I bought this because previously I had used Mary Kay mineral make up and when I moved I could not find a Mary Kay sales representative. I liked this make up but the color was never quite right and I typically had to reapply it at least once through the night. It did provide some coverage over trouble areas but I've never found a make up that helped with that.

I like how quickly I can make up with this. I've used Bare Minerals and I don't think the color was as natural and I had to work it in a lot more. It may have lasted just a bit longer, but for the price Maybelline does a great job. Your own long handled brush will make application even quicker. If you only have time for this and mascara--you're still ok....

I had used Bare Minerals for about two years, but didn't like the price that I had to pay. I started using Maybelline and not only love the much cheaper price, but the way that it makes my face feel is WONDERFUL! It is a much finer powder and thus feels much lighter....

I have never tried the bare minerals, but recently decided to try the mabelline version of it and absolutely love it! It blends so good! I'm very pickly of makeup and and so impressed by this product I'm going to buy the whole line....

My answer, is no. I have bare minerals and I ran out of the foundation mineral powder. I decdided to try the maybelline mineral powder for a quick fix till I ordered my regular brand. To me I was dissapointed because it seemed like all the rest of their loose powder. It didn't blend near as well at the mineral makeup I normally use. I felt like it also made my skin oily. So now I preoder my brand....

Quick View: Pretty, loose powder blush with minerals in it. But it isn't all natural so don't be fooled. Still, this blush is natural looking and very concentrated. It's OK although I can get all natural mineral blushes for the same price.

About Maybelline Mineral Power Naturally Luminous Blush

As I mentioned in my review of Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation, I bought the whole line because that's how I roll when I see a cosmetic collection that appeals to me. I have loads of actual mineral blushes and like them but find many are a tad shimmery which I am not a huge fan of. This blush has minerals in it but is NOT all natural. Still, it is talc free, fragrance free, and oil free and does have some minerals in it.

The blush comes in a half dollar diameter pot with a sifter. You have to tap out some of the loose powder into the cap and swirl your brush into the blush and apply - just like you would with true mineral blush. There are about six shades from very light pink......
