As a self business owner and new mom, I use the mico car seat almost every day. Finally my son, who is 7 months now, does not scream every time I put him in it. When he was first born, he hated this thing. I think the angle between the back and the seat is to sharp and it squishes the baby's abdomen. That said, I love that the car seat fits in with the Foray Stroller, which we also purchased. I do have to say, it looks very chic when we go out with it.
...

k3ty says "hard to install correctly if you do not have latch in the middle" about Maxi Cosi Mico

Maxi Cosi Mico seat is not easy to install at all! It goes from 5-22 lbs so you cannot use it as long as other seats and if you look at the manufacture it is that same as some of the other "cheaper" car seats just with a different name, so people think that it is better. With this seat you have to use a locking clip to install it in your car with a lap shoulder seat belt, which you have to do in most cars since middle is the safest and most cars do not have latch in the middle. Also the angle adjuster does not come out very far and there is only a "level to the ground" line on the side of the seat to make sure that the seat is at the correct angle. This is important if the infant is too far up their head can fall forward and clamp off their airway. I would not chose this seat.
...

After reading many many reviews online and seeing many car seats in person, I was excited to learn that Maxi Cosi was approved to sell their Mico (or Cabrio, as its called in Europe) in the United States just before my daughter was born. I actually almost had a friend who was travelling in France smuggle one back with her for me! While the European version comes in more colors, I can't complain at all about the car seat as far as design, fit and function.

Intro
For years we have hated our cable company, yet other choices didn't exist for us. Of course, the cable company knew it, and used it to their advantage with outrageous fees and a terrible service. We talked about making a switch to a satellite dish for a few years, and once we finally made the decision, we never looked back.

The Programming Choices
With DirecTV, we have the same types of choices of packages of channels that we had with cable TV. Basic, the average "most popular" package, and the package with everything including the kicthen sink. There is also a choice of premium channels, just as there is with cable TV. You can get paid sports programs, movie channels, Pay-Per-View, etc. We chose one movie package, whereas with cable we used to have two, but knew we didn't need two. They also have an NFL football package that allows you to get every NFL game, not just the local ones or the ones featured on the networks. That was a huge selling point for my husband, as he tailgates...
...

the maxi cosi mico car seat is the best! it is safe, nice looking and durable. i feel safe having a child ride in it, and many i dont. it is very important to have a safe trustwortly car seat, and many of them now days are not at all, and this one is. it is also not just your basic plain looking one, this one has caracter to it, which i think makes it alot more fun for the kids! let them feel like they have a say so in picking out a cute seat to ride in! i am very very happy with this and would recommend it a million times to anyone and everyone! i think this is the best and should be the only one on the market! once anyone tries it, they would fully agree! i will never ever use any other kind,, ever! i also like how the seat belt fits so much more snug than any other seat we have used. alot of the others seem not to fit right, or the belt is a way to high up on there neck, which of course is dangerous. on this one, its not that way, it fits perfect, which makes me more comfortable. im...
...

mmkmama says "Easy & safe" about Maxi Cosi Mico

I love our Maxi Cosi car seat. We've been using it since my daughter was born and she just turned one. It's pretty light weight (for a carseat), clicks in easily and seems to be more roomy for her than many of her friend's carseats. Best of all, it's been great to have the Maxi Cosi stroller that fits with the seat. The whole system works more or less like the Bugaboo but for a fraction of the cost.

The one downside, and I think this is a downside of any car seat, was that my husband and I spent a while figuring out how to install it. And then, after all our work, we went to have it checked at our local police department and it turned out we had it in wrong and it had to be taken out and re-done. So I guess the moral of that story is that it really is important to go have the carseats checked by someone who knows what they're looking at.

Overall though, I highly recommend the Maxi Cosi Micro and the stroller too!!
...

Kurgana says "Almost perfect!" about Maxi Cosi Mico

I decided upon the Mico based entirely on the fact that I wanted ti use it together with Foray stroller. I am absolutely delighted that this carseat really worked out well for us.
The first great thing about it is the EPP foam, which gives it a much nicer look (most other models have the big, squishy pad-like foam making them look like old discarded sofas) and its upholstery is soft and cottony, not squishy and velvety like most carseats. The fabric marks easily but it is pretty easy to take the cover off and wash.
The seat comes with a base that has trigger release (like regular seatbelts, just push the red button to release) LATCH hooks - they make installation so easy that we really could have gone with only one base for our two cars and had no trouble at all. Initial installation involved two steps: making sure the LATCH belt was the right length, and attaching it to the anchors. Literally, it took under five minutes to install.
The base can be tricky to release.
The only (minor) complaint...
...

I got tthe maxi cosi MICO carseat (the title for some reason says micro which is wrong) in happy flowers for my daughter and I love it. As a previous poster said the buckle was tricky at first but got used to it quickly. Trying to figure out how to get the next carseat up in a cute color from Europe! The only issue I have with the carseat is that it doesnt really fit nicely on the grocery cart....

We bought this car seat to go along with the Quinny Buzz stroller. Kinda spendy, but this is our 2nd baby and we knew what we didn't like about our first stroller/car seat. The seat is really cool looking, comfy for the little one, and really safe. The only thing that is kinda hard is the buckle. You have to put the two sides of the buckle together before you insert into the buckle. We are used to it now, but was a little difficult to get used to with a newborn. ...
