philligrl129 says "Better than a salon polish" about Maybelline Forever Strong Iron Nail Color

I like to have my nails painted (and hopefully unchipped!) at all times and I hate when I have to redo them too often. I have found that this nail polish goes on very smooth and lasts long when used with a base and topcoat. Alone, it doesn't work as well, but with the extra coats it has lasted up to a week with only small chips. I use Sally Hansen 2 in 1 base and topcoat, but I know that is not the key since I've tried with other polishes and never gotten as good results. After a few weeks of use, my nails are very strong and people mistake my at-home manicures for a professional job.
...

I don't really wear colored nail polish too much, but I need something to keep my nails strong! So I went shopping in search of some clear nailpolish, and Maybelline ForeverStrong +Iron was on sale for only 2$ so I had to try it.

The bottle
This .5 oz bottle is clear and a short chubby shape. I prefer this to the tall skinny bottles which are harder to use. The brush can't touch the bottom (which I never understood about nail polish) but since it is short I can tell it will be easy for me to tilt it and get the remainder out when I'm down to the bottom.

Applying it
It goes on smooth and really easy. The brush is almost an inch long which seems to improve application because you can soak the brush with liquid, than do multiple fingers before redipping. I also noticed it wasn't sticky at all like my last clear nail polish, and it came out effortlessly. I only use one coat of clear b/c usually nail polish chips easier if you put too many coats. It felt dry within a few minutes, but I'm cautious......
