Review:

The Mary Kay Velocity Cleanser and Moisturizer system is formulated for 12 to 22 year olds. It's a $22, Three-step program stuffed into one bottle: it's a cleanser, a toner, and an exfoliater - saving you time and money. Plus, the minimal packaging allows you to save even more. It's gentle on my sensitive skin and has a wonderful clean, fragrant smell with tiny microgranules to exfoliate gently. When I wash my face I count my ABC's twice (for a time reference) while gently using my fingertips in a circular motion.

The moisturizer is an eight-hour oil controller and works beautifully for oily skin. Over the years my age has changed and so has my skin, so I need a stronger moisturizer to combat the dryness, but when I was younger and had oily skin, the Velocity moisturizer worked wonders in maintaining moisture while providing oil control. The moisturizer is light, fragrant, and clean, just like the Velocity cleanser.

I have been using Velocity for a total of two weeks now, and I must say it has been a great substitute for Proactiv. There are a few things I really like about Velocity; one, its not too expensive, two, its a two step acne treatment, and three, it works great. Velocity comes in different packages, but I purchased the "two-step" treatment, it has a cleaner and moisturizer, for a total of $22.00, thats it! This one purchase was said to supply me with 3-4 months of usage, my first thoughts were, "no, really.. how long will this last me". You recieve the bottles and they are average size, much larger than Proactiv, for half the price. I purchase my MK Velocity thorugh a Mary Kay representative in Texas, Paula Galindo, while I am an ARMY wife in Tennessee; and I greatly appreciate the convienience of the online ordering. Velocity is just one of the great products I purchase through Mary Kay. I would recommend this product to anyone with moderate acne problems and on a budget, like myself!

Velocity by Mary Kay is a wonderful product line for teens or young people. It is packed with Acne fighting ingredients in it too. I love this product line....

I'm not a huge fan of the Velocity cleanser, but the moisturizer is wonderful! It's the lightest moisturizer I've ever tried. Most "oil free, lightweight" moisturizers still make skin feel greasy, but this moisturizer helps fight greasy skin. The only problem is that it doesn't have an SPF - so make sure your makeup covers that area....

I used Velocity cleanser many eons of time ago when my aunt lived in the area and became a Mary Kay consultant. I ran out after she moved and decided to try something else for awhile, but I ended up coming back to the Velocity cleanser. It works on my oily skin and the moisturizer replaces and replenishes my lovely facial skin cells. The moisturizer is so lightweight you hardly know it's there, unlike other lotions that feel like they drag your face into the depths of despair and stick it to the slimy half oily walls and leave it there.

Velocity cleanser and moisturizer is by far the best stuff there is!

I've been using Mary Kay Velocity skin care products for a few years and have nothing negative to say about them: I have a combination skin with those "traditional" oily spots (forehead, nose and chin) and the cleanser does a great job - personally I like it better than Creamy Cleanser or Deep Cleanser 3 (Classic Basic Skin Care). The moisturizer works great too - it's light, fast-absorbing and has a nice scent....

Mary Kay's Velocity skin care system is great. It clears up blemished skin rapidly and continued use prevents its recurrence. There are also women's and men's body care and fragrances available in this product line all with variations of the clean Velocity scent.
