I very rarely wear make-up, but when I did, the eye shadows would only stay put for a short amount of time before moving into the creases of my eye lids. I tried the tricks that othes had taught me - put foundation on my eye lids, etc. However, none of those worked. I ended up meeting someone who was a Mary Kay consultant and she let me try out this product before I purchased. I couldn't believe how well this product works! Some of the eye shadow still goes into the creases of my eye lids, but overall, it makes the eye shadow stay put for 1000 times longer than it would without. Mary Kay Eye Primer works wonders! It's a staple in my make-up bag and I wouldn't use eye shadow without it!

MaryKay Eye Primer, this product works great. I bought a tube a few years ago and this stuff lasts forever. I put this on berfore I put my eye makeup on and it is almost like it moisturizes the eye lid. Then whatever eye shadow I put on sticks to my eye lid so well. You get that bold look, that sometimes you cannot get with eyeshadow alone. I always get people saying that my eyeshadow looks so good and it lasts all day. I also, get people saying is that mac makeup (because you get that bold look like with mac makeup). If you have ever priced mac makeup then you know how expensive it is is for each eyeshadow. Well this gives you the look of mac makeup but can be used with all the eyeshadows you already have. So overall it doesn't cost you the kind of money that you would spend with mac. I love this stuff and I would recommend it to anyone, which I have before. Why go for a look that you have to buy all new eyeshadow for, when you can get the same look with one new product...

Mary Kay eye Primer is quite possibly my most favotite piece of makeup that I own. Now let me tell you that as cheap as I am, I have a think for makeup, so I have tried a lot of brands, a lot of kinds and a lot of colors! I actually bought this Mary Kay eye Primer because I ended up at a Mary Kay Party and needed to leave, so I bought the first relativly inexpensive thing in the bocure. Well, that was my lucky day, because I LOVE the Mary Kay eye Primer!! It goes on smooth, it lasts forever on your eyes, my eye makeup looks the same when I come home at night as it did in the morning. You don't have to use very much so it lasts a long time. I don't even remember when I bought my last one. They are not that expensive, especially considering how long you can use them for! I also feel like it makes my eye shadow stand out more than just putting it straight to the eye lid. Like I said, this is probably my must have for make up!

I love the new MK Signature eye primer. I am amazed at how much better those mascara flake disapeer too. Love how my makeup stays put for all day. Love MK's 100% satisfaction review....

Mary Kay Signature Eye Primer

I am a fan of Mary Kay cosmetics, skin and body care in general but this is one product that is so worth it.

What is an eye primer?

Mary Kay Signature Eye Primer is a white cream in a tube that helps your eye color to go on smoother and stay on longer. Just blend a teensy dot over your eye lids and gently blend before applying eye shadow.

I have found that Mary Kay eye shadows stay on longer than most anyway but for long days or nights, I always use the eye primer. Eye shadow goes on smooth and stays put so I never have to reapply.

I can go from preschool music class, to the gym, to a library tea party, to dinner, to basketball practice and my hair may not have any more "do" but my eye shadow still looks great.

The tube of Mary Kay Eye Primer is only $12.00 and lasts me for months. It saves me the time and expense of reapplying eye color so it is worth every penny.

Another thing I like- it's made in the U.S.A.

I bought this product a while ago when my cousin started selling Mary Kay, she talked me into it so I bought it. If your going to be out for a long time and don't feel like carrying all your makeup with you or don't have time to touch up it up is the best product for you. It keeps eye makeup on for so long and in the summer it is a necessity. I have problems with oily eye lids and this definitely helps; I thought foundation was enough to coat my eyelids with to keep makeup on but it wasn't. It may be a little expensive for the size but its worth it! You don't need to use a lot of it, just a little dab...a little bit goes a long way with this product....

I found this prouct to be very greasy. It left a very oily fim on my eyelids, The Mary Kay Eye Primer also had a tendency to "ball up" into little greasy balls on my eyelids. I did not find that it caused my eyeshadow to last any longer at all. I actually found that with the oily film, my eye make-up actually seemed to slip off much sooner than if I had just dusted my lid with powder. I also became very annoyed with the pushy Mary Kay sales lady's approach of calling me constanly and trying to recruit into their cult and inviting to attend "Monday night makeovers or meetings". I just want some make-up....

I bought this product because I was hoping it would help my eyeshadow and liner last a little longer. I have very, very oily lids and nothing seems to stay on them. My eyeshadow creases badly (and I use an eyeshadow that's higher end and isn't supposed to crease!) and my eyeliner - even pencil eyeliner - runs and smudges but not in a good way! I don't know about you, but the whole Alice Cooper look isn't for me! lol.

Anyway, this product just didn't do it for me. It helped make my shadows and liner last a teensy bit longer but not by much. It's basically the same as smeering some foundation or concealer on your lids without powder and then applying your shadow and liner - ie, it doesn't last well.

If you have very oily lids I advise you not to waste your money. There are products out there that are at a better price that actually work. I'm actually about to write a review on one that I found - check out my page if you're interested.

The best thing is that if you have a nice Mary Kay lady,......

Mary Kay eye primer is a great product for the cost. It is a product that you can honestly say a little bit goes a long way. This is an extremly useful and effective product. I am always looking for products that are effective, but also cost effecient. This eye primer is both in one....

I have used many eye primers. I used to work for a major cosmetic company found in dept stores and those didn't even compare. I love the fact that it doesn't have any pigment to it. It goes on so easily and I use less shadow and it lasts into the late hours of the night!!! I think anyone who has problems with creasing shodow this is all you need. I have had problems with the others reacting with my lids and causing a small scab in the crease in just hours of wear. This has been amazing!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

this product is what i was looking for! This primer is great for oily or combinations skin. If your eyeshadow is gone by the afternoon or you get crease lines in your eyelids this is what you want!!! Your eye shadow WILL stay for a looong time. I used to retouch my eyeshadow by lunch, now i have the eyeshadow all day long! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS!!!

MK eye primer is amazing! For years my daughter had to worry when she put on eye shadow. Many products would cause her eye lids to swell up. Her dermatologist told her that she was allergic to many of the chemicals in eye shadows and recomended MK's new mineral colors. Instead, we just tried their eye primer... and for some reason she can now wear any eye shadow without a reaction! The cream goes on smooth and lasts all day! We hace since fell in love with many other MK products!...
