wonkao says "Best place to buy cages for any small animal!" about Martin's Cages

I heard about Martins Cages when I first began taking in small animals for rehabilitation 10 years ago. They were so helpful, and fantastic with the prices. The cages are perfect for any small animal. They have all sized cages..one level, 2 level..etc. If you are planning on getting a small animal as a pet, I would highly recommend buying a Martins cage for it before you get the animal....

Novella says "Very good value" about Martin's Cages

I love these cages for my chinchillas. The designs do take animal safety into account. For example, I customized a cage and forgot to change the cage bar spacing to a smaller size for my chins. The company noticed and made sure that it was made appropriately.

The wire floors can be tricky to clean, so I recommend against getting a wire floor slide out pan. It is easy for quick bedding changes, but can be very annoying to clean. The wire shelves still may get icky, but you'll have a lot easier access to clean them!

Overall, very sturdy and safe. A much better value than almost anything you can find in a petstore.
...

bolan747 says "Heaven for me and my rats" about Martin's Cages

I have 12 pet rats, and cannot imagine ever not having a colony to enjoy. Our local pet stores have many cages, but most I found were too flimsy, or not big enough, or too expensive. Luckily, I found www.martinscages.com , a website for a company that specializes in cages for various animals.

I chose the large RUUD model cage. I learned to line the balconies and floors with carpet plastic runners to make cleaning much easier and keep my rats from getting bumblefoot. I like that the rats can each have their own areas, and there is a lot of room for them to exercise. I also always have room for all of the toys I like to give them. It is as tall as I am, so I can stand and see them eye to eye.
...
