Mary Kay's mineral makeup is not skin friendly. Notice that the first ingredient is "talc", which is a cheap filler and can be potentially toxic. Then count the number of ingredients in this mineral foundation. Wow, way too many don't you think? This makeup is not really inexpensive but it is filled with cheap talc and other cheaper synthetics (cheaper to make in the lab than using unadulterated mineral ingredients). True mineral makeup should have only a few ingredients, none of which are talc or manmade. You also have to use more layers of this mineral foundation in order to get the coverage you need because of the cheap fillers in it. These fillers obscure the actual minerals which give mineral makeup it's color and staying power. You can keep putting this on and putting it on and never have an all day, full coverage. Talc can clog your pores and after you've loaded this stuff on your face, you'd better believe it's clogging something. Do yourself a favor, try another brand.

I Cant Stand this foundation!!! Its extreemly dry. I found it to be orange and settled in to every poor and fine line I have. It just did not have a soft and silky feel to it like I would like it to. I did not last long and shine was visable within an hour.! I WILL Never Use This EVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!! i DO NOT RECOMEND THIS AT ALL

I used Mary Kay for about ten years back in the 70s and into the 80s. I loved the simplicity of the skin care regime and the way my skin looked with the makeup. I do believe my skin had a "glow" and I loved the compliments that I got with using the products. Then, they changed the formulas. I broke out so bad that I had to be under a doctor's care for a few months.

I eventually tried other brands and settled into a well-known green department store brand. I was somewhat happy but still longed for my old Mary Kay glow. Several years passed and more formula changes came along. With the changes an oil-free liquid foundation was created and I leaped at the chance to try it, but it looked cakey and cheap. I returned it.

Since then, I have been using mineral foundation and makeup for over a decade. I like it so when a friend started selling Mary Kay and mentioned they now carry a mineral foundation I was once again sucked in for nostalgia sake. I ordered a package. The $18 price...

I have used Mary Kay products for about 21 years. I suffer from severe allegeries and Mary Kay has been one of the only products that does not trigger my allergies or break out my sensitive skin. I like to use a foundation, but sometimes foundations can feel really heavy on my face. I was using the Mary Kay foundation in a tube because it was not as heavy on my skin and did a good job. Last year I tried the Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation. I just love it! It feels light on my face, to the point I can hardly tell I'm wearing any foundation. It covers all my little flaws. I usually only have to have one application of it, but sometimes I will use two. It lasts for most of the day on my face. I tend to rub my face a lot, so no matter what I use, it tends to be gone before the day ends, but usually last until I am finished with work. It doesn't break my skin out. It goes on so easy without any smudges. It matches my skin wonderfully. It is a great value for money. ...

When my friend decided to sell Mary Kay I thought she was nuts and I just knew she was going to try and sell me on it one way or another. Luckily I already knew that I couldn't wear Mary Kay makeup, just like everything else I'd tried, due to my allergy to the preservative used in almost all makeup products. She talked me into trying the mineral foundation and OMG I loved it and it didn't kick up my allergy at all! I then tried the mineral blush and didn't have a reaction to that either. We did have some problems finding a mascara for me to use but ended up finding one of the Mary Kay ones that work for me also. I had to admit that she was right to push me on trying some of the newer products otherwise I wouldn't have any makeup I can wear, just like it had been since I was a teenager. When everything was all said and done I had bought the mineral makeup and blush, lipstick, mascara and eye shadows.

Knowing that I have an extreme allergy with makeup and I was able to find products that...

I have been wearing Mary Kay since I was 16 years old. I am 31 now. I have always felt that it was just like every other make-up. Until today!

Their new Mineral Foundation is GREAT!!!! I have never felt anything like it before. I have never liked the caked on feeling that I get from most foundations even past Mary Kay foundations. This I forget I am even wearing.

On top of it feeling great I have been getting complements from different people almost every other day. That is great when people notice how great you look.

Thank you Mary Kay for an above average product that is completely worth the price!

As a busy mom of a newborn....i didn't have time for a shower some days, much less time to put on heavy liquid foundation that rubbed off on my baby. I love that this is a quick application and looks natural. My skin feels weightless and it doesn't rub off!

I was going to buy a more expensive brand but was thrilled when Mary Kay came out with this!

I will forever use this product.

I love this Mary Kay Mineral foundation! It looks and feels weightless but yet covers my flaws well. In the past I haven't worn makeup at all, because I liked the no makeup feel. However, this gives that feeling and improves my skin. I like it so much that I even thinking about becoming a Mary Kay consultant.

For the majority of my life I have strayed away from powders due to my extreemly dry skin! However, the MK mineral powder foundation does not leave my skin feeling dry. I due use the MK 3-in-1 cleanser, day/night solution, moisturizer, and medium coverage foundation prior to the powder... so that might help with the dryness... but over all this product goes on very even and smooth. You can't even feel it on... you feel like you just washed your face, none of that caked-on feeling!...

I love the Mary Kay Mineral Foundation. My new best friend because I don't have to apply goopy foundation any more. Only slightly problematic of one sweats profuselydripping off the face but I don't. I also love how long the new MK Mineral eye shadow stays put all day and I dont have to reapply and doesnt crease.

My other fave MK products are the TimeWise Miracle Skin care system, awesome. And the firming eye cream.

But I also love the fact that Mary Kay backs their products with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, that If I didn't pick the right color, they will give me a free product replacement, or my money back.

I love the Mary kay Mineral Powder Foundation. It is the easiest to apply that I have ever used. Also it has buildable coverage, so you can apply a little or a lot. Also the price tag is not as much aws some of the pricier brands, I highly recommend this product....

The mineral fondation from mary kay is better then the liguid because you don't get lines showing of use of product and just a swirl of the brush on your done.I just ordered this and i can't wait to use it again.I used to just buy the liguid foundation but now that i've tried the mineral i like it alot better.Using the liguid was messy and i'd always get lines showing of the make up so i wanted to try something new.When i went to a mary kay party and tried it i loved it my friends recommend it to me and i'd do the same.Try it for yourself only you know what you like....
