I have a 3 year old son, and he just loves the Cars movie. We got him this Lightning Mcqueen Car, that moves,talks and plays music, last year for his birthday.Ever since then this thing goes every where my son goes. It is fun to watch my son chase it all around the house which is actually kinda cute. It is a great toy to buy for your son or daughter, if they enjoy toys that move on there own. I will say the battery life is not as great as it should be specially if your child is playing with the car on a daily basis all day long, i would say the battery life would probably last about 3 to 4 days. So yes we buy batteries constantly. Not only is this toy great, but it is very durable. My son has thrown it around the house slammed it on the floor, tile and carpet it's been knocked down. I mean Mcqueen has been threw alot but it still runs, it still talks and moves around. That's another reason why i give this toy 5 stars. It is a really awesome toy!

My son is absolutely addicted to Lightning McQueen and having this car is the next best thing to actually owning Lightning McQueen himself! It keeps him entertained for hours. He pushes him around the house yelling "Kachow, Kapow!" My son actually used the car to help himself crawl when he was 7 months old. It's an excellent toy for baby boys and girls alike. Anyone who has small children that love Cars or any car for that matter, should definitely own one.

My nephew got this toy for his 2nd birthday. He loves it as soon as he got it he played with it he refused to open anything else. It took my sister 20 min. to get him to open something else. he loves the lights. And it mostly likes it just because it cars. He watchs that movie all the time. I dont think he gets the purpose of the movie but he likes the fact the cars go fast.

My 3 yr old son recieved Lightning Mcqeen car for Christmas last year and he loved it. He still has it and still he plays with it just about everyday. At times he won't leave the house with out taking it to daycare. I would highly recamend this toy to any parent looking for something fun for their child to play with. It makes my son laugh everytime the eyes move and it talks....

We bought the Mattel 14" Lightning Mcqueen Car for our 6yr old son who LOVES anything cars. This car is very durable. Everything in this house takes a beating. It does make a lot of different noises. The volume level could handle to be a tad lower but it's not unbearable.

I recently purchased this matchbox car for my 6 year old nephew. He has over 100 matchbox cars, but this one is his favorite. I highly recommend this product to anyone who knows a child that loves matchbox cars.

The car is also very safe for young children. The wheels move, but as far as I can tell, theres no way for the child to detach said wheels.

great toy my son received this toy for his Bday. He loves it and so do all the other kids when we have playdates. Only con is that the sounds are loud.There is an off switch. I don't mind loud noisy toys if my kids are having fun. I recently saw this toy at target for $10....

This toy is great! I got it for my nephew for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! It has to be his favorite toy! I would definately recommend getting this for a friend's child, a grandchild, or if your a kid at heart maybe even yourself! It is very durable, has a great replica of the voice from the movie, and is a very beautiful red color!

My son is completely addicted to all the Cars toys. This Lightning Mcqueen does not disappoint!

My son received two similar yet different Lightning McQueen's for his birthday. I can highly recommend both! 1 more advanced version, and the other a more generic option.

1 has more buttons and makes more noises and actually drives by itself by pushing forward/backwards/side buttons. It has several different phrases. My son was actually afraid of it at first (he doesn't like loud noises or toys that move on their own). He would push the buttons then jump on the sofa where he was "safe". He still loves this toy though, and all kids that visit our house are naturally attracted to this toy.

The other looks exactly the same, but has limited functions. The eyebrows are moveable and it is a push toy only. This is still a fun toy with much less noise! It does have a few buttons that make sounds, but overall is a pretty quiet toy.

I recommend either, depending on your budget, and your childs desires.

My 6 year old son received the Mattel Cars: 14" Lightning McQueen Lights and Sounds Vehicle as a Christmas gift this last Christmas. He is a big fan of the hit Disney/Pixar movie, Cars and his favorite character is Lightning McQueen. Needless to say he was thrilled when he got this!

The Vehicle

According to the manufacturer, this vehicle includes the following features:

Light up side bolts
Moving eyes
Authentic vehicle sounds
Voice that "brings him to life"

My Experience

This bright red, 14 inch, plastic Lightning McQueen vehicle lights up, moves, makes sounds and even talks. When he talks, it sounds just like the character from the movie which my son thought was cool. The car doesn't go automatically and needs to be pushed by hand but that doesn't seem to phase my son. He enjoys pushing it all around the floor as the lights and sounds are going off. I like that the toy came with batteries included and when they do need replacement, it will only have to be two AA's.
