Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is a great foundation for women with fair to medium-dark normal to oily skin. I have very fair, oily skin. I usually start with toner, lotion, and sunscreen. I use only a tiny bit, because it goes a long way. It lasts almost until 2:45 pm (i put it on at 6:42 am). It smooths over any flaws and mousturizes very well. Its water proof, but sadly not sweat proof. It is very light and natrual looking. But make sure you rub it in extra well because it can clump if just rubbed in breifly. It is matte, but I suggest using a light powder highlighter. It is very good for your skin, but not for women with very dark skin or dry skin. Overall, this is a wonderful product and I reccommend it.
...

AmbrosiaRainn says "Excellent Product" about Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation

Okay so I have been using Maybelline Dream Liquid make up(also have a review of it) with great results.

However, during my period I get oily I found it "slipped" off my nose and chin. After reading reviews on Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse I decided to give it a try.

I am impressed. Its not shiny, covers well, doesnt bring attention to my pores and doesnt slip off my face. There are a few things Ive noticed though:

1. I have to blend it better than I do the Dream Liquid Mousse.

2. The color I normally use (natural beige 2.5) is darker than the Liquid Mousse.

Other than those two things, which are eaisly rectifiable, my experiance with this product has been good.

I would recommend this product based on its coverage, lightweight feel, and its ability to hide shine and flaws.

This is a great foundation. Really any foundation from mayballine is going to be great. It goes on smooth so that touyu can barely tell that there is make up on your face and it cover spots that are unwanted up very well. I am pleased to have found it. Mayballine doesn't cost too much either. I know it is not the cheapest stuff either though and unfortunately, though they do have coupons for some of their makeup like eyeliners and mascara, I have never found a coupon for there foundation. Anyone know where to get one from, let me know! BUt the stuff is worth the money either way. It lasts for a very long time as well. Using just a little will go a long way so you wont go threw it super fast and need to buy another right away. Many reasons why this is a great product. You will no longer be afraid to show your face in public when you feel you have hideous marks that are just grossing you out\1!
...

I began using Maybelling Dream Matte Foundation when the product first hit shelves. At this time I was using a squeeze foundation that I applied with my fingers. The Dream Matte was very different and I was a little skeptical at first. When I tried the product, it went on so silky and smoothly. I was amazed at how my skin looked. It didnt make my face look greasy after wearing it for a few hours and it seemed to last several hours without needing to be reapplied.

I have been using the product for longer than I can remember at this point, and I will continue to use it until they stop making it.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation is the best foundation out there. i have tried all different types of foundations possible at the drug store and this is the onl product that works for me. It goes on smooth and is not cakey like other products. It also blends alot better than other products, because some foundations dry too fast and people can tell you are wearing too much makeup and it looks bad. I also use the maybelline dream matte mouse concealer to cover up spots and dark circles, before i put on the matte mousse foundation. It really looks even and improves my complextion. I have combination oily/dry skin so it works for all skin types. Also, i found that alot of foundations and concealers really broke out my skin and made my skin feel gross. I would definetely recommend this product to everyone who uses foundation /concealer whose skin easily breaks out of has imperfections.
...

CouponCat says "A decent base" about Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation

I usually use Maybelline's sheer minerals foundation or age rewind. I decided to try the mousse after it went on sale. I was pleased with the color matching to my skin tone, which I was able to do with a color sampler I found in a magazine -- just enough of each shade to do a quick test on my skin before I bought a full jar.

I apply the mousse with a foam wedge. It goes on pretty well if I don't gob too much on at one time -- otherwise, it clumps up and leaves tiny chunks of makeup on my face or that fall on the counter.

Once I got the hang of application, I was overall pleased with the results. While it still doesn't cover blemishes 100 percent, it seems to provide more coverage than the liquid bases I'd used. Still not the perfect makeup, but pretty close, especially for the price.
...

I was really happy with this foundation! It stays true to its name, giving you a great "matte", airbrushed look. I use this with the great powder brush from the ELF studio line, and that buffs it out on my face really well. It hasn't made me breakout, which normally happens with my foundations. I really do recommend this. It's has surprisingly good coverage. If you have dry or flaky skin, I wouldn't advise you to use it as it kinda emphasizes it. Other than that it's really great!
...

I am very picky about what make-up products I use only because I have very fair skin and most foundations make me look like I have tan lines on my face. I remember seeing a commercial a while back about Maybellinne's Dream Matte Mousse Foundation and I thought it looked interesting and decided to give it a try. And I looved it!!

The first thing is that the price was actually about the average of all the other foundations on the market, so that was ok. It comes in a small glass "dish-like" container. The make-up itself literally looks like mousse...almost fluffy, if you will. I was not too sure how to actually apply it (with my fingers or a sponge), so I used a sponge. (My mother uses her fingers and she likes it better that way). The foundation goes on really evenly not leaving any "tan lines". When it sets it, your skin almost looks like porcelin. Looks beautiful on and your face looks healthy.

I would highly recommend this product!
...

I love Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. Its a wonderful foundation. Its easier to layer then most makeups. The only downside is its not non-comdegenic...meaning it clogs pores. Its the kind were you cant really wear it all day long becuase your risking the chance of a break-out. But even thought thats the really the only downside. Its a great product. You dont really have to put much on and its lightest color is actually a good match for my skin tone. And i have a hard time to find a great match becasue they always put FAKE colors in foundations...Im not orange and Im not yellow. Im not SUPER pale im not stark white But im no tanned person either. The sun hates me so i hate the sun. Anyways, I love the texture of it and how you dont need that much of it So even tho it comes in that tiny tub it should last a person atleast a month atelast. I stopped using it because after a while like I would say 3 months of using it, it will break you out. But thats only for people with Oily_acne...
...

I never thought I would use foundation, but when I used this, I was amazed. It makes my skin look almost flawless, aside from my freckles, etc. It is so incredibly silky soft when you put it on, too! My skin tends to get oily in area throughout the day, but dry in others, and this mousse foundation gives my skin a perfect natural looking matter finish. The ONLY downside is if you have larger pores, this tends to accentuate them, but that is the case with most foundations. I just avoid those areas. This little container also last forever and is definetly worth the price....

Every since I began to "dabble" with makeup (very late in life - early twenties), one of the most difficult things for me to achieve was a flawless look. You know the kind that you see in magazines. You would be surprised, but as a woman of color, it was very hard to find the right foundation for my skin tone without spending lot of money. Even in the makeup lines designed for women of color, I didn't find what I was looking for.

I caught the chicken pox in my early teens which left some scarring on my face and other parts of my body. So I was looking for a foundation that would provide some really good coverage and found Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse. It gives you really good coverage yet allows your skin to breathe. After two attempts, I found a really good match for my skin tone when I decided to try the foundation in Cocoa! Jackpot!

Now if I could just learn how to seal the makeup so it doesn't rub off so easilty, it will be the makeup brand I choose for life! Maybe some...
...

The Dream Matte Mouse by Maybelline is terrible. I have had the privilege to be chosen to go up to New York this past summer and test several hundred pricey brand name and cheaper makeup appliances. The matte mouse not only irritated my skin, but left a sort of powdery look on my face. Now, I do have quite pinkish skin. The tones available all seemed too yellow on me, but this doesn't go for everyone.

There are some good aspects of it, however. It last a while. A little bit goes a long way. And, afterall, it's only a few dollars at your local Wal-Mart...nothing special. It does the trick in a pinch, but I just hated the way it would lie on my skin. There was nothing 'natural' about the look I achieved. It has a mask like finish, and a sort of powdery film builds up around your nose/mouth/eyes, even if you rub it in completely. It also rubs off easily- I place a hand on my cheek an hour or so after applying, and a dusting of yellow is on my fingertips.

...

Dream Matte Mousse is AMAZIING! I've read many reviews, unfortuately I went through my own million foundations to find 'my one.' It must depend on the woman and her skin. However, Dream Matte Mousse makes my skin incredibly soft, it doesn't cake and it stays on ALL DAY, even through my two little children; an active 3 year old girl and a laidback 10 month old boy. They sure keep me on my feet and even though, my make-up never needs to be re-applied. Now, just to find my perfect bronzer....
