I purchased my Maytag Gemini stove four years ago. It has been a wonderful stove in many aspects. I really enjoy the double ovens, and mainly use the small upper oven which allows me to use less energy. However, it is nice to be able to cook in both ovens at different temperatures at the same time when I need to. The smaller oven on top is not very tall, so casserole dishes with lids and stock pots will not fit in it. The bottom oven is close to the floor, so you have to bend over or squat down to access it. Mine is black and chrome, and I have found it hard to clean. I do enjoy the digital controls for the oven, especially the timer. The timer does not just go off once and stop, but goes off again and again, in case you don't hear it the first time, which is nice. I paid around $1500 for my stove, which is quite a bit more than most stoves cost, but I felt the features made it worth it. Plus, it is a Maytag, and I am an admirer of all Maytag products.

When my husband and I got a new home I knew I had to have another

Maytag Gemini. The two ovens are wonderful - the smaller top oven is

great for everyday - heats up faster and uses less electricity and on

holidays and special occasions it is so handy to have two ovens. Don't

use the top oven to make bread though - it isn't deep enough and the

bread bakes into the heating element. Otherwise it is totally awesome!!

We've had to replace the keypad on our three-year old stove, to the tune of $240. The repairman said he makes a lot of $$ replacing these. Simmer burner doesn't really even keep things warm...

When my last gas range stopped working I went shopping for a new one with some specific nedds in mind. I had a price range and was limited to a gas range, which I prefer anyway.

I found the Maytag Gemini 5 Burner Gas Range at a discounted price. I was overjoyed at my good luck. I knew Maytag as a trusted name brand. This range met all my needs and more.

The 5 burner top was new to me. And the double oven feature sold me!

The advantages of having the double oven outweighed the minimized space between the burners.

You learn to adapt to the 5 burners. The luxury of having the double oven feature in the Maytag Gemini is worth it. I can turn on the upper oven alone if neeing to bake only one pizza. And then I can turn on the lower oven if I need to bake three at a time!!

It is easy to clean and the closed burners are a blessing. No mess to clean up underneath the range top.

You would be very pleased with this Maytag Gemini Gas Range if you are lucky enough to get one!

I love the Maytag Gemini double oven. It has a flat top stove with 4 burners plus a warming burner. The 2 large burners also can be used as smaller burners by switching them to a smaller setting. The top small oven heats to 450 degrees in less than 2 minutes so warm up time is a breeze. The large bottom oven is very deep allowing for 2 baking pans to sit side by side on a single rack.

We purchased the Maytag Gemini 2.5 years ago. I wanted the dual ovens and 5 burners. HOWEVER, we've been having problems with the stove's "Sabbith" mode, which effectively shuts down the ovens and timers. We were completely freaked out when it started saying "Sabbith" and bleaping and blinking! Aside from that, the burner area is too small to use the middle burner and the outer burners at the same time, and none of the burners turn down low enough for a true simmer. The upper oven's heating element is too close to the shelf and other than keeping things warm, we can't use it as it burns anything you try to cook. I wish we had picked a different stove!!! Oh, and I got a black one, which was another HUGE mistake as it always looks dirty, no matter how much I scrub!!

I have the Maytag Gemini with convection oven and I am loving it! I couldn't believe how fast the smaller oven heats up. I'm not even done in preparing the food that I need to bake. How awesome is that! I have a Thanksgiving meal to prepare and so looking forward to having my food all done at the same time. ...
