Mary Kay's microdermabrasian set did not leave my skin irritated and raw, unlike popular over the counter apricot scrubs out there whose uneven pits can do more harm than good, I have heard this is due to the refined crystals used in the refining step(Step 1).

I have combination skin and I use this set a couple of times a week in addition to my twice-daily use of the Mary Kay Timewise 3 in 1 cleanser and moisturizer, day/night solution, and acne treatment gel.

After using this set, my skin is so unbelievably soft, and feels fresh and clean and looks healthier, so that when its time to put makeup on, it goes on smoothly and evenly. I started using the microderm. just a few weeks ago but you can feel the difference in the softness of your skin after the first use. Also I have personally noticed less blemishes.

I sell this stuff because it actually works!

this product is by far my favorite a must have for me, when you use it it makes everything else you put on that much better also. i did my microdermabrasion routine twice a week and when i put on my foundation it made it look so flawless and i know it was the microdermabrasion becasue before i had my kit i would wear the same make up and by the end of the day it would make my skin dry that when i looked in a magnified mirror i had so many white heads poking out...yuk..i know.. i could also feels them when i touched my face. this kit got rid of that and by the end of the day my skin was not dry at all it still felt velvety soft like a baby skin, i use to think oh well we are grown and no matter what our skin will never look or feel like a babys!..i was wrong! i am so glad i tried this product and i am one tough critic it takes a good product to really keep me and have me wanting it and needing the product to make me feel assured in my look. and this did it for me!

The Mary Kay Microderm Abrasion set is a two step system that uses a fine grain aluminum scrub in the first step, and a deep moisturizing serum in the second. It is a little expensive, at $55 for the set. Also, it I always run out of the scrub before I run out of the serum. However, I've notice a reduction in pore size in the four months that I have been using it. I have bought the set twice, and it is a simple addition to my beauty routine, since I use it every other day, in the shower. It does not take very long to apply, and since it is not something I have to use every day, I do not have to stress if I miss an application. I have noticed that my foundation goes on more easily after I use the microderm abrasion serum. I also like that it is travel friendly, with each piece being well under the reglation three ounces allowed by our airline security personnel. The Mary Kay Mocrodermabrasion set is a terrific product! I love it. Its so easy to use It is a 2 step product. I love the thought of having a day at the spa but because I am a single mother I couldn't really see myself spending over $100 on myself for just one day. I tried the microdemabrasion set at one of my friend's facial party and I feel in love instantly!!! I have very dry patches randomly on my face, After trying it at the party I instantly found my skin smooth all over. In just 2 minutes there was such a difference that I couldn't believe it. I have tried other over the counter microderm sets and none of them felt that good that day or the next day. I couldn't stop touching my face. My boyfriend even noticed how smooth my face was right away. I have noticed that I have very little dry spots on my face now. And just for a few minutes twice a week I have wonderful skin. I can justify spending $55 every few months and not $100 a week. I can even fit it into my busy schedule being a single mother. This product should be in every woman's bathroom!

The mary kay microdermabrasion set is awesome. The second that you use it you can feel an amazing difference. You skin feels smoother and looks refreshed. The price is just a little high how ever it is complety worth. You don't have to use it everyday. Just two to three times a week. You will not regret using this product. You will see you skin clear up in a matter of a week. If you compare the price to getting microdermabrasion dont professionaly you will go buy this product. I recommend this with all my heart, just mary kay products in general are awesome. I wouldn't go a day with out and nore would i want to. There are tiny microbeads that scrub off the dead skin so that you skin can regenerate its self.

Mary Kay Microdermabrasion Set inlcudes a bottle of Microdermabrasion cleanser which is like an exfoliator with beads and a second bottle called "Replenish" that you apply to the face to replenish your skin after your exfoliation.

I am loving this product.

For years I tried doing mask but they were often too time consuming and too drying. Still, I knew I needed something to help exfoliate big time so that my other skin care products could do their jobs well.

My Mary Kay skin care consultant reccommended the Microdermabrasion set and she reccommended that I use the cleanser in the shower.

About twice a week I use the Microdermabrasion cleanser in the shower and then replenish. You can feel it working. It is a much stronger exfoliation than the beads in the Mary Kay 3-in-1 Time Wise cleanser. I think it would be too much for daily use but twice a week seems to work well for me. You can see and feel the results with softer, smoother skin.

My only beef is that the two products...

I found after using this that it makes my skin feel soft. The make up goes on easier and the wrinkles are less obvious.

I really enjoyed this Mary Kay microderabrasion kit. I have tried several other brands but this one seems the most luxurious. The crystals in the exfoliator seem very effective and not to big. I really enjoy the post treatment serum the most. It is sort of silky and calming. I have very sensitive skin and I like the fact that it doesn't seem to have a lot of fragrance and it is very calming and gentle after a good scrub.

I also really like the fact that I can try any of the Mary Kay products for as long as I want and If i'm not 100% satisfied I can return or exchange them.

To be upfront, I am not into heavy duty, time consuming skin care. My face considers itself lucky to be rinsed off in the shower, and makeup is not part of my daily routine.

But, this means that when I do start to feel like my skin is getting too neglected, I want something good to put on it. Mary Kay has consistently been the best for me. Now I will cleanse using the Timewise cleanser then use the Microdermabrasion set to get down to clean, new, healthy skin underneath all the old buildup I've been letting go for a week or two.

After using the Microdermabrasion I really do feel that my skin is softer and just feels better than before I started. I can feel the first step sloughing off dead skin cells, and the second step really helps me feel refreshed.

Make sure that your skin is damp enough while using the first step, I have occasionally had to dampen my fingers again while rubbing it in, or else it feels TOO rough. But the second step always calms my face right down again....
