. The dryer filter doesn't catch everything and builds up in the bottom. Doesn't dry towels very well.

I have, over the years, had many electric clothes dryers. None of which compare with the Maytag Neptune Dryer. With many different settings available from low heat to high, air fluff, wrinkle release, timed dry and sensor dry this is a very valuably efficient dryer. The average drying time for a load of clothing is approximately 40 minutes which comes in about 20 minutes shorter than the average electric clothes dryer. I highly recommend this product.

I love my maytag neptune dryer. it fits my simple and space saving personality. this dyryer is so coooool and it is really cooooool looking. my wife said that this is my best buy in twenty-five and a half years ever this is one of the most easy simple dryers ever and its super quiet. We purchased the Neptune set about 6 years ago. It has been a very reliable appliance. It is great to have a dryer that drys clothes in about the same time as it takes to wash them. The display setting are easy to use. We like the wrinkle prevent options in case we cannot be there when the timer goes off. Good product that I have recommended to friends and family....

The neptune dryer, just like the washer, has proven invaluable to me. I have owned it for 6 years now and it performs just like the day I bought it and have needed no maintenance or repairs at all! It's solid, beautiful, and user friendly. Absolutely love it! Would be lost without it!

The Neptune has a wonderful way of sensing when the clothes are done. Finally the washer and dryer are done close to the same time!! Its efficent and has a setting to prevent wrinkles. This saves time in not having to iron. The digital diplay makes chosing the setting easy. Another really nice feature is that when chosing a setting it automaticly shows the posible drying time. This helps to know if it can be done when you're ready to go.
