Great mascara. Love the duo thing. I think even better than this one is the Colossal by Maybelline also. I usually use the primer from this one (the white one) then put on the Colossal. Many compliments on the lashes!

Maybelline Intense XXL Volume + Length mascara, as you may know from the commercials, takes two steps to apply, which I personally can't stand. First you apply the white stuff that's supposed to lengthen and volumize your lashes I guess, but if you don't apply the other side right away, before the white dries, then forget it. Welcome to having scary white eyelashes for the rest of the day. If you do apply it quickly enough though, then maybe it's not black and looks ok. On the other hand maybe only part of it is black and there are still spots where it is still white. Even if you get the black to cover all of the white, the end result is usually a mess with your lashes. My lashes have a natural curl to them on their own, so I look for mascaras that compliment that, but this one simply ruins it. It makes a total mess out of my lashes that all the eyelash curlers in the world can't fix! There are a lot of great Maybelline products out there, but this is NOT one of them. Save your money.

I loved the first 2 tubes. Made my lashes look really long and thick. After I bought my 3rd tube I'm not loving it as much. Clumps too much and makes your lashes too fake looking plus the tube dries out too much. Time to switch to a better mascara.

maybelline xxl mascara is a pretty decent mascara. I thought the way it was split into two parts was pretty spiffy. The design for this product was really eye catchy and I think that presentation is a huge part of marketing. I think its neat that there are two different mascara things and one is white and one is black. maybelline xxl mascara really does tripple your eye lash length and it stays and doesnt ware off very easy. I personaly like almost all of maybellines products and would recomend them to anyone. I have never been dissapointed in any of their products. Mascara is a very important beauty product for most women and we dont want crappy mascara thats going to make our eye lashes clump together or look like spider legs, unlease thats the look your going for... more power to you I guess. Anyways I believe mayballime xll mascara gives and provides this good quality and I dont think anyone will be disapointed in this product unless you can figure out how to use it or you dont wair...

i used this for awhile..i kept hearing good things about it...at first when i put it on i was like wow it looks great long black lashes who can i bat my eyelashes at now but then as the day when by i kept seeing white dots out of my eye..and it turns out that it was the first part you put on before the black part i mean it does look good but i spent all day picking it off and putting it back on trying to not see the white part when i looked at something...and it chunks up alot even with just one coat or just wearing the black...i personally think there is better mascara out there that you don't have to worry about all day and i was so mad i had high hopes for this to work...but i guess i can have everything i want...haha...im still looking for a better mascara if anyone has any really great mascaras in mind please send a email this way i would love try a new mascara that works without seeing stuff...

I like this stuff- its great for girls like me with pathetic eyelashes. For years I used department store mascaras and was outdone by the big thick lashes that my husband has. I mean, seriously, boys should not have better eyelashes than girls! When our finances changed and I decided that I didn't need to spend $15-20 on mascara, I tried this. Love it! And let me tell you- the waterproof version will not let you down. For days at a time! Get yourself a good mascara remover when you get this stuff! NOw, on the downside, since its a double ended tube, you can tend to end up with uneven amounts, which kind of stinks. I seems that I always end up with the white colored extended and thickener while the actual mascara product has gone empty or run dry. I guess that the price you pay for uber big eyelashes!

I got my product at Wal mart- I'm pretty sure of it. And I paid no more than $7.00 for it, so I think its a great value for the money!

Maybelline XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara has been in my assortment of cosmetics for several months now. Just recently I decided that I needed to clear some of these items out, especially some of the eye products that were getting close to the garbage time. I don't like to keep mascaras for more than six months. I remembered used Maybelline XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara before and had chunked it into the bottom of my case because it was a pain having to wait for the conditioner to dry before applying the mascara first thing in the mornings getting ready for work. I'm always in a rush and this just didn't fit into the routine. So, on mornings when I'm a little ahead of schedule I pull out Maybelline XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara.

Maybelline XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara contains a conditioning formula on one side and mascara on the opposite end. When you screw off the end cap, a wand will appear instead of pulling the application wand out of......

i love it at first, but in daily routine, i dont prefer it.
I like to have light mascara in daily routine, this is perfect for some night party , when you may like to show bulky lashes...
but doent go with my daily routine, although it is good for those who like to wear heavy mascara and also who loves long lashes all the time.

This mascara is AWESOME!!!!! My lashes are thin and short. I have always wanted my lashes to stand out. I have tried numerous mascaras and always came up short. I decided to try the Maybelline New York XXL Volume and I LOVE it. It doesn't clump or make my lashes look fake. It does seem to make them look longer. I don't think I will need any other mascara ever....

Usually I don't like wearing/using eye makeup because it always feels clumpy and it flakes and it smudges when you rub your eyes. My sister bought this mascara and she wanted to try it out on me. So I let her. It wasn't sticky or clumpy and it does flake when you first put it on, but after that, it sticks. It also adds a lot of volume and is waterproof. I couldn't even get it all off with makeup remover and it ended up staying on for 2 days straight before it started to come off. This is the only mascara I use and it's well-worth the price. I highly reccomend this for people who want a waterproof mascara that adds volume....

I've tried more mascaras than I can count. They're either too clumpy, don't give enough length and/or volume. This is the first mascara I've used in years that does it all. At first I wasn't sure about the 2 layer concept. Then I realized I was buying a primer & a mascara anyway, I might as well get them in one place. It works for me and does a good job of giving me great lashes without alot of work. One coat of each & I'm ready to go. I only use the waterproof....

I previously purchased only MAC cosmetics, I believe this mascara was on sale I brought it to see if it would work and it does. It is a two step process first applying the conditioner than the actual mascara but it does lengthen the eyelashes.
