ScarletRoses says "Great for chapped lips" about Mary Kay Satin Lips

I tried the satin lips duo at a Mary Kay party and I was really impressed. The lip mask is great for gently exfoliating dry lips. The lip balm is also nice and keeps the lips soft and shiny, although I think using any lip balm after the lip mask would probably be fine. I will definitely purchase this set again when my current supply runs out.
...

lynnepowell says "This is a life saver after a lifetime of chapped lips!" about Mary Kay Satin Lips

It seems that I was born with chapped lips, and they never stopped chapping. I could drink 12 cups of water a day and my lips would still be dry. Then I went to a Mary Kay party and discovered Satin Lips, and my lips are now awesome! You know how your regular skin care regimen usually includes exfoliation? Well, that's step 1 of Satin Lips. If your lips are chapped, it gets all of the dry, dead skin off of your lips and leaves them ready for step 2. Step 2 is a lip balm that doesn't dry out and has no alcohol, so your lips stay beautiful all day. I like to use the products at night, because I wake up in the morning with my lips ready for lipstick. After using them for a while, you find you don't need the step 1 (Satin Lips Mask) as much as you do in the beginning, and can taper down to using it once a week. the Satin Lips Balm (step 2) goes with me wherever I go. I even have my husband using it! He spends a lot of time in the sun, and his lips tend to get burned even with lip sunblock....
...

About: Mary Kay Satin Lips

Satin Lips? Are you kidding me? I guess I'm just not so concerned at how smooth my lips are to spend money on something like that.

You have to find someone that sells the stuff (an individual - not a store) and then put up with them trying to sell you a bunch of other stuff over and over and over and over and over and over again.

You can go to any hardware store and buy some extra-fine sandpaper. Rub it back and forth on your lips until they're almost bleeding. Then slather on some vaseline. TA-DA! Satin smooth, soft lips. Once they start to swell from the sandpaper, they'll be puffy (swollen) and even more attractive!

Satin Lips? Are you kidding me?
...

Mary Kay Satin Lips makes your lips so very soft. The mask gently exfoliates your lips getting all the dead skin off. Afterwards, you slather on the balm and it moisturizes. It feels silky smooth when you pu it on. The balm isn't the greatest balm, it's not bad, it just doesn't last very long. You could try using your favorite lip balm after you use the mask to make it even better!...

AngelaWLaFon says "Mary Kay Satin Lips: Good bye dead skin, Hello Satiny Smooth" about Mary Kay Satin Lips

Mary Kay Satin Lips is two part system with Satin Lips Lip Mask and Satin Lips Lip Balm. I've been a fan of Mary Kay skin care and cosmetics for many years but recently I tried a few new products, including the Bamboo and Lotus Cleanser and the Satin Lips set. Over the winter I couldn't seem to keep my lips hydrated and smooth. Chapped and peeling skin on my lips felt bad and looked bad too and made it impossible to add lip color without bumps and clumps. Obviously a regular facial mask would be very harsh on your tender lips but I had never heard of a lip mask. Thank you Mary Kay!

You only need a minuscule drop of Satin Lips Lip Mask to gently apply to and massage into lips and leave on for a minute or two before removing. I am always amazed at how smooth and soft my lips feel after just one treatment. The next step is the Satin Lips Lip Balm which hydrates and protects lips.

The only drawback I've noticed is that is is difficult to apply any lip color on top of the Mary Kay......

I have suffered from dry chapped lips for as long as I can remember. Lipstick would often cake up on my lips because of the dry patches. Mary Kay Satin Lips has literally solved the problem. It exfoliates all of the dry patches away and then smooths and soothes them with the balm. I use it once a week or more often if needed and the difference is truly noticeable. I recommend this product to anyone suffering from dehydrated, cracked lips....

This is another great MK product. This is a great mask/balm duo. You apply a scrub mask and then a balm that makes your lips really soft. If you use it constantly, your chapped and dry lips will go away! This is always in my purse, i love this stuff!!!!!!!!
...

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE SATIN LIPS FROM MARY KAY. I PREFERRED IT WHEN IT CAME IN A SMALL TUB BUT THE TUBE WORKS THE SAME AS WELL. IT GOES ON SMOOTH AND I GO HOURS WITHOUT HAVING TO REAPPLY IT. IF YOU USE THE SCRUB FIRST AND THEN PUT THE SATIN LIPS ON YOUR LIPS WILL BE BABY SOFT AND SO SMOOTH. THE SCRUB HELPS GET RID OF DRY LIP FLAKES AND ALSO HELPS LIP LINES LOOK ALMOST NONEXISTANT. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT....

I thought I'd try this out when a friend of mine came forward about being a Mary Kay salesperson. I've used Blistex and loved it but found that I had to re-apply a lot in order to control my dry lips. I liked the look of the ultra glossy lip gloss but found them to be sticky... not sexy.

The mask helps get the flakes off when chapping does occur and the balm is nice and shiny without being sticky. It doesn't have a strong smell or flavor so it won't affect the smell or taste of things when I eat. And when I give my honey a kiss, I'm not grossing him out with my balm.

And it's long lasting... I've had my balm for about six months now and it's still got plenty of balm in it... that's a good value to me.
...

This stuff is the best stuff ever. My lips get so severly chapped in the winter and this stuff shapes them up in no time. A quick and easy way to keep you lips smooth and soft, not looking and feeling yucky. I use the mask less than the balm. The mask I usually just need during the winter time. This seems so much better than some of the waxy stuff that you buy at the store. A definite must have product....

When my consultant told me about this product I was a little skeptical; however, this stuff is amazing. There are two steps, an exfoliation and a balm and they are so fast and easy! After I use it I press my lips together over and over again because I can't get over how soft they are. Satin lips makes your lips kissable even in the dead of winter, and it feels so good...even with chapped lips it doesn't irritate or hurt. I HIGHLY recommend this product!...
